최근 학술정보를 보다 체계적으로 관리하고, 세계화하려는 노력들이 범국가적인 차원에서 진행되고 있으며, 이에 따라 다양한 기관에서 학회지의 국제화를 위한 노력을 지원하고 가이드라인을 만들어 제시하고 있다. 학술지가 세계화되기 위해서는 온라인 심사 시스템의 도입과 학회지에 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 웹싸이트의 개설 그리고 학술지의 영문화가 필요하며, 또한 이에 걸맞는 연구자들의 윤리 의식도 뒷받침 되어야 한다. 본 글을 통하여 저자는 현재 대한소아치과학회지의 실태를 점검해보고, 앞으로 우리 학회가 지향해야할 바를 점검해 보았다.

An academic article is normally cited within a few years of publication, after which interest falls off as the research field moves on. However, an article is sometimes ignored for many years only to attract interest after a long period of dormancy. Such articles are called "Sleeping Beauties." A general characterization of this pattern has recently been defined and is used in this study to identify five Sleeping Beauties that were published by researchers at the University of Waterloo in the 1970s and 1980s. While a handful of studies have examined the occurrence of such Sleeping Beauties in specific fields of research or in a particular journal, none has yet identified these unusual articles in the context of the lasting impact of a university's research. This study is therefore a novel application of the latest technique for identifying Sleeping Beauties. The possibilities for using this unusual citation pattern in raising the profile of a university's research are discussed.

Life nurturing medicine mentioned in this paper refers to medical practice based on health preservation. This practice embraces alimentotherapy, respiration practice, qi gong, lacking food method as well as preventive medicine and geriatrics based on this theory. This life nurturing practice are noticeable through korean history. There were Korea own's xianjia(仙家) yangseng practice which after the transmission of Taoistic yangseng, it has been developed to take a field in medicine. The first publication that proofs this unification of life nurturing practice and medicine is Donguibogam ("東醫寶鑑"). Life nurturing method took more proportion in medical practice as medical books emphasized on preventive medicine like Yiyangpyun("二養編"), Boyangji were published distinguishing from other field of medicine.

This paper presents at the characteristics of publications in the Journal of Astronomy and Space Sciences from 1984 to 2018. Since its first publication, a total of 1,113 papers (~35 volumes) have been published up to December 2018. While the space astronomy field has made up a large portion of the total number of papers, the number of annually published papers in this field is decreasing. In contrast, the number of papers in the space environment field has been showing an increasing trend since 2013, accounting for more than 30% of the annual publications. The participation rate of foreign researchers has been maintained at greater than 20% since 2012. Despite the decrease in the number of paper per year, there are positive developments including sustained foreign researcher participation at greater than 20% and improvements in the impact factor. We believe that JASS has the potential to enter the distinguished level of international academic journals following a well-developed future road map.

International trade theory is largely divided into the pure theory of international trade and the theory of trade policy. The pure theory of international trade is an academic field that conducts research related to the trade flow of goods and services between countries and the movement of production factors across borders. Meanwhile, the theory of trade policy studies the positive and normative aspects of trade policy which a government adopts to achieve its policy goals. In this study, about 230 papers in the field of international trade theory published in the Korea Trade Review over the past 45 years (1975~2019) are examined in meta analysis by period and subject. First, this study provides the main research subjects of international trade theory, and historically reviews the overall development of trade theory by paying attention to the core and pioneering papers, domestic and foreign. Second, the publications in the field of trade theory are classified by subject, and the domestic and foreign research trends are also examined for each subject with the analysis of major publication of this Journal.

Purpose: The aim of this study is to identify highly cited articles and examine trends and characteristics in research on periacetabular osteotomy. Materials and Methods: The 50 most highly cited articles on periacetabular osteotomy research were identified using Scopus. Data regarding article demographics and publication were collected from each article and an analysis was performed. Results: The mean citation count was 125±37. The article with the highest total citation count (796), five-year citation count (327), and five-year citation density (65/year) was reported by Reinhold Ganz. The five-year citation density showed strong correlation with total citation density (r=0.930, P<0.001). Reinhold Ganz, the most productive author, was listed on 13 articles in the cohort with 455 weighted citation points. Conclusion: This study provides a collection of articles examining periacetabular osteotomies and demonstrates that citation count can be regarded as an acceptable measure of the contemporary academic influence of an article.

