중국인들의 한국음식의 적응과정 (The Adaptation Process of Korean Food for Chinese)

  • Diffusion of innovation theories have been used to explain the adaptation process of Chinese college students to Korean food. This study examined and compared Korean food adaptation among Chinese college students in Gyeonggido and Daejeon. A total of 141 Chinese college students were surveyed from August 01 to November supported by the Chinese Students Association in Gyeonggido. The results show that the adaptation process of Chinese college students to Korean food was different between Gyeonggido and Daejeon. Chinese college students did not have many opportunities to learn about Korean food and search information about Korean food. The adaptation process of Chinese college students to Korean food was different by residential type and period. The adaptation process of Chinese college students in Gyeonggido to Korean food was composed of three factors: interest-reinvention-adoption, awareness, and evaluation-trial-adoption. Three factors of the adaptation process of Chinese college students in Daejeon to Korean food were awareness-evaluationtrial, adoption-reinvention-trial, and interest.

학제에 따른 치위생(학)과 학생의 대학생활적응 비교 (College life adaptation among dental hygiene students)

  • Introduction: This study aimed to investigate the adaptation to college life of dental hygiene students. Methods: A total of 300 students in the 3-year course, and 200 students in the 4-year course at the Department of Dental Hygiene, were selected. A self-reported questionnaire was used between 27th June and 31st August 2017. From this, 439 questionnaires were collected and analyzed. Results: 1. The overall degree of adaptation to college life, according to varied general characteristics of the subject students, appeared to show that male students had a higher degree of adaptation than female students. It also appeared to be higher in students that had a higher level of academic accomplishment(<0.001). 2. The average score of the degree of adaptation to college life was 2.57 points(full score of 4.00 points). Social adaption had the highest score of 2.92 points, while academic adaptation had the lowest score of 2.37 points. Regarding the subordinate domains of adaptation to college life, the average score of attachment adaptation of students in the 3-year course of the Department of Dental Hygiene(2.69 points) appeared to be higher than that of students in the 4-year course(2.52 points). The difference between these scores was statistically significant(p=0.001). 3. The effects of varied academic systems upon the degree of adaptation to college life were also analyzed. Emotional and attachment adaptation to college, as well as the academic accomplishment of students in the 3-year course, was distributed over a range of 3.0~3.5. This was significantly different compared to students in the 4-year course(p<0.05). Conclusion: It is necessary to develop stepwise and continuous educational programs to enable better college life adaptation for students in the Department of Dental Hygiene.

대학생들의 병영생활적응과 대학생활적응 간의 관계: 투지 및 셀프리더십의 매개효과 (Relationship between Military Life Adaptation and College Life Adaptation among College Students: Mediating Effects of Grit and Self-leadership)

  • 본 연구에서는 대학생들의 병영생활적응 경험이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향에서 투지와 셀프리더십의 매개효과를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 대상자는 군 제대 후 복학한 남자 대학생 233명이었고, 평균 연령은 25세(SD=1.7)였다. 주요 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 병영생활적응과 투지, 셀프리더십 그리고 대학생활적응은 모두 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있었다. 둘째, 병영생활적응은 투지와 셀프리더십 및 대학생활적응에 유의한 정적 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 병영생활적응과 대학생활적응 간의 관계에서 투지는 유의한 매개효과가 있었다. 넷째, 병영생활적응과 대학생활적응 간의 관계에서 셀프리더십은 유의한 매개효과가 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 병영생활적응이 대학생들의 투지와 셀프리더십을 향상시키고, 이러한 개인의 성장이 복학 후 대학생활적응에 유의한 영향을 미친다는 것을 검증하였다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 병영생활과 대학생활에 대한 관계에 대해 논의하였다.

코로나19(COVID-19) 이후 뷰티학과 전문대 학생들의 회복탄력성과 대학생활적응의 관계에서 그릿(Grit)의 매개 효과 (Mediating Effect of Grit in the Relationship between Resilience and University Life Adaptation of College Students Majoring in Beauty after COVID-19)

