In this paper, a two-phase DZRCD(Dual Zero Vector Modes RCD) technique is proposed to develope the problem of a conventional two-phase RCD-PWM (Random Centered Distribution PWM) which gives the power spectra of narrow band range in the high modulation index (M). In the proposed DZRCD technique, the zero vector $V_0$ is selected as $V_0$(111) for M$\geqq$0.8. Also, $V_0$ is selected as $V_0$(000) for the modulation indices < 0.8. For the unplementation of the proposed method, a 16-bit micro-controller Cl67 was used and the experiments were conducted with the 1.5kw induction motor under no load condition. The experimental results show that the voltage / current spectra is spread to a wide band range, and the switching noise of motor is reduced by the proposed method compared to the conventional random operation.

An open-end winding (OEW) permanent magnet synchronous motor with dual inverters can synthesize large voltages for a motor with the same DC link voltage. This ability has the advantage of reducing the use of DC/DC boost converters or high voltage batteries. However, zero-sequence voltage (ZSV), which is caused by the difference in the combined voltage between the primary and secondary inverters, can generate a zero-sequence current (ZSC) that increases system losses. Among the methods for eliminating this phenomenon, combining voltage vector eliminated ZSV cannot be accomplished by the conventional Pulse Width Modulation(PWM) method. In this study, a PWM carrier generation method using functionalization to generate a switching pattern to suppress ZSC is proposed and applied to analyze the control influence of the center-zero vector in the switching sequence about the current ripple.
Digital watermarking is a technology for preventing illegal copying, for protecting intellectual property rights and copyrights, and for suggesting grounds of the ownership by inserting watermarks into digital contents. Generally speaking, watermarking techniques cannot escape from data distortion and quality degradation due to the watermark insertion. In order to overcome the shortcoming, zero-watermarking techniques which do not change the original data have been proposed recently. This paper proposes CSMVQ(Chaotic SMVQ), a zero-watermarking system for SMVQ(Side Match Vector Quantization) which shows better compression ratio and quality and less blocking effect than VQ(Vector Quantization). In SMVQ, compression progresses from left top to right bottom in order to use the information of the two neighbor blocks, so it is impossible to insert watermarks chaotically. In the process of encoding, CSMVQ dynamically considers the information of the (1 to 4) neighbor blocks already encoded. Therefore, watermark can be inserted into digital contents in chaotic way. Experimental results show that the image quality compressed by CSMVQ is better than that of SMVQ and the inserted watermark is robust against some common attacks.

A compensation method of the motor parameters using zero sequence third harmonic voltage is presented for the speed sensorless vector control of the induction motor considering saturation of the flux. Generally, the air-gap flux of the saturated induction motor contains the space harmonic components rotating with the synchronous frequency of the motor. Because the EMF of the saturated induction motor contains the zero sequence harmonic voltages at the neutral point of the motor, those harmonic voltages can be used as a saturation index. In this work, the rotor flux observer is firstly designed for the speed sensorless vector control of induction motor. And a novel measurement method of the space harmonic voltage and a compensation method of th LPF(Low Pass Filter) are proposed. For compensating the non-linear variations of the magnetizing inductance depending on the saturation level of the motor, the dominant third harmonic voltage of the motor is used as a saturation function of the air-gap flux. And the variation of the stator resistance owing to the motor temperature can also be measured with the phase angle between the impressed voltage vector and the zero sequence voltage. The validity of the proposed parameter compensation scheme in the speed sensorless vector control using rotor flux observer is verified by the result of the simulations and the experiments.
A model predictive current control (MPCC) method that does not employ a cost function is proposed. The MPCC method can decrease common-mode voltages in loads fed by three-phase voltage-source inverters. Only non-zero-voltage vectors are considered as finite control elements to regulate load currents and decrease common-mode voltages. Furthermore, the three-phase future reference voltage vector is calculated on the basis of an inverse dynamics model, and the location of the one-step future voltage vector is determined at every sampling period. Given this location, a non-zero optimal future voltage vector is directly determined without repeatedly calculating the cost values obtained by each voltage vector through a cost function. Without utilizing the zero-voltage vectors, the proposed MPCC method can restrict the common-mode voltage within ± Vdc/6, whereas the common-mode voltages of the conventional MPCC method vary within ± Vdc/2. The performance of the proposed method with the reduced common-mode voltage and no cost function is evaluated in terms of the total harmonic distortions and current errors of the load currents. Simulation and experimental results are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method operated without a cost function, which can reduce the common-mode voltage.

High speed elevator requires precise drive included in zero speed at start/stop drive for the high stability and controllability. The vector control techniques, which have been used for the precise operation of induction motor, can be divided into two classes; The indirect vector control by slip frequency and the direct vector control by field orientation. The existing direct vector control technique has a robustness against the change of motor parameter and the existing indirect vector control technique has a strength of control ability in the wide speed range comparatively. This study presents the DTIF (Direct Torque Indirect Flux) controller which has robust movement in the transition state and in about zero and low speed using the control technique in which torque is controlled by the direct vector technique and flux is controled by indirect vector technique. The proposed system is verified by simulation and experiment for driving 3 phase induction motor. The process of transition which is from about zero speed and low speed to high speed is compared and measured to specification of phase voltage, phase current and DC link current. It is verified that DTIF controller show robust and stable speed variation.
This paper proposes a modified hysteresis current control method based on space vector modulation. The proposed method differs from former works in that it uses effective voltage vectors instead of zero vectors while not significantly increasing the circuit complexity. The circuit uses outer band that is slightly wider than the usual current limit band (inner band) to detect the phase of current command and thereby the region information. The comparator output signals associated with the inner and outer band are used to determine the proper voltage vector that minimizes the current error and number of switching, with simple logic circuitry. The utilization of effective voltage vector is of particular importance when the ac-side emf is relatively large. Both the simulation and experiment show that the proposed method is more effective than the conventional one that uses zero vectors, in reducing the number of switching over a range of ac-side emf variation.

The purpose is to discuss the relationship between zero-sum two-person game with vector-payoff and multiple objective linear program. Further this paper shows that game against nature with vector payoff can be reduced to linear program.
An analog implementation of space vector PWM is proposed in this paper. It is shown that a space vector PWM can be implemented by adding a zero sequency voltage to reference voltage of triangle comparison PWM. The proposed scheme is implemented by six diodes and, an operational amplifier circuit and, a few resistors.
This paper is concerned with eigenvalues of second-order vector equations on time scales with boundary value conditions. Properties of eigenvalues and matrix-valued solutions are studied. Relationships between eigenvalues of different boundary value problems are discussed.
