  • Clothes and human body are inseparably related. Aesthetic consciousness of the body determines the form of clothing, reflecting the time and culture as well as the individual and society. Clothes can even reorganize the meaning of the body, while transcending their instrumental functions of protecting, expanding and deforming the body. Using 'body' to analyze the clothing form, my study develops a framework by which to classify transfiguration in fashion design. In order to inquire tile formative style and aesthetic values expressed in transfiguration in fashion, my study examines subjects from the discourse on the body to the fashion collections of the late 20th and 21st century. The results of the study are as follows. Transfiguration signifies absence of body which questions the three dimensional construction of the body in more conventional clothing system. Transfiguration is expressed in non-figural forms which implies metaphorical plasticity and abstract extensity. Transfiguration in fashion stresses a will-to-form rather than mere bodily proportion and structure, which explores trans-extensity that goes beyond the boundary of the body. Ultimately, this phase also betrays the correspondence between signifiant and $signifi\acute{e}$ in sartorial convention. Aesthetic ideal of the body is visualized in the form of a dress. Some clothes prioritize the body, particularly the feminine bodily curves, while others focus on the clothing itself as abstract and sculptural forms. Fashion continues to explore forms and images that transcend the traditional representations of the clothed body. As a type of intimate architecture, fashion always mediates the dialogue between clothes and body, or fashion and figure. My study suggests a framework to analyze bodily representation in transfiguration in fashion, focusing on the relationship between the clothes and body.

  • As Damyang has preserved both beautiful natural environment and tradition very well, it needs colors which can coexist with Damyang while preserving it as it is rather than colorful and refined colors. However, the present Damyang deteriorates the quality of beautiful natural scenes by chaotic uses of colors. Therefore, colors which can represent symbolism based on the present colors of Damyang should be used so that everyone can be pleased with them. Finally, the basic colors decided were classified into main, supplement and highlight colors in consideration of characteristics of each scene and they were effectively arranged based on the colors decided. If such colors and color schemes are properly applied according to characteristics of scenes, ecological, historical, cultural and traditional scenes of Damyang can be preserved consistently. Academic literature uses the abstract to succinctly communicate complex research. An abstract may act as a stand-alone entity instead of a full paper. As such, an abstract is used by many organizations as the basis for selecting research that is proposed for presentation in the form of a poster, platform/oral presentation or workshop presentation at an academic conference. Most literature database search engines index only abstracts rather than providing the entire text of the paper. Full texts of scientific papers must often be purchased because of copyright and/or publisher fees and therefore the abstract is a significant selling point for the reprint or electronic version of the full-text. Abstracts are protected under copyright law just as any other form of written speech is protected. However, publishers of scientific articles invariably make abstracts publicly available, even when the article itself is protected by a toll barrier. For example, articles in the biomedical literature are available publicly from medline which is accessible through design. It is a common misconception that the abstracts in medline provide sufficient information for medical practitioners, students, scholars and patients. The abstract can convey the main results and conclusions of a scientific article but the full text article must be consulted for details of the methodology.

  • In the present paper we consider an abstract partial dif-ferential equation of the form $\frac{\partial^2u}{{\partial}t^2}-\frac{\partial^2u}{{\partial}x^2}+A(x.t)u=f(x, t)$, where ${A(x, t):(x, t){\epsilon}\bar{G} }$ is a family of linear closed operators and $G=GU{\partial}G$, G is a suitable bounded region in the (x, t)-plane with bound-are ${\partial}G$. It is assumed that u is given on the boundary ${\partial}G$. The objective of this paper is to study the considered Dirichlet problem for a wide class of operators $A(x, t)$. A Dirichlet problem for non-elliptic partial differential equations of higher orders is also considerde.

  • The user interface design needs to support the complex interactions between human and computers. It also requires comprehensive knowledges many areas to collect customer's requirements and negotiate with them. The user interface designer needs to be a graphic expert, requirement analyst, system designer, programmer, technical expert, social activity scientist, and so on. Therefore, it is necessary to research on an designing methodology of user interface for satisfying various expertise areas. In the paper, We propose the 4 business event's abstract object visualizing phases such as fold abstract object modeling, task abstract object modeling, transaction abstract object modeling, and form abstract object modeling. As a result, this modeling method allows us to enhance visual cohesion of UI, and help unskilled designer to can develope the higy-qualified user interface.

  • Mechanical parts are often grouped into part families based on the similarity of their shapes, to support efficient manufacturing process planning and design modification. The 2-part sequence papers present similarity assessment techniques to support part family classification for machined parts. These exploit the multiple feature decompositions obtained by the feature recognition method using convex decomposition. Convex decomposition provides a hierarchical volumetric representation of a part, organized in an outside-in hierarchy. It provides local accessibility directions, which supports abstract and qualitative similarity assessment. It is converted to a Form Feature Decomposition (FFD), which represents a part using form features intrinsic to the shape of the part. This supports abstract and qualitative similarity assessment using positive feature volumes. FFD is converted to Negative Feature Decomposition (NFD), which represents a part as a base component and negative machining features. This supports a detailed, quantitative similarity assessment technique that measures the similarity between machined parts and associated machining processes implied by two parts' NFDs. Features of the NFD are organized into branch groups to capture the NFD hierarchy and feature interrelations. Branch groups of two parts' NFDs are matched to obtain pairs, and then features within each pair of branch groups are compared, exploiting feature type, size, machining direction, and other information relevant to machining processes. This paper, the first one of the two companion papers, describes the similarity assessment methods using convex decomposition and FFD.

  • The carelessness of basic design form in education can result in a lack of creativeness and critical thinking ability that will decrease adaptability in a rapidly changing fashion industry. If the fashion education just repeats the previous education of basic form of design, it will be impossible to create original value in fashion design. It is necessary to re-establish the characterized program of the basic form of design education. This study develops concrete educational contents of the basic form of design that can be applied to fashion design through the study of the fundamentals and the concepts of the basic form of design. This study is the basis for the cultivation of talented designers with creativity, forming ability, problem solving skills, and critical thinking ability. The research method is the fundamentals, specialty publications, and designs studied. As a result, an education program for the basic form of design to be used in fashion design education was developed. The development of education contents of the basic form of design has been developed as the plane form that aims the perceptual and emotional effects through the expression of the objects, through the use of dots, lines and planes that are the basics in forming practice and the expression of the abstract images. This suggests subjects composed of the various progressive forming conditions with the abstract dots and lines. In this subject and during the process of the idea, development, and fashion design, the overall unity, harmony, and the theory of gestalt (closure, proximity, and similarity) has been obtained. As a result, the content of the subjects was developed from the perspective that comprehensive decision making skills made from the process can lead to an improved sense of the fashion design.

  • The purpose of this study is to study the inner meaning and formative with distorted and atypical Informel image, body image expressed in modern fashion. Method of the study is as follow. The study method examined philosophy of art 19th century?in order to consider interconnections between social and cultural characteristics of expressionistic abstract art, a form of Informel and changed physical style. Based on this method, the Informel image that appeared in the plastic arts in terms of artistic significance and aesthetic value was examined. Based on the above discussion on modern fashion Informel images were expressed in any formative characteristics were considered. The results of this study are as follows. Contingencies through the spontaneous act of art to transcend the image of atypical lines formed elements of coincidence, was developed. Liberation was expressed from liberation of physical boundaries and created outward expansion of the free formative. Atypical was organic forms pursuing spontaneous plasticity and diversity, and appeared in the form of distortion and deformation.
