형태별 구리 및 아연 급여가 비육돈의 생산성, 영양소 소화율, 도체 및 육질 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Copper and Zinc Sources on Growth Performance, Nutrient Digestibility, Carcass Traits and Meat Characteristics in Finishing Pigs)

  • 본 연구는 사료내 형태별 구리와 아연 첨가가 비육돈의 생산성, 영양소 소화율 도체 및 육질 특성에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 실시하였다. 3원 교잡종(Landrace x Yorkshire x Duroc) 비육돈 64두를 공시하였으며, 시험개시 시의 체중은 55.60 kg이었다. 1) 무기태 구리 $(CuSO_4{\cdot}5H_2O$ 30 ppm), 2) 유기태 구리(Cu-methionine, 30 ppm), 3)무기태 아연(ZnO, 80 ppm) 및 4) 유기태 아연(Zn-methionine, 80 ppm)으로 4개 처리를 하여 처리당 4반복, 반복당 4두씩 완전임의 배치하였다. 0-5주 동안 일당 사료 섭취량은 무기태 아연 처리구가 유기태 구리 및 아연 처리구와 비교하여 유의적으로 높게 나타났다(p<0.05). 그러나 전체 시험기간 동안 일당 증체량, 사료 섭취량 및 사료 요구율은 처리구간에 유의적인 차이를 보이지 않았다(p>0.05). 시험 5주째의 건물 및 질소 소화율은 처리구간에 유의적인 차이를 보이지 않았으나(p>0.05), 시험 10주째의 건물 및 질소 소화율은 유기태 아연을 첨가한 처리구가 다른 처리구와 비교하여 유의적으로 낮게 나타났다(p<0.05). 육의 pH는 Cu-Met처리구가 아연을 첨가 급여한 처리구와 비교하여 유의적으로 높게 나타났으며, 관능검사에서 육색은 Cu-met과 $CuSO_4$ 처리구가 Zn-met과 ZnO처리구와 비교하여 유의적으로 높게 나타났고(p<0.05), 근내지방도는 Cu-met 처리구가 다른 처리구와 비교하여 유의적으로 낮게 나타났으며(p<0.05), 경도에 있어서는 Zn-met 처리구가 유기태 구리 및 무기태 아연 처리구와 비교하여 유의적으로 높게 나타났다(p<0.05). 결론적으로 환경오염을 야기 시키는 무기태 구리 및 아연의 첨가 대신 유기태 구리 및 아연의 첨가는 성장 능력, 등심 단면적 및 육색에 영향을 미치지 않았다.

Synthesis and Structural Properties of YBa2Cu3O7-x Films/ZnO Nanorods on SrTiO3 Substrates

  • The high-temperature superconductor YBa2Cu3O7-x (YBCO) have attached attentions because of a high superconducting transition temperature, low surface resistance, high superconducting critical current density (Jc), and superior superconducting capability under magnetic field. Moreover, the Jc of YBCO superconductors can be enhanced by adding impurities to the YBCO films for vortex-pinning. Understanding and controlling pinning centers are key factors to realize high Jc superconductors. We synthesized vertically-aligned ZnO nanorods on SrTiO3 (STO) substrates by catalyst-free metal-organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD), and subsequently, deposited YBCO films on the ZnO nanorods/STO templates using pulsed laser deposition (PLD). The various techniques were used to analyze the structural and interfacial properties of the YBCO/ZnO nanorods/STO hybrid structures. SEM, TEM, and XRD measurements demonstrated that YBCO films on ZnO nanorods/STO were well crystallized with the (001) orientation. EXAFS measurements from YBCO/ZnO nanorods/STO at Cu K edge demonstrated that the local structural properties around Cu atoms in YBCO were quite similar to those of YBCO/STO.

  • We have performed $^{63,65}$Cu nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR) measurements on Zn and Ni doped YBa$_2Cu_3O_7$ (YBa$_2Cu_{3-x}M_xO_7$, M=Zn or Ni, x = 0.00 ${\sim}$ 0.09). Doping effects are markedly different in relaxation rates as well as in superconducting transition temperatures. Both the spin-lattice and the spin-spin relaxation rates decrease for Zn doped YBCO. However, those increase for Ni doped YBCO. This contrast in local electronic dynamics provides a clear microscopic evidence that Zn forms no local moment, while Ni develops a local moment. Consequently, the antiferromagnetic spin fluctuation is suppressed by Zn doping whereas it is preserved by Ni doping.

