파워흐름유한요소법을 이용한 진동음향 연성해석 연구 (Research on Vibro-acoustic Coupled Analysis using Power Flow Finite Element Method)

  • To predict vibrational energy density of simple structural-acoustic coupled systems in medium-to-high frequency ranges, Power Flow Finite Element Method(PFFEM) is used, and PFFEM sofiware, PFADS has been developed for the vibration predictions and analysis of coupled system structures in medium-to-high frequency ranges. However, it needs to consider vibro-acoustic coupled analysis to get more accurate results. Prior to implement vibro-acoustic coupled analysis functions in PFADS, research on vibro-acoustic coupled analysis using PFFEH is performed for simple models. These predictions include the indirect transmission path associated, and also the direct transmission path, and the formulation is extended to structural system model by using appropriate modifications to structural-acoustic and acoustic-acoustic joint matrices. Concerning the waves in plate and acoustic, it is possible to calculate the structural-acoustic full matrix of a model using PFFEM, and the formulations developed are implemented for two rooms surrounded by plates.

  • For the reduction and efficient management of railway noise, first of all prediction of railway noise is necessarily requested, At home and abroad, many studies for prediction of railway nearby noise have been accomplished, But it is impossible to predict exactly for the Korean Railroad, because the acoustic power DB for each rolling stock used in Korea has not been builded yet. So in this study, acoustic power DB for each Korean rolling stock such as Samaeul, Mugungwha was builded according to the speed and rail support systems. Predicted results using accumulated acoustic power DB are compared with measured results and it is known that accumulated acoustic power DB can be used for more precise prediction of railway nearby noise.

  • Present paper deals with turbulence-airfoil interaction noise and mainly investigates the effects of airfoil thickness on the broadband noise spectrum. The acoustic power radiation from an airfoil is predicted using high-order time-domain method, which is based on the computational aeroacoustic technique solving the linear Euler equations. The homogeneous and isotropic turbulence is generated by utilizing the synthetic turbulence modeling based on random particle method. The airfoils taken into consideration are a flat-plate and a NACA0012 airfoil aligned with uniform mean flow. The effects of airfoil thickness on the radiated inflow turbulence noise are investigated by comparing acoustic power spectrum predicted for each airfoil. The comparison of acoustic power spectrum reveals that the airfoil thickness significantly contributes the high frequency noise reduction.

  • The acoustic power is a major acoustical characteristic of an underwater vehicle and could be measured in a reverberant water tank. In order to obtain accurate measurement results, the acoustic field formed by the sound source should be investigated quantitatively in the reverberant water tank. In this research, the acoustic field of a reverberant water tank containing an underwater sound source has been analyzed by using an acoustic radiosity method one of the numerical analysis methods suitable for the acoustic analysis of the highly diffused space. The source level of the underwater sound source and acoustical properties of the water tank input to the numerical analysis have been estimated by applying the reverberant tank plot method through a preliminary experiment result. The comparison of the numerical analysis result with that of the experiment has verified the accuracy of the acoustic radiosity method.

  • 음향 변환기용 외부 회로를 구성할 때, 파워 앰프의 내부저항이 매우 작은 경우 정합 회로를 구성하기 보다는 부하측의 역률을 개선하는 것을 선호 한다. 기존 연구의 결과를 살펴 보면 광대역에서 최대 파워를 전달하게 하는 정합회로를 구하는 방법을 많이 연구되어 왔으나, 두 개의 공진점을 갖는 광대역 전기 음향 변화기에 적용할 만한 광대역 역률 개선용 튜닝 회로를 구성하는 방법은 논문화된 결과는 드물다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 정합회로 설계에서 사용하는 체비세프 설계법을 기본으로 하여, 좀 더 낫은 결과를 가질 수 있도록 하는 복합 최적화 과정을 제안한다.

  • This Paper present prediction Vehicle Interior Noise using ATF(Acoustic Transfer Function) and engine radiated sound power. This is useful tool to qualifying the effectiveness of Air-borne noise Path. Furthermore This method provide acoustic package performance of the vehicle and able to prepare frequency band to same segment or benchmarking vehicle.

  • We present a novel fault diagnosis methodology using acoustic sensor systems and neural independent component analysis for large-scaled power machines. Acoustic sensors are carried out to measure sounds generated from power machines whose signal is used to determine whether fault is occurred or not. Acoustic measurements are independently mixed and deteriorated from original source signals. We propose a demixing algorithm against such mixed signals by means of independent component analysis which is achieved based on information theory and higher-order statistics to derive learning mechanism.

  • The acoustic power reduction methods of the vibrating structures are valid to design the quite structure. To calculate the acoustic power, the dynamic responses have to be determined. It is not easy to analyse the structure composed of the corrugated panels. Because of the structural complexity and the many analysing times. To make up for these defects, the equivalent orthogonal panel is presented. Also the acoustic power prediction method of the vibrating structures is proposed. As examples, the equivalent material properties of the corrugated plates are obtained and the acoustic powers of the floor structure are calculated at several frequency regions for KHST.

  • The possibility of global noise reduction by the sound power control through selection of distribution and impedance of absorptive materials is discussed. It is necessary to investigate the relation between the global sound energy in the field and the total sound power radiated by sources. In the previous work,$^{(1.2)}$ the authors presented a useful design method to change boundary condition that can be useful to reduce noise in acoustically small enclosures. Changing boundary condition Is related to not only enclosure’s geometrical shape but also acoustical treatment on walls for example, attaching of impedance patches (ex: absorptive material). In many practical situations, we often meet situation to change acoustical treatment on walls. The possibility of total acoustic potential energy(globa1 noise) reduction by acoustic source power control is examined in an acoustically small cavity Using acoustic energy balance equation, the relation between global noise control performance and absorptive material’s arrangement/impedance is deduced. Numerical simulation is performed to interpret its physical meaning in terms of absorbent’s distribution and impedance.
