배전용 피뢰기의 가속열화시험 (Accelerating aging test of distribution lightning arresters)

  • This paper presents a new accelerating aging test facility for distribution lightning arresters. Aging parameters of lightning arrester are moisture ingress, electrical stress and surge absorption and so on. In this system, we applied 13.2kV to 6 samples and controled temperature and humidity of chamber and measured leakage currents of the all samples. Also we developed accelerating aging cycle which consists of -35$^{\circ}C$∼90$^{\circ}C$ temperature and 40%∼90% humidity. Through the aging test we found out the leakage current of aged sample increases rapidly according to the temperature rising. Hereafter we can determine the replacement guide of leakage current for field operating arresters and condition assessment of aged samples through this aging test.

전기기기의 발열을 고려한 다단계 가속열노화 방법 (Multi-phase Accelerating Test Method of Thermal Aging Considering Heat Generation of Electric Equipment)

  • Thermal aging test is performed to qualify the life time of equipment in thermally aged condition. Due to long life time more than 10 years like as in power plant, the equipment is subjected to the accelerated thermal aging condition which is able to shorten the long aging test period by increasing aging temperature. Normally, conservatism of thermal aging test causes to impose unbalanced and excessive thermal load on components of the equipment, and deformation and damage problems of the components. Additionally, temperature rise of each component through heat generation of the electric equipment leads to long-term problem of the test period. Multi-phase accelerating aging test is to perform thermal aging test in multiple aging conditions after dividing into groups with various components of equipment. The groups might be classified considering various factors such as activation energy, temperature rise, glass transition temperature and melting temperature. In this study, we verify that the multi-phase accelerating aging test method can reduce and equalize the thermal over load of the components and shorten aging test time.

송전용 자기재 애자의 성능평가 및 가속열화시험 (Study on Performance and Aging Test of Porcelain Insulators for Transmission Line)

  • The suspension insulators are subjected to harsh environments in service for a long time. The long-term reliability of tile insulators is required for both mechanical and electrical performances. This study describes some basic performance tests and accelerated aging test by cool-heat cycling methods and thermal mechanical performance test methods on alumina porcelain insulators (new and aged) used for transmission line in KOREA. There was no fail in electrical and mechanical performance tests such as a high voltage strength, a flashover voltage, and an impact strength in all samples. But in the case of accelerating aging tests which have above 9$0^{\circ}C$ temperature gradient, fracture phenomena was happened by a thermal shock in tile aged sample(sample A) with low alumina porcelain body. It was indicated that sample A was more severely aged than other samples. According to results of HRB test and microstructural analysis, it was reasoned that insulator bodies with the matrix reinforced with alumina crystalline phase have advantages over the suppression of crack advance. And cool-heat aging and mechanical thermal ageing tests shows that a temperature gradient is more effective to accelerating than a cycling number.

  • 열적 특성은 에너지 물질 분야에서 중요한 특성 중 하나로, 에너지 물질 분해 시 분해열을 방출하기 때문에 DSC(시차 주사 열량계, Differential Scanning Calorimetry)를 자주 사용하고 있다. 승온속도를 달리한 DSC 측정의 경우, 용융과 같은 열역학적 변화로 인해 물질의 열적 측정에 방해를 준다. 또한 kg 단위로 예측하기 때문에 mg 단위 때와는 다른 공간상의 열 변화의 변수가 생긴다. 이번 연구에서는 이 문제점을 해결하는 방안으로, 등온 조건으로 한 DSC(Differential Scanning Calorimetry) 기초 데이터로 ATKS thermokinetic 프로그램을 이용하여 열적 노화 특성을 예측한다. 그리고 g 단위로 측정하는 ARC(Accelerating Rate Calorimetry)의 데이터를 이용하여 열적 노화 특성을 예측하고 결과를 비교 할 것이다.