Effects of dietary copper on organ indexes, tissular Cu, Zn and Fe deposition and fur quality of growing-furring male mink (Mustela vison)

  • The objectives of this study were to study the effects of different levels of dietary copper on organ indexes, tissular Cu, Zn and Fe deposition and fur quality of mink in the growing-furring periods. One hundred and five standard dark male mink were randomly assigned to seven groups with the following dietary treatments: basal diet with no supplemental Cu (Control); basal diet supplemented with either 6, 12, 24, 48, 96 and 192 mg/kg Cu from copper sulphate, respectively. The colour intensity scores displayed a linear trend (P = 0.057). The spleen Cu concentrations responded in a linear (P < 0.05) fashion with increasing level of Cu, but copper supplementation did not affect speen concentrations of Fe or Zn. Supplemental dose of Cu linearly increased (P < 0.05) liver Cu and Fe concentrations but did not alter (P > 0.10) liver Zn. Our results indicate that Cu plays an important role in the pigmentation in growing-furring mink, and supplemental dietary Cu in growing-furring mink improve hair colour, and copper has limited effects on liver mineral deposition.

슬러지 급이에 따른 Zn, Cu, Fe, Al의 줄지렁이 체내 생물축적 (Bioaccumulation of Zn, Cu, Fe and Al in the Earthworm Eisenia Fetida (Ennelida; Oligochaeta) in Relation to the Supply of Sludges)

  • 경기도 포천시에 소재하는 몇 군데의 하수처리장에서 채취된 슬러지내의 Zn, Cu, Fe, Al 함량을 측정하고 슬러지를 줄지렁이에게 장기간 급이하면서 이들 금속류의 지렁이 체내 축적량을 조사하였다. 슬러지내 Zn 함량은 75.1~196.1 mg/kg, Cu 함량은 3.74~76.1 mg/kg, Fe 함량은 219.9~857.8mg/kg, Al 함량 198.4~991.7 mg/kg로 나타났다. 이들 금속류의 슬러지내 함량은 줄지렁이에 대하여 단기적으로 직접 치사 독성을 유발할 정도는 아니었으나, 장기적으로는 아독성을 유발할 가능성이 있고 이들 금속류에 의한 산란 및 부화율 억제에 의한 차세대 개체군의 감소 현상을 유발할 것으로 판단된다. 그러나 60g(dw)의 슬러지 급이후 이들 금속류의 지렁이 생체내 축적률(BAF)은 0.0-0.43으로 낮은 경향을 나타내었으며 슬러지를 장기간 급이하여도 슬러지내 Zn, Cu, Fe, Al가 줄지렁이 생체내에 누적적으로 축적되지는 않는 것으로 나타났다.

시흥 Cu-Pb-Zn 광산 주변에서의 중금속원소들의 분산 및 존재형태와 흡착처리 (Dispersion, Speciation and Adsorption Treatment of Heavy Metals in the Vicinity of the Shi-Heung Cu-Pb-Zn Mine)

  • In order to investigate the dispersion patterns and speciations of Cu, Pb, Zn and Cd in soils, stream sediments and stream waters, geochemical studies of soil, stream sediment and stream water samples collected in the vicinity of the Shi-Heung Cu-Pb-Zn mine was carried out Cation exchange capacity measurement, size analysis, X-ray diffraction analysis and batch test were performed to select applicable soil for adsorption treatment The average content of Cu, Pb, Zn and Cd in soils collected from tailings and ore dressing plant is 1084 ppm, 2292 ppm, 3512 ppm and 29.2 ppm, respectively, and therefore, tailings and ore dressing plant site may be the major contamination sources in this study area. The mean content of Cu, Pb, Zn and Cd in stream sediments is extremely high up to 794 ppm, 1633 ppm, 2946 ppm and 25.2 ppm, respectively. Tailing particles and heavy metal ions are dispersed along the tributary system. Results from the sequential extraction analysis indicate; (1) most of Cu is bound to organic matters and sulphides, (2) fraction of Pb is mainly bound to Fe and Mn oxides. Most of Zn is largely bound to Fe and Mn oxides and residual fraction. Ion exchangeable fraction of Cd is relatively higher than those of Cu, Pb and Zn. Batch test on soils collected from the kaolinite and/or pyrophyllite mines and from the control areas was carried out to select an applicable soil samples for adsorption treatment The sample, S10, collected from the control area 2 (clay content 33.2%) shows the highest $K_d$ (distribution coefficient). Organic content in soils and several clay minerals shows relatively good correlation with $K_d$. It means that applicable soils for adsorption treatment of heavy metals show high organic and clay content.