  • This study investigates the effect of recovery elasticity of beauty college students on university life adaptation during COVID-19. Further, the mediating effect of grit in relation to recovery elasticity and university life adaptation is analyzed. Survey data of 223 students (female: 192; male: 31) were collected for multiple and intermediate regression analyses using SPSS 24.0. The results reveal a static correlation between the lower factors of resilience, glittery, and adaptation to college life and that the resilience of junior college students in the beauty department had a static effect on grit and their adaptation to college life. Passion, a subordinate factor of grit, is mediated by the effect of grit on the relationship between resilience and adaptation to university life. However, perseverance, another subordinate factor of grit, did not have any such mediating effect. These results confirm the importance of grit, particularly passion, for resilience and adaptation to college life. It was confirmed that resilience was due to college life adaptation of beauty department students, and it was confirmed that passion, a sub-factor of grit, also had a mediating effect. Therefore, it is judged that resilience induces physical and mental adaptation, interpersonal adaptation, and academic adaptation necessary for college life, and works in many ways to improve the quality of life of beauty department junior college students. Instructors should consider developing educational programs for improving recovery elasticity and grit to help students better adapt to university life.

작업치료 전공 대학생의 성격과 감각처리가 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Personality and Sensory Processing on College Life Adaptation in Students Majoring in Occupational Therapy)

  • Purpose : This study investigated the effects of personality and sensory processing on college life adaptation in students majoring in occupational therapy. Methods : We conducted a survey study on 251 college students from March to May 2023. Personality, sensory processing, and college life adaptation were measured through the international personality item pool, adolescent/adult sensory profile, and student adaptation to college questionnaire, respectively. The general characteristics of students were analyzed using frequency analysis, and differences in college life adaptation and sensory processing characteristics were analyzed using independent t-tests and one-way ANOVA. The relationship between personality, sensory processing, and college life adaptation scores was analyzed using Pearson correlation analysis. The impact of personality and sensory processing on college life adaptation was analyzed using multivariate regression analysis using SPSS 25.0. Results : Correlations of all five personality factors, except openness to experience, were observed with students' college life adaptation. According to sensory processing characteristics, differences in college life adaption showed significant differences in sensory avoidance, poor registration, and sensory sensitivity. The variance of college life adaptation explained by each factor (based on R2) were 46% by personality and 26% by sensory processing. Among personality traits, neuroticism had a negative effect on college life adaptation, agreeableness and extroversion had positive effects, and low registration during sensory processing had a negative effect. Conclusion : This study suggests the provision of various activities and creation of an environment for college students with low sensory registration and neurotic traits to encourage positive changes. The results can be used to design a program that helps college students adapt to occupational therapy majors.

농업계 특수목적대학생의 대학생활 적응이 진로정체감에 미치는 영향 (The Relationship of Career Identity and College Adaptation of Student at Agricultural Special Purpose Academies)

  • This study was conducted to describe the relationship of Career Identity and College Adaptation of student at agricultural special purpose academies. The participants were 335 college students in H city from November 2 to December 12 in 2016. The data was collected by questionnaires and was analyzed using SPSS 23.0. There was a significant positive correlation among Career Identity and College Adaptation of college students. It was found that the effect of Career Identity on College Adaptation was 42.0%. The results of this study provided a foundation to recognize importance of College Adaptation and to develop intervention program to improve College Adaption and Career Identity of student at agricultural special purpose academies.

치기공과 학생의 성격과 회복탄력성 및 대학생활 적응 관계 (Relationship between among personality type, resilience, and the college life of dental technology students)

  • Purpose: This study aims to examine the influence of personality types on recovery resilience and college life adjustment among dental technology students. Methods: The study recruited 165 students in colleges in some areas using convenience sampling. Data were processed through reliability analysis, frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, and correlation analysis. Moreover, linear regression analysis was performed to confirm the influence. Results: The results confirmed that the motivation for selecting a department exerted an effect on adaptation to college life and satisfaction with majors (p<0.05). Additionally, the finding indicated that personality type partially influenced resilience and adaptation to college life among dental technology students (p<0.05). Finally, the results of regression analysis on adaptation to college life found that resilience and satisfaction with majors were significant predictors of adaptation to college life (p<0.05). Conclusion: To improve adaptation to college life, increasing resilience and satisfaction with majors is necessary.

대학신입생의 대학생활적응 프로그램이 간호대학생의 대학생활적응, 간호전문직 태도에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of College Life Adaptation Program on Nursing Students College Life Adaptation and Nursing professional attitude)

  • 이 연구는 대학신입생의 대학생활적응프로그램이 간호대학생의 대학생활적응과 간호전문직태도에 미치는 효과를 규명하고자 하였다. 대학생활적응프로그램은 전공별 이론 실습과 교양 인성함양 2개 영역으로 구성하였으며, 대학입학 전 예비 신입생에게 2주 동안 주 5회 10회기동안 70시간 운영되었다. 자료분석은 paired t-test, ANOVA로 하였다. 연구결과로, 대학생활적응(t=11.42, p=<.000)과 간호전문직태도(t=12.45, p=<.000)는 대학생활적응 프로그램 후에 통계적으로 유의하게 증가하였다. 결론적으로 이 연구는 대학신입생의 대학생활적응과 간호전문직태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다.