Purpose: This study was a meta-analysis designed to identify effects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) interventions in alleviating main symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) among school-aged children in Korea. Methods: Examination of several databases including Research Information Sharing Service, Korean Studies Information Service System, Data Base Periodical Information Academic and hand-searched article references, resulted in identification of 1,298 studies done between 2000 and 2013 of which 21 met the inclusion criteria. Comprehensive Meta-Analysis version 2.0 was used to analyze effect sizes, explore possible causes of heterogeneity, and check publication bias with a funnel plot and its trim-and-fill analysis. Results: Overall effect size of CBT intervention was large (g=1.08) along with each outcome of self-control (g=1.26), lack of attention (g=1.02), social skills (g=0.92), and hyperactivity (g=0.92). For heterogeneity, moderator analysis was performed, but no significant differences were found between the RCT (Randomized Controlled Trials) group and the NRCT (Non RCT) group. Also, meta-regression was performed using sample size, number of sessions, and length of session as predictors, but no statistically significant moderators were found. Finally, a funnel plot along with trim-and-fill analysis was produced to check for publication bias, but no significant bias was detected. Conclusion: Based on these findings, there is clear evidence that CBT intervention has significant positive effects on the main symptoms of school-aged children suffering ADHD. Further research is needed to target diverse age groups with ADHD along with more RCT studies to improve the effectiveness of the CBT intervention.

Objectives: Citation analysis provides a unique insight into how scientific interests and research trends have changed over time. The aim of this study was to report on the 50 top-cited papers in dental stem cell research using the Science Citation Index Expanded provided by the Web of Science database to determine the academic importance of each contribution. Materials and Methods: After the screening, article title and type, total citations and citations per year, publication journal, publication year, first and senior authors, country of origin, institution, and university of reprint author were documented for the 50 top-cited articles in dental stem cell research. Keyword analysis was performed to determine which keywords were most/least popular. Results: Top 50-cited articles were cited between 179 to 2,275 times. The majority of papers were published in 2008 and originated from the United States with the highest contribution from the National Institute of Dental & Craniofacial Research. Journal of Dental Research published the highest number of top-cited articles, followed by Stem Cells and Journal of Endodontics. The greatest number of articles was published by two individual authors, Shi and Gronthos. Among 197 unique keywords, dental pulp stem cells and mesenchymal stem cells were the most frequently used. Thirty-eight of the 50 most cited articles were original articles, and 37 of them were in the field of basic science. Conclusions: Basic science studies in dental stem cell research published in high impact factor journals had the highest citation rates.

본 연구의 목적은 메타분석 방법을 이용하여 음악중재가 아동 및 청소년의 불안에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 이때 연구 대상 논문은 음악중재가 불안에 미치는 영향을 분석한 선행연구이며, 최종적으로 학술지 5편, 학위논문 28편이 분석에 사용되었다. 연구의 출판 편향은 Funnel plot과 Fail-safe N 계수를 활용하여 확인하였으며, 분석 결과 출판 편향이 연구에 영향을 줄 만큼 크지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 동질성 검증을 실시한 결과 효과크기는 이질 하였고 이에 랜덤효과 모형으로 분석을 실시한 결과 전체 효과크기는 -1.034이었다. 또한 범주형 변인에 따른 효과 차이 분석 결과는 대상 구분(Classification), 중재 장소(Intervention location)에 따라 유의하였으며, 연속형 변인에 따른 분석 결과도 규모(Size)에 따라 유의하였다.

연구데이터를 서술하는 데이터논문은 데이터를 생산한 연구자에게 연구논문과 같은 학술적 성과로 인정받을 수 있게 하고 다른 연구자가 데이터논문에서 공유한 데이터를 활용하여 기존 연구를 재현하거나 새로운 연구를 시작할 수 있도록 도움을 준다. 이러한 장점으로 데이터논문의 동료심사, 출판, 인용은 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 데이터논문을 출판하고자 하는 학술단체는 연구논문과 다른 데이터논문의 핵심 개념, 데이터논문 심사 절차, 데이터논문 출판과 관계된 정보시스템 등을 이해하고 데이터논문에 포함할 구성요소 정의, 동료심사 절차 수립, 그리고 데이터저장소와 연계 등 세부 사항을 결정하는 것이 필요하다. 하지만, 데이터논문의 동료심사와 관련하여 다루어야 할 정보가 방대하고, 데이터논문 출판에 관한 연구 및 체계적인 정보가 부족하여 국내 학술단체는 데이터논문의 동료심사 업무에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하는 데 도움이 될 수 있도록, 본 논문은 국내외 다섯 종 데이터학술지의 데이터논문 양식, 동료심사 사례를 조사·분석하여 데이터논문의 핵심 구성요소를 포함한 데이터논문 동료심사의 핵심 개념을 제안하고 프로세스를 모델링하였다. 데이터논문을 신규로 출판하거나, 기존의 연구논문과 함께 데이터논문을 심사하여 출판하고자 하는 학술단체는 본 논문에서 제시한 데이터논문의 핵심 개념과 동료심사 프로세스를 활용하여 데이터논문의 양식 개발, 체계적인 동료심사 프로세스 정립, 출판 정책 개발 등의 학술지업무에 신속하고 효과적으로 적용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