Effects of Supplementing with Single or Multiple Trace Minerals on Growth Performance, Fecal Mineral Excretion and Nutrient Utilization in Pullets from 1 to 18 Weeks of Age

  • This study investigated whether supplemental Cu, Fe, Zn, and Mn are needed in a practical diet for pullets. Four hundred and twenty females of an egg-laying strain (1-d-old, Lohmann Brown Layer) were randomly distributed into 4 groups, consisting of 7 replicates of 15 birds each. During the 18-week experimental period, chicks were given three basal diets in sequence, each with single or multiple Mn, Zn and Cu supplementation to improve the mineral balance gradually. In the Control, no Mn, Zn, and Cu were added; in the single Mn supplemented group (sMn) Mn was added to 120, 60, and 60 mg/kg for 1-6, 7-12, and 13-18 weeks of age, respectively; in the multiple Mn and Zn supplemented group (mMnZn), Mn was added to 180, 90, and 90 mg/kg and Zn was added to 120, 105, and 105 mg/kg for 1-6, 7-12, and 13-18 weeks of age, respectively; in the multiple Mn, Zn, Cu supplemented group (mMnZnCu), Mn, Zn, and Cu were added to the same multiple of basal Fe concentration relative to NRC (1994) recommendations. Energy and protein metabolizability were determined by subtracting energy/protein intake by energy/protein excretion (from both feces and urine) and dividing by energy/protein intake. There were no statistically significant differences between groups in terms of feed intake, final body weight or tibia length throughout the experiment. Optimal growth performance was observed in the Control, while adding trace minerals to basal diets tended to result in decreased productive performance. Protein metabolizability was increased by mMnZn and mMnZnCu treatments, but energy metabolizability was not affected. Concentrations of Mn, Zn, Cu in excreta varied greatly related to dietary content, and the retentions of Cu, Fe, Zn and Mn were all increased due to the improvement of mineral balance. Based on these results, it is suggested that the concentrations of Cu, Fe, Zn and Mn in typical basal diets used in this study were adequate for normal growth for pullets from 1 to 18 weeks of age.

인체친화적 $CuInS_2$-ZnS 코어-쉘 나노입자가를 포함한 Poly(methylmethacrylate) 박막을 사용하여 제작한 비휘발성 메모리 소자에 대한 전기적 안정성

  • 유기물/무기물 하이브리드 나노 복합체를 사용하여 제작한 비휘발성 유기 메모리 소자는 공정의 간편성과 휘어짐이 가능한 장점을 가지고 있어 많은 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있으나 대부분의 좋은 전기적 성능을 갖는 소자에 포함되는 나노 입자는 독성을 가지거나 가격이 비싸다는 단점을 갖고 있다. 인체진화적이며 가격이 저렴한 나노입자를 이용한 비휘발성 메모리 소자에 대한 전기적 성능의 안정성에 대한 연구는 미미한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 인체친화적 $CuInS_2(CIS)$-ZnS 코어-쉘 나노 입자가 분산되어 있는 poly (methylmethacrylate) (PMMA) 박막을 사용하여 비휘발성 메모리 소자를 제작하여 전기적 성능과 안정성에 대한 연구를 하였다. 인체친화적 CIS-ZnS 나노입자를 포함한 PMMA 용액을 Al 하부전극을 가진 p-Si (100) 기판 위에 스핀코팅 방법으로 균일하게 도포 하였다. 남아 있는 용매를 완전히 제거하기 위해 열을 가해 CIS-ZnS 나노입자가 분산되어 있는 PMMA 나노 복합체를 형성하였다. CIS-ZnS 나노입자를 포함한 PMMA 박막 위에 금속 마스크를 사용하여 Al 상부전극을 열 증착 방법으로 형성하여 비휘발성 메모리 소자를 완성하였다. 정전용량-전압 (C-V) 측정을 하여 평탄 전압 이동을 관찰하였고, CIS-ZnS 나노입자의 역할을 알아보기 위해 나노입자가 없는 PMMA 박막을 갖는 소자를 제작하여 동일한 조건에서 C-V 측정을 하였다. 소자의 안정성을 알아보기 위해 평탄 전압-유지 시간 (Vth-t) 측정을 수행하였다. Vth-t 측정은 CIS-ZnS 나노입자가 전하 포획 장소로 사용할 수 있는 것과 전기적 안정성을 갖고 있는 것을 확인하였다. C-V와 Vth-t 측정결과 및 에너지 대역도를 사용하여 CIS-ZnS 나노입자가 분산되어 있는 PMMA 박막을 포함한 나노 복합체를 사용하여 제작한 이용한 비휘발성 메모리 소자에서 전하수송 메커니즘을 설명하였다.