DEU-GRIT을 활용한 군집화된 대학 신입생의 대학 생활 적응(학업, 사회, 정서 및 진로 적응) 특성 분석 연구: D 대학을 중심으로 (Characteristics of Academic-, Social-, Emotional-, and Career Adaptation to College Life among Clustered Freshmen Using DEU-GRIT: A Focus on D University)

  • 본 연구는 D 대학을 중심으로 DEU-GRIT 검사를 활용하여 대학 신입생의 대학 생활 적응 특성을 분석하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해, 대학 신입생의 성별과 전공 분야에 따른 대학 생활 적응 수준의 차이를 살펴보고, 대학 생활 적응의 중요한 영역인 학업, 사회, 정서, 진로 적응의 수준을 기반으로 군집화된 대학 신입생의 대학 생활 적응 특성을 살펴보았다. 그리고 DEU-GRIT 검사 규준을 바탕으로 대학 신입생 중 적응에 어려움을 겪는 하위 규준집단을 따로 분류하여 이들의 대학 생활 적응 특성도 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 정서 적응 수준에서 남학생이 여학생에 비해 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 학업 적응과 정서 적응 수준에서 과학기술 전공 분야 학생이 인문사회 전공 분야 학생에 비해 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 대학 생활 적응의 4개 영역 수준을 기준으로 군집 분석을 한 결과, 군집 1은 모든 영역의 적응 수준이 높았지만, 군집 3은 모든 영역의 적응 수준이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 군집 2는 정서 적응 수준이 높았지만, 군집 4는 정서 적응 수준이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 한편, DEU-GRIT 검사의 하위 규준집단에서는 학업 적응과 사회 적응 수준이 남학생보다 여학생에게서 높았으며, 대학 생활 적응 전체 및 학업 적응과 정서 적응 수준이 인문사회 전공 분야 학생보다 과학기술 전공 분야 학생에게서 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 하위 규준집단의 대학 생활 적응의 4개 영역 수준을 기준으로 군집 분석 한 결과, 하위 규준집단 군집 1은 정서 적응 수준이 높았으며, 하위 규준집단 군집 2는 정서 및 진로 적응 수준은 낮고 학업 및 사회 적응 수준은 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 하위 규준집단 군집 3은 모든 영역 수준이 낮았으며, 하위 규준집단 군집 4는 사회 및 정서 적응 수준이 낮고 학업 및 진로 적응 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 대학 신입생의 사회 및 정서 적응 측면에서 성별에 따라 맞춤화된 심리상담 프로그램의 개입이 필요하며, 전공 분야에 따라서는 취업 전망에 대한 기대의 높고 낮음에 따른 상대적 정서 개입의 필요성을 시사한다. 또한, 하위 규준집단의 대학 생활에서 정서 및 사회 적응은 대학 생활 적응의 보호 요인으로 작용할 가능성이 있어 이에 대한 구체적인 개입 방안을 고민할 필요가 있음도 시사한다.

보건계열 대학생의 생활스트레스가 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향과 건강증진 생활양식의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effects of Health Promoting Lifestyle in the Relationship between Life Stress and Adaptation to College Life of Health Department College Students)

  • The purpose of the study was to identify the mediating effects of health promoting lifestyle in the relationship between life stress and adaptation to college life of health department college students. The data was collected for 10 days form sept. 3 to 14, 2012. Among a total of 351 cases of questionaries, only 342 cases were used. To data were analyzed by frequency, t-test, ANOVA, correlation and a hierarchical multiple regression analysis as suggested by Baron and Kenny(1986) using PASW statistics 18.0. From the analyses, there was a negative relationship between life stress and adaptation to college life but a positive relationship between health promoting lifestyle and adaptation to college life. There was a partial mediating effect of health promoting lifestyle between life stress and adaptation to college life. The results indicate a need to develop programs that effectively promote the health promoting lifestyle of health department college students to decrease life stress and maximize adaptation to college life.
