  • This study attempts to understand the Facebook advertising diffusion behavior in the situation of increasing consumer activeness. Especially, this study focuses on the influence of motives for using Facebook on Facebook advertising diffusion behavior. -Survey for 243 university students was executed after preliminary interview for extracting question items of motives for using Facebook.- This study finds that the experiencer of Facebook advertising diffusion behavior shows stronger motives for using Facebook than non-experiencer of Facebook advertising diffusion behavior. Logistic regression analysis was conducted to find out the impact of verified variables on Facebook advertising diffusion behavior. It was found that 'self-expression motive' influences on the all Facebook advertising diffusion behavior significantly. Based on the results, academic and practical implications are discussed.

  • This study aims to investigate the effects of foreign students' entrepreneurship on start-up recognition and intention. Due to the expanded policy of attracting foreign students with current Korean wave, it has rapidly increased the number of foreign students in Korea. The number of foreign students in Korea has increased from 50,000 up to 100,000 in 2012. Approximately half of number was resided in Seoul capital, surrounding satellite cities and followed by Kyeongsang, Chungcheong and Jeolla province regions. In this study, we examined the correlation of entrepreneurship with start-up recognition and intention of foreign students living in Daejeon city. The research model was constructed with entrepreneurship and start-up intention as independent and dependent variable, respectively, and start-up recognition as a moderating variable. Furthermore, the entrepreneurship of foreign students as independent variable contains innovativeness, pro-activeness, risk-taking and social responsibility. In the survey, we collected 119 responding foreign students belonging to KAIST, Chungnam National University and Hanbat National University and analyzed the correlations of these variables with 116 significant answers. To validate the hypotheses, linear regression analysis tool in SPSS program was used. As a result of the survey, entrepreneurship components such as innovativeness, pro-activeness, risk-taking and social responsibility affected start-up intention positively. In addition, start-up recognition as a moderating variable affected positively between entrepreneurship and start-up intention. However, it has the limitation to generalize the overall correlation of entrepreneurship with start-up recognition and intention for foreign students living in Korea because the survey was only performed in restricted Daejeon city area. Nonetheless, this study can be useful for understanding the foreign students's trait for entrepreneurship and planning the adequate entrepreneurship education.

  • Equipments to influence by external force have to take effect mechanical oscillation. These equipments regardless of the movement on the external force such as roll, pitch and heave etc, worked to keep the height of tote are required for activeness and needed a device as equipment's fluctuation for rapidly compensation. Because the actual development of these devices is difficult to cost-effectively, we were developed to compensation simulator scaled down 1/50. In this paper, we were studying kinematic characteristics, designed the simulator to grasp the point and manufactured. This paper was analyzed for confirming the superiority of compensation simulator and set up 50 ton crane in practice.

  • The importance of communities of practice(CoP) as an organizational informal unit for fostering knowledge transfer and sharing gains a lot of attention from KM researchers and practitioners. Since most of CoPs are formulated online these days, the credibility or trustworthiness of knowledge contents circulated within a certain CoP should be considered thoroughly for them to be fully utilized safely. Here comes the need for an appropriate trust measuring methodology to determine the true value of knowledge given by unknown people through an online channel. In this paper, an improved trust measuring method is proposed using new trust variables such as level of degrees derived from the relationships among community users. In addition, activeness, relevance, and usefulness of the knowledge contents themselves, which are calculated automatically using a text categorization technique, are also used for trust measurement. The proposed framework incorporates fuzzy set and calculation concepts to help build trust matrices and models, which are used to measure the level of trust involved in specific knowledge artifacts concerned.

  • As developing W industry, Enterprise environments are changed fast. As activeness is focused on an important factor in enterprise environment, mobile computing environment is being more popular. Workflow systems should be adapted to these changes because it takes change of automation of enterprise. So in this paper, I suppose an adaptive workflow system which covers all the types of client systems including mobile hosts and processes their works by capacity of each client

  • The active rule system is a key element of the rule-based mobile agent middleware system for activeness and autonomy of the sensor network. The rule manager, which is the main components of active rule based mobile agent framework and active rule system, performs the control and management of the rule-related processes. In this paper, we design and implement the roles and functions of the rule manager in detail. The proposed rule manager plays an important role in the sensor network environment. The sensor data server loads the active rule on the mobile agent by the rule manager according to the situations, and the mobile agent migrates to the destination node and performs the designated action. This active rule-based mobile agent middleware system presents the usefulness for the various sensor network applications. Through the rule execution experiment using the rule-based mobile agent, we show the adaptability and applicability of rule-based mobile agent middleware system to the dynamic environmental changes in sensor networks.

  • Transactions in real-time active databases have the notion of activeness where transactions are generated by external effects and another transaction. In this paper, we improve the real -time active concurrency control algorithm by applying Thomas' write rule and considering relationship between transactions fired by active rules. We also present the experimental results of our algorithm comparing other real-time active concurrency control algorithms. The experimental results show that our algorithm has superior performance with respect to the raio of transactions satisfying deadline.

  • In this paper, we propose a delay-dependent guaranteed cost controller design method for uncertain linear systems with time delay. The uncertainty is norm bounded and time-varying. A quadratic cost function is considered as the performance measure for the given system. Based on the Lyapunov method, sufficient condition, which guarantees that the closed-loop system is asymptotically stable and the upper bound value of the closed-loop cost function is not more than a specied one, is derived in terms of Linear Matrix Inequalities(LMIs) that can be solved sufficiently. A convex optimization problem can be formulated to design a guaranteed cost controller, which minimizes the upper bound value of the cost function. Numerical examples show the activeness of the proposed method.

  • The present research has created and evaluated contents capable of work appreciation visitors changing their viewpoints on their will by introducing mobile exhibition exposition devices (iPad) for large exhibition museum. Various exposition contents of usually invisible parts or those provided in accordance with user positions drew visitors' attentions and improved museum experience satisfaction. Utilization of digitalized exhibition information generated activeness in viewing and new communication between exhibition and a visitor instead of the conventional exhibition exposition.

  • Based on the value of the Lagrange multiplier and the degree of constraint activeness, a new update rule is proposed for penalty parameters of the ALM method. The theoretical exposition of this suggested update rule is presented by using the algorithmic interpretation and the geometric interpretation of the augmented Lagrangian. This interpretation shows that the penalty parameters can effect the performance of the ALM method. Also, it offers a lower limit on the penalty parameters that makes the augmented Lagrangian to be bounded. This lower limit forms the backbone of the proposed update rule. To investigate the numerical performance of the update rule, it is embedded in our ALM based dynamic response optimizer, and the optimizer is applied to solve six typical dynamic response optimization problems. Our optimization results are compared with those obtained by employing three conventional update rules used in the literature, which shows that the suggested update rule is more efficient and more stable than the conventional ones.