탄소섬유/에폭시 복합재 링 시편의 노화 특성 평가 (Aging Characteristics of Carbon Fiber/Epoxy Composite Ring Specimen)

  • 가속노화장치를 이용하여 노출시간에 따른 탄소섬유/에폭시 복합재 링 시편의 노화 특성을 평가하였다. 온도, 수분, 자외선 등의 복합적인 노출조건은 최대 3000시간까지 적용하였다. 노출시간에 따른 링 시편의 인장특성과 곡률의 영향이 고려된 굽힘특성은 하중시험장치를 이용하여 평가하였으며 노화표면은 전자현미경을 통해 관찰하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 인장강성은 환경인자의 노출시간에 큰 영향을 받지 않지만 인장강도는 노출 초기에 물리시효 현상과 경화 반응으로 다소 증가하지만 노출시간이 길어지면 열화 영향으로 감소하였다. 굽힘탄성계수와 굽힘강도는 노출초기에 다소 증가하지만 노출시간이 길어지면 감소하는 양상을 나타내었다. 또한 전자현미경을 통해 관찰된 노화표면은 환경인자의 노출시간에 따라 달라지기 때문에 환경인자의 노출시간에 따른 기계적 특성의 변화를 규명하기 위한 정보를 제공해 준다.

고령화에 따른 지방재정의 동태성 분석 (A Study on the Dynamics of the Local Government Finance in Accordance with the Aging Population)

  • This paper aims at investigating the dynamics between aging population and local finance. In recent years, the aging rate has been accelerating the pace. The trend implies that Korea is moving towards the aging society, presumably, with unprecedented speed in the world. Aging society's biggest problems are centered around the explosive growth of the financial needs. In particular, these problems are apt to appear more seriously in local governments, as most of them are confronted with high level of aging population and poor financial bases. Firstly, it analyzes how the population structure in the local government impacts local finance, income and expenditure. Based upon in-depth literature reviews, this study examines variables related to aging population and local fiance. Secondly, it focuses on a series of positive and negative feedback loops which would reveal the essence of the mutual interaction structure between aging population and local governments' fiscal behaviors.

  • In this paper, the complex accelerating degradation of traction motor driven with VVVF controlled inverter were performed on the form coil samples with the 200 Class insulation system. in order to evaluate the reliability and the long-term life. After aging, the dielectric and PD properties were investigated on the 10 cycles aging sample in the range of $20{\sim}160[^{\circ}C]$ and AC $250{\sim}2250[V]$ to diagnosis the condition of end-life and find the dominative factors of degradation.

  • This paper provides the results of accelerated aging test of 18kV ZnO lightning arresters to investigate the leakage current characteristics. It was impossible to establish the replacement criterion for field operating lightning arrester because conventional aging test was only focused on the aging of ZnO elements. In general, it is possible to replace the aged arresters before the failure in the field using the leakage current measurement because it must be increased by the aging. But we can not use the method because we don't know the characteristics of the installed lightning arresters. Therefore in this paper we applied operating voltage and accelerating cycle which consists of temperature and humidity to the arresters. Then we measured the variation of total and resistive leakage current and found out the characteristics of the acted lightning arresters.

  • In this paper, the technology for accelerating degradation & life estimation on the traction motor was introduced with the stator form-winding sample coils of the 200 Class insulation system The accelerative degradation was performed in 10 cycles, which were composed of thermal stress, fast rising surge voltage, vibration, water immersion and overvoltage applying. After aging of 10 cycles, condition diagnosis test such as insulation resistance & polarization index, capacitance & dielectric loss and partial discharge properties were investigated in the temperature range of $20{\sim}160^{\circ}C$. Relationship between degradation conditions and diagnosis results were analyzed to find an dominative degradation factor at the end-life point

  • In this paper, the testing equipment for evaluating aging characteristics of outdoor silicone rubber insulator resulting from the environmental aging effect with regards to sunlight(UV) was developed. Influence of sunlight effect aging is seriously increase due to destruction of ozone layer which is occurred by consumption of fossil fuel. For this purpose, silicone rubber was aged under the artificial sunlight by exposure of xenon lamp radiation in the accelerating aging chamber and various test and analysis were performed such as breakdown strength, contact angle. And FT-IR analysis has been followed.
