  • In this paper, we examine and analyze the concept of different non-integer chaotic systems with external disturbances, uncertainties, and input non-linearities. We consider both drive and response systems with external bounded disturbances and uncertainties. We also consider non-linear control inputs. For synchronization, we introduce the adaptive sliding mode technique, in which we establish the stability of the controlled system by a control which estimates uncertainties and disturbances, and then applies a suitable sliding surface to control them. We use computer simulations to established the efficacy and adeptness of the prospective scheme.

  • This paper deals with the robust controller design of robot manipulator to track a desired trajectory in spite of the presence of unmodelled dynamics in cause of nonlinearity and parameter uncertainty. The approach follwed in this paper is based on model reference adaptive control technique and convergence on hyperstability theory but it does away with the assumption that process is characterized by a linear model remaining time invariant during adaptation process. The performance of controller is demonstrated by computed simulation about position and speed control of six link manipulator in case of disturbance and payload variation.

  • Studied on identification of nonlinear system with unknown variables and adaptive control were successful. We need a mathmatical model when control a dynamic system using adaptive control technique, but it is very difficult due to its nonlinearity. In this paper, we described about performance improvement of error back-propagation algorithm and learning algorithm of non-linear dynamic system. We examined the proposed back-propagation learn algorithm for through an experiment.

  • Input-output linearization technique in nonlinear control does not guarantee the robustness in the presence of parameter uncertainty or unmodeled dynamics, etc. However, it has been used as an important preliminary step in achieving additional control objectives, for instance, robustness to parameter uncertainty and disturbance attenuation. An indirect adaptive control scheme based on input-output linearization is proposed in this paper. The scheme consists of a Hopfield network for process parameter identification and an adaptive sliding mode controller based on input-output linearization, which steers the system response into a desired configuration. A numerical example is presented for the trajectory tracking of uncertain nonlinear dynamic systems with slowly time-varying parameters.

  • This paper presents an adaptive neural dynamic surface control (DSC) approach with $H_{\infty}$ tracking performance for a full dynamics of a nonlinear flight system. It is assumed in this paper that model uncertainties such as structured and unstrutured uncertainties and external disturbances influence the nonlinear aircraft model. In our control system, self recurrent wavelet neural networks (SRWNNs) are used to compensate model uncertainties of the nonlinear flight system, and an adaptive DSC technique is extended for disturbance attenuation of the nonlinear flight system. From Lyapunov stability theorem, it is shown that $H_{\infty}$ performance from external disturbances can be obtained. Finally, we perform the simulation for the nonlinear six-degree-of-freedom F-16 aircraft model to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed control system.

  • In this paper, a new active noise control technique which combines a hybrid active noise control technique and a subband active noise control technique is presented. To reduce the computational burden the active noise control system, a weighted hybrid control technique is applied. This algorithm shows higher stability and good noise attenuation property in either broad band or narrow band active noise control systems in HVAC ducts. Computer simulations were performed to show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

  • In this paper we deal with that the performance indices by the three adaptive sampling control laws are computed and compared. It shows that the most effective control law is the integral input difference method. The techniques of simulation by Analog/Hybrid computer are presented and the results of the output illustrate that the maximum and minimum sampling interval can be applied to the time sharing of digital controller or computer.

  • In this study, the technique of adaptive control based on certainty equibalence for input-output linerization of nonlinear system is investigated. It is shown that the upper bound of the parameter estimation error can be represented more explicitly than Teel et al's works. Another direct approach, which shows that the adaptive input-output linearing control laws using the normalized identifier yield bounded tracking is also presented.

  • In this paper a robust controller using adaptive backstepping technique is proposed to control the speed of a wind turbine system. To make wind power generation truly cost effective and reliable, advanced and robust control algorithms are derived to on-line adjust the excitation winding voltage of the generator based on both mechanical and electrical dynamics. This method is shown to be able to achieve smooth and asymptotic rotor position tracking, as justified by analysis.
