The Relationship among Learning Motivation, Transfer Climate, Learning Self-efficacy, and Transfer Motivation in Nursing Students Received Simulation-based Education (시뮬레이션 교육을 받은 간호학생의 학습동기, 전이풍토, 학습자기효능감 및 전이동기의 관계)

  • This descriptive research study was undertaken to identify the degree of learning motivation, transfer climate, learning self-efficacy, and transfer motivation, and to correlate the variables, in nursing students receiving simulation-based education. The subjects of this study were 4th grade nursing students who completed a simulation course at a nursing university; data collected using the self-report questionnaire were analyzed using the SPSS 21.0 program. Our results indicate high values of learning motivation, transfer climate (including the lower variables supervisor's support, peer's support, and transfer opportunity), learning self-efficacy, and transfer motivation. Learning motivation, learning self-efficacy, and transfer motivation significantly differed with respect to social motivation for entering school (Z=6.04, p=0.049; Z=6.92, p=0.031; Z=9.16, p=0.010, respectively) and major satisfaction (Z=8.55, p=0.036; Z=12.55, p=0.006; Z=13.47, p=0.004, respectively). All these variables were positively correlated, especially transfer motivation with learning motivation, supervisor's support, peer's support, transfer opportunity, and learning self-efficacy. Taken together, the results of this study indicate a need to develop an effective simulation-based education program to encourage transfer motivation, as well as follow-up studies that verify the causal relationship between transfer motivation and related variables.

Determination Grid Cell for Estimation of Radar Relationship (레이더 관계식 산정을 위한 격자망 크기 결정)

  • The purpose of the study is to determine grid cell of radar relationship, and to promote the radar data on hydrology field. The study region is the Chungjudam basin with a drainage area of $6,648km^{2}$ located within the 260 km circle under the DWSR-88C C-band umbrella(Kwanak Mt Radar). Grid cell was produced to extract radar reflectivity and rainfall data of the same time and point using Arc-view software package. The grid cell size is to estimate mean correlation coefficient for $1km{\times}1km,\;2km{\times}2km,\;3km{\times}3km$ grid. The result of mean correlation coefficient showed good result(0.57) for the $1km{\times}1km$ grid cell. The 32 rainfall stations Z-R relationship was estimated in Chungjudam basin.

The Effects of Stress on Smartphone Addiction in University Students -Mediator Effects of Depression- (대학생의 스트레스가 스마트폰 중독에 미치는 영향 -우울감을 매개효과로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship among stress, smartphone addiction, and depression of university students and whether depression is mediators in the relationship between stress and smartphone addiction. For this purpose, data were collected from May 1st to 31, 2017 from 400 university students, and analyzed 381 valid ones. Frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis were used as analysis methods; and the Soble test was conducted in addition to verification of mediator effect according to procedures of Baron & Kenny(1986) for verification of mediator effect. The results of this study are as follows. First, stress of the subjects was positively correlated with depression(employment stress r=.353, economic stress r=.193, heterosexual relationship stress r=.138) and smartphone addiction(employment stress r=.262, economic stress r=.178, heterosexual relationship stress r=.190). Second, depression was a statistically significant partial mediator between employment-stress and smartphone addiction(Z=2.7151, p<.001). Based on the results of this study, I proposed education/counseling programs that can relieve employment-stress and depression.

Substituent Effects on the Gas-Phase Pyrolyses of 2-Substituted Ethyl N,N-Dialkylcarbamates: A Theoretical Study

  • The R- and Z-substituent effects for the gas-phase thermal decompositions of carbamates, R2NC(=O)- OCH2CH2Z, have been investigated theoretically at B3LYP level with 6-31G(d) and 6-31++G(d,p) basis sets. Both the Z- and R-substituent effects on reactivity (ΔH≠) were well consistent with experimental results, although the R-substituent effect was underestimated theoretically. No correlations were found between activation enthalpies and reaction enthalpies. The substituent effects on reactivity seemed to be complicated at a glance, but were understandable by concurrent electronic and steric factors. Variations of bond lengths at TS structures were well correlated with the Taft's σ* values and the TS structures became tighter as the Zsubstituent became a stronger electron-acceptor (δσ* > 0). However the effects of R-substituents on the TS structures were much smaller when compared to those of Z-substituents.

Theoretical Studies on Phenyl Group Rearrangement of Protonated Ketones

  • Gas-phase phenyl group migration within the protonated ketones has been studied MO theoretically using the AM1 method. The initial state structure shows relatively strong resonance delocalization of positive charge into the nonmigrating (Y) ring, while the ring migration (Z-ring) is nearly complete in the transition state. These results are reflected in the large $p^+_Z$ (<0) and $p^+_$Y (>0) values and in the predominant contribution of resonance (r) over inductive (field, f) effect, r/f ranging from 1.3 ($p^+_r$) to 1.5 ($p^+_z$). The cross-interaction constant $p_{YZ}$ is vanishingly small ($p_{YZ}$=0.03) which is in contrast to the larger magnitudes for benzilic ($p_{YZ}$=-0.48) and azibenzil ($p_{YZ}$=-0.53) rearrangement processes. The relationship found between the extent of resonance contribution in the initial state and the magnitude of $p_{YZ}$ provides strong support for the proportionality between the magnitude of $p_{YZ}$ and the change in the intensity of interaction, ${\Delta}I^{\cdot}_{YZ}$, in the activation process.

