The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of flipped learning strategy, which is an online offline convergence learning strategy becoming a hot issue, on students' learning styles..Ultimately, the goal is to analyze the academic achievements and learning attitudes by applying the flipped learning strategy considering the preferred learning styles of Korean students. By assuming that Korean students are accustomed to traditional lecture class, it is assumed that the students would have difficulty in applying the flipped learning strategy which involves information gathering and problem solving through discussion. In order to analyze whether the application of flipped learning strategy is effective, it is necessary to identify students' preferred learning style and to develop appropriate teaching strategies accordingly.

The critical thinking has become gradually important in nursing education for the era of convergence. The literature review was undertaken to identify the study trends of critical thinking in nursing education in Korea. 75studies from 1996 to 2014 were reviewed. The studies related to critical thinking were highly increased from 2006. The study design was identified descriptive studies to path model. The predictors to critical thinking were an academic system, age, interpersonal relationship, academic achievement, the duration of clinical practice, satisfaction on nursing, self-esteem, self-efficacy, learning methods and so on. The consequence variables were clinical practice stress, cognitive stress, the ability of problem-solving, clinical competency, emotion control, communication competence. It is necessary to develop education programs and curriculum based on evidence from the researches for increasing critical thinking.

To improve research productivity, it is important to acquire up-to-date information quickly. To this end, researchers seek information resources through various channels and methods and utilize them in their research and development processes. The Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) has developed a platform for integrated scientific and scientific information service called ScienceOn to provide specialized information, infrastructure resources, industry and technology analysis resources in one place to support the research and information ecosystem. Through this process, accessibility and usability are enhanced through the connection and convergence of various information and services. In this study, we look at recent R&D trends in scientific technology academic information integration services and recommended packaging services that can be utilized in batches according to the purpose of use. We look forward to improving national R&D productivity by strengthening the linkage and convergence of scientific and technological information.

Until now, Academic disciplines were categorized according to the standards of the National Research Foundation of Korea, and this categorization has contributed to the development of each disciplines. However, as time goes by, there is a need for a transition to the new trends, convergence. Therefore, to suggest the resolution for pre-existing phenomenon and problems, this study explored the concept and traits of narrative science as a convergence discipline and discussed its implications and tasks. Narrative Science is a human science, based on narrative epistemology, and it focuses on human's interpretation, communication, and inter-subjectivity. Narrative Science has many inner structures per trait, and it provides pre-existing disciplines with narrativistic inter-relation. It also pays attention to human's inner areas. For the development of Narrative Science in the future, it should be free from a misunderstanding as a narratology discipline or a methodology of qualitative research. Under this change, Narrative Science discipline areas should be fused in the perspective of human science, based on narrative philosophy and psychology.

Even though the rapid development of IT technique accelerates informationization for quality improvement of university, security measures are needed for security problems because the major information related to academic affairs is centered on academic database. In this paper, we research and analyze the actual condition of database security of domestic university to develop process model that can consistently keep and improve the security of academic database which is the most important data in university. Also, considering the situation that a lot of universities can't use database security product, we propose details that implement the most important key part like confidentiality with the function that DBMS provides only.

Objects: The purpose of this study was to examine the differences of college students' big-five personality factors, academic adaptation, and psychological well-being according to cluster types based on the grit. Methods: The participants of this study were 190 college students. All variables were evaluated by self-report of college students. The data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA and two-step clustering statistics using SPSS 21.0. Results: First, a cluster analysis on a sample of 190 college students revealed four clusters: the more highly grit group, higher tenacity group, higher consistency of interests, and the less grit group. Second, there were significant differences of 190 college students' big five personality factors, academic adaptation, and psychological well-being according to cluster types based on the grit. Conclusions: These findings can be used as an important contribution to further research and educational practices for promoting the grit in college students. Also it suggests the need for health education to increase the psychological well-being of college students.

This experimental study was to examine the impact of collaborative learning in a virtual environment on students' learning outcomes and satisfaction. The collaborative virtual learning environment was created for a Korean history class for high school students. A total of 119 participants were recruited and were randomly assigned to either "collaborative group" or an "individual group." Students' academic achievements and satisfaction were collected as measurement tools to examine the effect of collaborative learning in the virtual learning environment and collected data were tested by independent sample t. The results showed that participation in collaborative groups had a significant positive effect on academic achievement and satisfaction than individual groups.

In this paper, we propose a reasonable plan for university information education by examining whether university students' academic performance improves when the information mind is satisfied. In particular, through comparison between physical education students and general students, it was intended to provide empirical help in preparing strategies for information education in universities in the future. As a result of the analysis, there were some differences by major category, but overall, the information mind improved major convergence ability, teamwork and self-directed learning ability, and academic performance. Therefore, in order to improve the Information mind of college students, it is suggested that the need for Information should be recognized and the curriculum and program suitable for the major characteristics should be introduced and implemented.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of academic engagement, academic self-efficacy of problem solving ability in nursing students. Data were collected from 219 nursing students in B city and analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 22.0. The degree of problem solving ability in nursing students was 4.00±0.51. There were significant differences in problem solving ability with major satisfaction(F=9.476, p<.001), class satisfaction (F=3.079, p<.001). There was positive correlation between problem solving ability and academic engagement (r=.560, p<.001), academic self-efficacy(r=.634, p<.001). There was positive correlation between academic engagement and academic self-efficacy(r=.769, p<.001). The factors affecting problem solving ability of the study subjects were academic engagement(β=.177, p=.031), academic self-efficacy(β=.498, p<.001), with an explanatory power of 41.0%. Therefore to increase aacademic engagement and academic self-efficacy of nursing students, it is necessary to develop the program for improving the problem solving ability of nursing students.

As the 4^th Industrial Revolution(Industry 4.0), symbolized as CPS(Cyber Physical System), spreads around the world, it is essential to establish a converged security infrastructure to secure technical stability and reliability of various cyber systems to be implemented in the future. In this study, we will investigate the phenomenon of broad convergence security industry and technology including the concept of life safety in relation to the spread of the 4^th industrial revolution, and analyze the possibility of linkage between related knowledge to promote academic-industrial cooperation necessary for the convergence of security. we would like to propose a comprehensive development policy on human resource development, technology development and policy improvement.
