The purpose of this paper is to review the moderating effect of social support on the relationship between job stress responses(physiological response, psychological response, behavioral response) and occupational accidents/illness. Based on the responses from 187 employees in small & medium manufacturing industry, hierarchical regressional analysis showed that physiological response has positive relationship with accidents and illness, and psychological response has positive relationship with accident. Social support has partly moderating effect on the relationship between job stress responses and occupational accidents/illness.

최근 우리나라 연근해에서 발생한 몇 건의 대형 해양사고에서, 신속하고 체계적인 초기대응이 사고 전개양상과 사고결과에 얼마나 큰 영향을 미치는지를 확인하였다. 또한, 이를 통해 다양한 해양사고 상황에 대한 정확한 정보와 전개될 수 있는 시나리오, 적용 가능한 사고대응 방법들에 대한 정보를 신속하게 확보하는 것이 해양사고 초기대응을 위하여 무엇보다 중요함을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 현실적인 문제를 해결하기 위한 일환으로, 본 연구에서는, '위험도기반 초기대응 지원 시스템'의 개념을 제시하고, 해양사고 이후 전개 가능한 모든 시나리오와 적용 가능한 사고대응 방법들을 식별하기 위하여 사건전개 시나리오 식별 브레인스토밍 기법을 제안하였으며, 식별된 사고대응 방법들의 적용으로 인한 피해저감 효과 등을 정량화하기 위하여 사건수목분석 (Event Tree Analysis: ETA) 기법을 활용한 사건전개수목을 제안하였다. 그리고 각각의 사고대응 방법에 대한 상세분석을 위해서는 PERT/CPM의 사용을 제안하였다. 또한, 상기 제시한 위험도기반 초기대응 지원시스템의 구성 체계를 설명하기 위하여, 유조선 좌초사고에 대한 사고대응 작업을 예로 간략한 위험도분석 작업을 수행하였다.

This paper contains that the current emergency response procedure through the railroad accident type at domestic and foreign, and the response program which is more systematic as a result of improving weaknesses. Because the response program at home is less sufficient than developed country's, we have made an investigation into system of classification in America, British, Germany, Japan for organizing separate emergency response code. we have researched the recognition response of five senses for minimizing the accident damage in a way of spreading the emergency response type analyzed through the accident procedure according to the feature of five senses by the first recognizer. Based on the first recognitions response of five senses, the scenario has been established according to each types and the criteria of accident has been researched through classifying the recognition of five senses response level, early response level, self-response level, outside support level.

In this study, we developed a system for information sharing and cooperation support system among the accident response organizations to enable prompt and efficient response in responding to chemical accidents. In other words, by applying mobile messenger function, it is proposed to improve the chemical accident response system that provides information necessary for accident response promptly and accurately, and facilitates bi-directional communication between accident response organizations and field responders, thereby enabling efficient and organic response. As a result of comparing the information provision time before and after the chemical accident of chemical accident response information sharing system, the ratio of processing of substance information and chemical air diffusion information within 30 minutes was improved by 8% and 32%, respectively. As a result of this study, applying the chemical accident response information sharing system to the chemical accident response is expected to contribute to the improvement of the system and the ability to cope with the accident more effectively.

It is true that Aircraft accident investigation organization of Republic of Korea does not have independent role structurally and administratively. Also, in the event of an aviation accident it does not take the appropriate response and post-institutional measures for victims and their families support. With aware of this fact and to improvement this research paper present approach direction and suggestion of issues and implications for those by researching the operational practices of the United State's Victim Family support.

Although a number of chemical accidents have been occurred in South Korea, the effective prevention act for soil contamination has not been established so far. To effectively protect soil contamination from chemical accidents, decision support laws and regulations are absolutely essential. Regarding this situation, this study was aimed at diagnosing problems in current chemical safety management and prevention and response system against chemical accidents through analyzing the domestic and foreign causes of chemical accidents and the accident response procedures and finally suggesting policy measures for solving those problems. In order to clarify management of soil contamination by chemical accident, this study suggests the establishment of chemical accident preparedness, response, and making of local chemical management law and policy. This law needs to be supported by a clear management framework to guide government officials and all other stakeholders in the management of soil contamination by chemical accident.

In many cases, the result of a road traffic accident can be described with more than one response variables. Nonetheless, most of the existing road accident data analysis deal with only one response variable and try to explain why it occurs. In this paper, we train association rules for a set of more than two response variables conditional on personal, environmental and vehicular/behavioral aspects of accident. Association rules are derived at 8% support and 70% confidence from the 1996 data of three police stations in Korea. We expect that these rules can contribute to effective safety practice in Korea.

There are a lot of uncertainties in the severe accident phenomena and scenarios in nuclear power plants (NPPs) and one of the major issues for severe accident management is the reduction of these uncertainties. The severe accident management aid system using Probabilistic Safety Assessments (PSA) technology is developed for the management staff in order to reduce the uncertainties. The developed system includes the graphical display for plant and equipment status, previous research results by a knowledge-base technique, and the expected plant behavior using PSA. The plant model used in this paper is oriented to identify plant response and vulnerabilities via analyzing the quantified results, and to set up a framework for an accident management program based on these analysis results. Therefore the developed system may playa central role of information source for decision-making for severe accident management, and will be used as a training tool for severe accident management.
