제품디자인에 있어서 추상적 형태에 의한 어포던스에 관한 연구 (A Study on Affordance by Abstract Form in Product Design)

  • To improve usability and recognition of product, the term, Affordance, started to be known in the design world by US recognitive psychologist, Donald A. Norman, has the meaning of providing, Act inducement, Act motivation, Expectancy or what environment provides, etc., thus as one of Mental Model, providing ever more importance not only to the everyday life goods but to the time like these days when products for information overflow. Particularly, this study is oriented toward providing basic study framework on Affordance-like approach in pursuing psychological approach in design for changing the limitless phenomena involved in environment and human body and further for inquiring into source of idea from abstract form hint latent in act and further from the act conducted everyday while peoples are unconscious.

류마티스 관절염 환자의 재활동기에 대한 개념분석 (Concept Analysis of Rehabilitation Motivation in Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis)

  • Purpose: This study was to identify the attributes, antecedents, their consequences, and empirical indicators of rehabilitation motivation in rheumatoid arthritis patients. Methods: Walker and Avant's method was used to analyze the concept. Articles published after 1990 were searched in Medline, CINAHL, NSDL, and RISS databases using "rehabilitation", "motivation" and their combination as keywords. Results: The attributes of rehabilitation motivation are: 1) certitude and trust toward rehabilitation treatment; 2) confidence in the rehabilitation process; 3) efforts and commitments to achieve health goals; 4) psychological needs to act toward health recovery. Its antecedents include: 1) rights of self-determination; 2) goal setting and goal-oriented attitude; 3) personal needs; 4) getting rewards; 5) social and family support; 6) professional behavior of healthcare providers; and 7) least risks or costs for actions taken. Conclusion: The study results could be used as a conceptual framework for developing tools to measure the motivation of rheumatoid arthritis patients.

아동의 성취동기와 관련된 변인들: 어머니의 의사소통유형 및 정서적지지와 아동의 자아존중감 (Correlates of Children's Achievement Motivation: Mother's Conversation Pattern, Maternal Emotional Support, and Children's Self-Esteem)

  • The main purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among Mother's Conversation Patterns, Maternal Emotional Support, and Children's self-esteem and motivation to achieve. The subjects of the study were 262 children's in the 5th and 6th grades at an elementary school in Seoul and Gyeonggi. The major results of this study are as follows: The achievement motivation of female children was higher than that of male children. Second, the mother's conversation patterns, maternal emotional support and children's self-esteem were related to the children's achievement motivation. Third, according to the results of an examination of the relative influence of the variables, the child's self-esteem and mother's open communication had an effect on the child's achievement motivation. This high level of self-esteem and motivation to act positively led to high achievement motivation.

대인관계성향이 구매동기에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Interpersonal Orientation on Consumers' Buying Motivations)

  • In order to understand how consumers' buying motivation is formed, that is the starting point of consumer behavior or consumers' decision-making processes, we examined how the interpersonal orientation for consumers is organized to control buying motivation and create a stepping-stone for subjects' behavior in fast varied consumer environments. In addition, we examined what influence this interpersonal orientation has on consumers' buying motivations. The results are shown as follows: First, interpersonal orientation is classified into six categories, according to Cohen's three types, i.e., compliance, detachment I: emotion independence, detachment II: performance independence, detachment III: perception independence, aggressiveness I: competitiveness, aggressiveness II: aggressiveness. Second, based on our inspection of the relation between interpersonal orientation and consumers' buying motivations, for external motivation and internal motivation, the value of R2 in regression seems too low to act as an influencing power on interpersonal orientation, while in case of introjected motivation, identified motivation I: self respect, and identified II: pursuit of harmony, I there seems to be some relationship.

인터넷상에서의 개인정보 보호행동에 관한 연구: 보호동기이론을 중심으로 (A study of the User Privacy Protection Behavior in Online Environment: Based on Protection Motivation Theory)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 보호동기 이론을 기반으로 인터넷 사용자의 개인정보 보호행동의 변화를 설명하고, 사용자의 개인정보 권익을 보호하기 위한 방안에 대해 모색하는 것이다. 보호동기 이론은 위협메시지에 의한 보호행동의 변화과정을 설명하기 위한 대표적인 이론으로, 본 연구에서는 개인정보에 대한 위협과 개인정보 보호행동에 대한 개인의 인지적 평가가 보호동기를 형성하고 보호동기가 개인정보 보호행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 확인하였다. 또한 개인정보 권리보장 및 권리구제와 관련된 법제도를 반영하여서 개인정보 권리인지 변인을 개발하였다. 즉 개인정보 관련 법률이 개인정보 보호에 대한 인식이나 행동변화에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보았다. 본 연구는 선행연구들과 달리 법제도를 반영한 개인정보 권리인지 변인을 개발하여 개인정보 보호행동의 변화에 대해 분석하였다. 연구의 결과 개인정보 권리인지 변인이 개인정보 보호행동에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 요인으로 밝혀졌으며, 법제도를 통한 정보주체의 권리보장이 개인정보 보호행동을 촉진시키는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과가 추후 개인정보 관련 신규정책 확립에 있어서 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이라 생각한다.

