  • In a cloud computing environment, a cryptographic service allows an information owner to encrypt the information and send it to a cloud server as well as to receive and decode encrypted data from the server which guarantees the confidentiality of shared information. However, if an attacker gains a coded data and has access to an encryption key via cloud server, then the server will be unable to prevent data leaks by a cloud service provider. In this paper, we proposed a key management server which does not allow an attacker to access to a coded key of the owners and prevents data leaks by a cloud service provider. A key management server provides a service where a server receives a coded public key of an information user from an owner and delivers a coded key to a user. Using a key management server proposed in this paper, we validated that the server can secure the confidentiality of an encryption key of data owners and efficiently distribute keys to data users.

  • A message server have two basic functionalities, a server role for processing the processing the user environment as well as an entity role for transferring message to other entity in message system environment. The user who is going to send and receive his important information really wants to keep his own security requests. To satisfy this requirement, message server must be enforced by two seperated security policies- one for message processing security policy under department's computer working environment, the other for send/receive security policy under message system's communication path environment. Proposed access control model gurantees the user's security request by combining constrained server access control and message system access control with multi upper bound properties which come from inheritance attributes of originating user security contexts.

  • With the development of Information Communication Technique, electronic commerce is widely used in Internet using public key certificates. And the study on access control for web server or database server is also progressed actively. In this paper, we analyze the proposed access control method for server and the binding method between public key certificates and attribute certificates using OCSP server.

  • This paper aims to provide information to generate a statistical load model of an educational server by analyzing workload of an e-Learning sewer at Dankook University. The result of the analysis shows file size distribution, access frequency and transmission volume for each file type, access interval, changes in preference and clients access rate by networks. In particular, it had different results from previous studies about video file's size distribution and file distribution based on access frequency. This is because the characteristics of e-learning are influenced by using authoring tools for making into video file and by freeing the number of students who register for a course. The result in this paper can be used as a basic data for studies designed to improve e-learning system architecture and server performance.

  • CAN communication developed for communication between electric control devices in vehicle, was recently applied to automatic breaking devices, and can also be applied to field bus for production automation. Recently, field bus is introduced in engine control etc., for large ship. In this paper, cabin access control system is implemented, based on CAN communication. The cabin access control system based on CAN communication consists of access control server, embedded system based on ARM9, and micro-controller built-in CAN controller. The access control server can be able to manage overall access control system by accessing with manager. And embedded system adopted ARM9 processor transmits access information of RFID reader controller connected with CAN networks to server, also performs access control. The embedded system carry CAN frames to server, so it is used as gateway.

  • This paper describes a DAVIC based VoD service system that allows access via the Web, taking advantage of the wide availability of Web browsers. A simple access mechanism of a DAVIC based VoD system, using a Web browser is adopted on the proposed system. The client and VoD server are compliant with DAVIC, a user can access the VoD server simply by selecting the Web server's address via a Web browser. A menu enables the user to select VCR-like buttons, to establish an S2 control flow and to send the commands contained in the buttons to the VoD server. A simple implementation shows the feasibility of the proposed approach.

  • With the emergence of serverless computing paradigm and the innovations of cloud technology, the structure of backend server infrastructure has evolved from on-premises to container-based serverless computing. However, an access control on the server still heavily relies on the traditional SSH protocol, which poses limitations in terms of security and scalability. This hampers user convenience and productivity in managing server infrastructure. A web shell is an interface that allows easy access to servers and execution of commands from any device with a web browser. While hackers often use it to exploit vulnerabilities in servers, we pay attention to the high portability of web shell technology for server management. This study proposes a novel proxy-based server management framework utilizing web shell technology. Our evaluation demonstrates that the proposed framework addresses the drawbacks of SSH without additional overhead, and efficiently operates large-scale infrastructures in diverse computing environments.

  • WebDAV is an IETF standard protocol which supports asynchronous collaborative authoring on the Web. The WebDAV Access Control Protocol provides various methods of controlling the resources on a WebDAV server and their properties, helping high-level group activities to be performed through the WebDAV server. In this paper, to provide high level collaboration, we introduce a technique for managing access control over WebDAV resources through the WebDAV Access Control Protocol and describe the development of an access control manager for the CoSlide Collaborative system based on the technique. To provide users with the access control features in an easily understandable manner, the developed technique presents the privileges for performing WebDAV methods instead of the standard privileges in the WebDAV Access Control Protocol. In addition, we present the facility for detecting conflicts between new access privileges on resources and old access privileges on them. We applied the method-based access control management technique to the CoSlide collaborative system. The developed access control manager enables us to create group workspaces with flexible access control strategies for group members and resources.

  • When we execute a online game in the network, a lots of game informations and user informations are transfered between game server and game clients. This information has deferent data structure and communication protocol. So, game developers will be design the communication protocols and packet structures after analyze the game. And, they will be design the database for user management. It will be lots of overload to the game developers. From a user point of view, they must be register to each game server to use several games. It is a undesible operation for the game users. This problems are solved by using the communication server which operates commonly with several game servers. Game providers can get the benefit of multiple access of users and get freedom from user management. Game users can access the several games which connected to communication server by register the communication server only. In this paper we design the communication packet and propose a communication protocol which operates on the communication server described previous.