La이 도핑된 CuO-ZnO-Al2O3 복합 산화물의 합성공정개발 (Development and Synthesis of La Doped CuO-ZnO-Al2O3 Mixed Oxide)

  • La doped CuO-ZnO-$Al_2O_3$ powders are prepared by sol-gel method with aluminum isopropoxide and primary distilled water as precursor and solvent. In this synthesized process, the obtained metal oxides caused the precursor such as copper (II) nitrate hydrate and zinc (II) nitrate hexahydrate were added. To improve the surface areas of La doped CuO-ZnO-$Al_2O_3$ powder, sorbitan (z)-mono-9-octadecenoate (Span 80) was added. The synthesized powder was calcined at various temperatures. The dopant was found to affect the surface area and particle size of the mixed oxide, in conjunction with the calcined temperature. The structural analysis and textual properties of the synthesized powder were measured with an X-ray Diffractometer (XRD), a Field-Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM), Bruner-Emmett-Teller surface analysis (BET), Thermogravimetry-Differential Thermal analysis (TG/DTA), $^{27}Al$ solid state Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and transform infrared microspectroscopy (FT-IR). An increase of surface area with Span 80 was observed on La doped CuO-ZnO-$Al_2O_3$ powders from $25m^2$/g to $41m^2$/g.

퍼머넌트 웨이브 시술에 따른 모발의 중금속 함량의 변화 (Variations of the Heavy Metal Contents in Human Hairs According to Permanent Wave Manipulation)

  • This research is compared and analyzed variations of the heavy metal contents in human hairs according to treating permanent wave manipulation before and after and permanent wave agents. This is the survey of women's hairs in 19 years old. On the basis of this we would like to analyze a extend of exposing of heavy metal scientifically. Also, we would to show a basic data for the permitted limits of heavy metal to keep the healthy hair The conclusion is as follows.; Mean contents of heavy metal in hairs is 2.11 ppm (Pb), 0.25 ppm (Cd), 2.62 ppm (Ni), 256 ppm (Zn), 8.45 ppm (Cu). In reducing agents (processing lotions) of perm, 1.50 ppm (Pb), 0.03 ppm (Cd), 0.05 ppm (Ni), 15.45 ppm (Zn), 0.86 ppm (Cu) in a perm (S), 2.30 ppm (Pb), 0.05 ppm (Cd), 0.05 ppm (Ni), 13.05 ppm (Zn), 0.65 ppm (Cu) in a perm (T). In oxidizing agents (neutralizer) of perm, 1.40 ppm (Pb), 0.03 ppm (Cd), 0.09 ppm (Ni), 9.05 ppm (Zn), 0.65 ppm (Cu) in a perm (S), 1.50 ppm (Pb), 0.02 ppm (Cd), 0.16 ppm (Ni), 8.00 ppm (Zn), 0.85 ppm (Cu) in a perm (T). Mean contents of lead(Pb) didn't show significant differences according to treating cysteine perm agents, showed it according to 3 treating thioglycolic acid perm agents (p<0.05). Mean contents of cadmium(Cd) showed significant differences (p<0.001) according to 2 treating both perm agents. Mean contents of nickel (Ni) showed neither. Mean contents of zinc (Zn) showed significant differences according to 2 treating cysteine perm agents (p<0.001) and 1 treating thioglycolic acid perm agents (p<0.01). Mean contents of copper (Cu) didn't show significant differences according to treating cysteine perm agents, showed it according to 1 treating thioglycolic acid perm agents (p<0.001).