Motivation Versus Intention of Sharing Fake News Among Social Media Users during the Pandemic - A SEM Model

  • Are intentions important in deciding the outcome of an action such as sharing misinformation among social media users during the pandemic? What is their role and how far they are important for the very act of fake sharing news? The social media users' actions on the social platform are determined by what they plan to do themselves; however, their motivation has an immense role to play in the dissemination of fake news on social media. The study proposes a conceptual model for understanding how select factors affect fake news sharing motivation and intentions of social media users. The study scrutinizes the relationship between content and context, fear of missing out (FoMO), news verification and news sharing gratification on the motivation and intention of social media users of networked Asian society. Empirical Data were drawn from social media users (N = 243) from India, using an online questionnaire based on prior studies and structural equation modeling (SEM) approach was used to analyze the data collected. Results indicate that news content, news verification, and news sharing gratification have a direct and positive relationship with sharing motivation. On the other hand, news context and content, FoMO and news sharing gratification have a positive significant relationship with sharing intention. Likewise, it was discovered that news verification will decrease sharing intention of the social media users. However, news context, that is the pandemic in the case of the present study and FoMO were not identified as determinant variables for sharing motivation among social media users. The research limitations and further scope were discussed.

MMORPG 아바타 커스터마이징의 변형 과정에서 플레이어 태도 연구 (Study of Player Attitudes Regarding MMORPG Avatar Customization in the Transformation Stage)

  • MMORPG users can create their own identity that they will use to act through in the virtual world utilizing the avatar creation system. The MMORPG customization process, divided into the creation and transformation stages, provides a sandbox for the identity play by users. In this study, analysis of the users' customization attitudes using the Q methodology especially in the transformation stage was conducted. The users' attitudes were found to be categorized into 4 types: 1) fulfilling attitude, 2) customization immersed attitude, 3) customization challenging attitude, and 4) community oriented attitude. Of particular interest are the immersed customization type, where the attitude is driven by the internal motivation of "self-satisfaction" unlike the fulfillment and community oriented attitudes which are driven by instrumental motivation of the avatar, and the continuous desire towards transformation revealed by the challenging customization attitude. This study provides valuable insight in the design perspective for developers in instilling critical immersion elements to the users while preparing to update the level.

IPA 분석 기법에 기초한 조리사의 직업 선택 동기에 따른 만족도에 관한 연구 (Study on Satisfaction with Career Choice Motivations for Chefs through IPA Analysis)

  • 본 연구에서는 어떠한 동기요인이 조리사에 대한 직업을 선택하게 하는 지에 대해 학술적인 고찰을 거쳐 직업선택 동기의 중요도와 만족도 간에 IPA 분석하고, 동기요인이 만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하였다. 조리사 직업선택 동기에 따른 만족도에 미치는 영향에서는 현실, 자기중심, 가치 등은 만족도에 유의적인 영향을 미치고 있지만, 안정은 만족도에 아무런 영향을 미치지 못했다. 따라서 회사를 운영하는 경영자는 직원들에게 승진의 기회 증가, 능력발휘 기회, 보상, 경력개발, 근무환경 개선 등을 통하여 종사원들이 안정적으로 근무할 있도록 동기 부여를 해야 할 것이다. 뿐만 아니라 기업체에서 운영하는 영업장이나 특급호텔에서는 개인이 운영하는 영업장과는 달리 초과수당, 세탁서비스, 직원식당, 야근수당, 40시간 근무 등 근로기준법이 적용하여 운영하지만, 아직까지는 기업체가 아닌 개인이 운영하는 개인운영업장이나 신규오픈한 대부분의 호텔들은 그렇지 못하기 때문에 후생복리의 중요도가 낮게 나타났고, 이직율이 높은 것으로 예상된다.

학습부진학생의 자기조절학습요인이 학습동기에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Self-Regulated Learning Factors on Learning Motivation on Underachiever)

  • 20세기 중반 이후 교육현장에서 지속적으로 제기되어온 대표적인 주제가 학습부진 문제해결이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 자기조절학습요인을 인지, 동기, 행동조절로 구성하고, 학습부진 대학생의 학습동기인 내적가치, 자기효능, 호기심 및 자신감에 미치는 어떠한 영향을 살펴보았다. 연구는 창원시 소재 A대학교의 학습부진 상담프로그램에 참여한 대학생을 대상으로 하여 조사를 행하였다. 연구 결과 자기조절학습요인은 학습동기에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학습조절요인은 자기효능감에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 학습조절요인은 호기심 및 자신감에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통하여 다양한 요인이 통합적으로 학습과정에 작용하므로 상호작용을 고려한 종합적인 지도체제가 필요함을 확인하였다. 구체적인 방법으로는 인지적 동기적 행동적 요소들을 참고하여 동기수준을 강화시킬 수 있는 학습상담 프로그램 개발이 시급하다 하겠다.

발명영재교육 운영체제별 초등 발명영재 수업내용 및 수업활동 분석 (Characteristics of Learning Contents and Activities According to the Invention Education Managerial System for the Gifted at Elementary School Level)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze elementary school students' class contents and activities between the invention class for the gifted under the local education office by the 'Gifted Education Promotion Act' and that under the invention classroom by the 'Invention Promotion Act'. For this study, the survey was conducted to 1,788 elementary school students who attended the invention class for the gifted both under the local education office and under the invention classroom. The analysis of the survey showed that the students of the invention class for the gifted under the local education office had higher motivation and participation rate in class, higher interest in invention, and stronger significantly in a future oriented will than those under the invention classroom. The parents of the invention class for the gifted under the local education office showed more enthusiastic attitude to support their students, and had significantly stronger recognition that the participation of the students in the invention education for the gifted helped enter an advanced school than those under the invention classroom. However, the class contents of the invention class for the gifted under the local education office such as 'understanding the influence of the invention history and products on society', 'scientific inquiry skills for problem solving', 'technological and engineering abilities for creating an invention', 'developing knowledge and abilities about business and management by using a new invention' were not different from those under the invention classroom. In addition, discussion and presentation were not active in the class activities of the invention class for the gifted under the local education office. Therefore, the researchers should compensate and develop a program which can apply strategically differentiated class contents and class activities to the students who participate in the invention class for the gifted under the local education office by the 'Gifted Education Promotion Act'.
