This paper describes the up-grade of the turbine governor for steam turbine due to its poor operation from long time use. The analog type governor of the unit 1 in Kori nuclear power plant in Korea was removed and the new digital type turbine governor was developed and installed. The procedure for the actual application, site adaptability test using dynamic simulator and the result of actual operation are described here. And the program for nuclear steam turbine is suggested here.

There are two methods commonly used in design of splice plate connection of frame structure. The one is Design by Actual Stress which can sufficiently transfer actual force to an adjacent member using rows of bolts. The other is Design by Member Strength which is able to transfer total allowable stress of effective section area to a connected member. In real design, as a matter of convenience, Standard Connection Drawings have used according to Design by Member Strength. But this method underestimate connection force in shear connection where large connection moment occured. In this study, these Design methods are compared by connection moment in shear connections. and the adequate use of them are recommended. Also In order to evaluate more accurately the actual stress of splice plate of flange on moment. connection, a new calculation method of it is recommended.

A considerable amount of research has focused on the dimensionality of service failure and recovery construct. This paper is focused on service failure and recovery in the Korean native cattle and imported beef restaurant industry in the Korea. So, this paper has adapted Kau and Loh's Service recovery measurement scale so that restaurant managers can use it to determine how customers perceive the service quality in Korean native cattle beef restaurant and imported beef restaurant. The purpose of this research is to test the difference in pre-purchase expectation and post-purchase actual performance of 4 dimensions between the restaurants that sell the beef of Korean native cattle and imported cattle. The paired t -test is used to test difference of pre-purchase expectation and post-purchase actual performance for service recovery measurement scale's 4 dimensions of the 2 restaurant types. But, there is significant difference between pre-purchase expectation and post-purchase actual performance in the 2 restaurant types.

Recently high impedance fault(HIF), which includes arcing wave, has often occured in power system. Some papers related to arcing phenomena and its modeling have been published. However the proposed methods show much different form in compare with actual arc wave under HIF. It is not so available to use to analyze HIF because of such problem. This paper proposes the new arcing wave model, which is nearly similar to actual arcing wave, developed using PSCAD/EMTDC. The arcing waves obtained from arcing model that applied in actual. power system are compared with some actual arcing wave gained from the field test and show the availability to application of relay test.

The importance of the recent manufacturing industry have been made to invest in a lot of assistance and human resource development at the national dimension in which to rise again. However Learned in actual school education kinetic, and the use to how product design structural knowledge, Often it feels vague unlikely whether it is possible to derive an optimal product. In this study, by using the simulation-based Jansen Mechanism designed a walking robot, after optimization of the numerical consideration when designing for optimum walking motion, through simulation through the actual production resulting numerical information is examined whether valid. In addition, through the actual production was walking robot, to verify the validity of the simulation-based design.

In the actual sound environment, the random signal often shows a complex fluctuation pattern apart from a standard Gaussian distribution. In this study, an evaluation method for the sound environmnetal system is proposed in the generalized form applicable to the actual stochastic phenomena, by introducing two type information processing methods based on the regression model of expansion series type and the Fuzzy probability. The effectiveness of the proposed method are confirmed experimentally too by applying it to the observed data in the actual noise environment.

This paper considers option and non-use values of rail services. The total economic value of a given transport service can be classified into use, option and non-use values, other grouping rules can be applied though. The use value is the consumer's surplus from the actual rides of a specific mode. The option value, on the other hand, can be defined as a traveler's willingness to pay for reserving a travel mode, which is not his or her main choice, as a standby alternative. Finally, the non-use value represents benefits that are not attributable to the actual use or option use, but to the vicarious, altruistic, functional and existing worth of a transport service. A stated preference survey based on a double-bounded dichotomous choice is conducted. A survival model is applied to the data collected. Calculations of trip makers' willingness to pay for option and non-use values are based on the parameters of the estimated survival model. Some suggestions for transport appraisal are also presented.