  • The Forearm and the lumbar spine bone mineral density bone mineral density values obtained through, T-score and Z-score correlation between numerical and calibration function obtained as a result of any one part to another part of the results is intended to infer. Groups of 66 patients, 11 patients by age 20-70 were composed of patients measured with the forearm and lumbar spine bone mineral density T-score and Z-score of the survey for each of the three factors that correlated to assess the correlation Find the correction factor to obtain the relationship. Bone mineral density of the correlation coefficient R = 0.769 correction factor is Y = 1.541X + 0.133. T-score of correlation coefficient R = 0.768 and the correction factor Y = 0.715X - 0.4 is Z-score of the correlation coefficient R = 0.635 correction factor Y = 0.751X - 0.162. It is regarded that there will be a clinical availability which can analogize the result of a part by using the result of the other part.

The Effect of Stress on Emotional Intelligence of Nursing Students Experienced COVID-19 Situation: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Resilience (COVID-19 상황을 경험한 간호대학생의 스트레스가 감성지능에 미치는 영향: 회복탄력성 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The aim of this was to examine the mediating effect of resilience in the relatioinship of stress to emotional intelligence in nursing students experienced COVID-19. The participants in this study were 179 nursing students in 3rd and 4th grade and data were collected using self-reported questionnaires. Data were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 25.0 program, with descriptive statistics x2-test, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation. There were significant correlations between college based stress and emotional intelligence(r=-.33, p<.001), clinical based stress and emotional intelligence(r=-.31, p<.001), resilience and emotional intelligence(r=62, p<.001). Resilience showed partial mediating effects in the relationship between college-based stress and emotional intelligence. Resilience showed full mediating effects in the relationship between clinical-based stress and emotional intelligence(Z=-3.07, p<.001). Based on the findings of this study, the enhancement of resilience may positively affect the emotional intelligence of the nursing students, even while they are stress. Therefore, it is necessary to develop effective strategies to enhance resilience for stress.

  • In order to investigate the relationship between fabric sound parameters and subjective sensation, each sound from 60 fabrics was recorded and analyzed by Fast Fourier transform. Level pressure of total sound (LPT), three coefficients (ARC, ARF, ARE) of auto regressive models, loudness (Z), and sharpness (Z) by Zwickers model were estimated as sound parameters. For subjective evaluation, seven sensation (softness, loudness, sharpness, clearness, roughness, highness, and pleasantness) was rated by both semantic differential scale (SDS) and free modulus magnitude estimation (FMME). As the results, the ARC values were positively proportional to both LPT and loudness (Z) values. In both of SDS and FMME, softness, clearness, and pleasantness were negatively correlated with loudness, sharpness, roughness, and highness. In regression models, softness and clearness by FMME were negatively affected by LPT뭉 ARC, while loudness, sharpness, roughness, and highness were positively expected. Regression models for pleasantness showed low values for R2.

Why Does m-Methyl Substituted Pesticides Show Higher Insecticidal Activity? On the Phenyl N-methylcarbamate and m-xylyl-N-methylcarbamate Derivatives (왜 m-methyl 치환 살충제들은 강한 살충작용을 나타낼까? -Phenyl N-methylcarbamate와 m-xylyl-N-methylcarbamate 유도체들에 관하여-)

  • In order to seek the molecular basis of higher insecticidal activity of the carbamates with two methyl groups, m-xylyl-N-methylcarbamate(MXNMC) than the corresponding unsubstituted phenyl N-methylcarbamate(PNMC), these two derivatives have been studied by molecular orbital(MO) theoretically using extended $H\ddot{u}ckel$ theory(EHT), and analysis of regression and linear free energy relationship(LFER). The most stable stereo structure(Z, Z) shows that the phenyl group occupies vertical(${\theta}=90^{\circ}$) position on the plane of the N-methylcarbamyl group. Regression analysis shows that especially good correlation exists between the $pI_{50}$ values and the calculated MO quantities when the hydrogen atomic charge of metaposition and of m-methyl groups, and LUMO energy are taken as variables. The LFER analysis on the carbamylation indicates that field(F) effect(60%) is slightly larger than resonance(R) effect(40%) in PNMC(E>R), whereas, in case of MXNMC, R effect(98.6%) is much larger than F effect(1.4%)($R{\gg}F$). From the basis on the findings, the enhancement of insecticidal activity of MXNMC may be the result of hyperconjugation by m-methyl groups.

Convergence Study on Mediating Effect of Clinical Competence on the Relationship between Grit and Retention Intention among New Graduate Nurses (신규간호사의 그릿과 재직의도의 관계에서 임상수행능력의 매개효과에 대한 융복합적 연구)

  • This study was conducted to examinate the mediating effect of clinical competence on the relationship between grit and retention intention among new graduate nurses. Participants were 232 nurses working at hospitals with over 300 beds in Korea. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression following the Baron and Kenny method and Sobel test for mediation. As a result, There were significant relationships between grit and clinical competence(r=.38, p=.011), grit and retention intention(r=.32, p=.016), and clinical competence and retention intention(r=.33, p<.001). Clinical competence showed partial mediating effect in the relationship between grit and retention intention(z=3.14, p<.001). The results of this study suggest that interventions enhancing grit would be useful to improve retention intention of new graduate nurses.
