The purpose of this research is to investigate the connection between Stress Response Inventory(SRI), Happiness Index(HI), and Qi-training to find out the meaning of Qi-training on anti-stress. Method: The study group was consisted of 35 subjects training Qi and 179 subjects not training. We bad all subjects to reply to demographic questimnaire, SRI questimnaire and HI questimnaire. We made the Qi-training group write the kinds and periods of Qi seperately. Results and Conclussions : 1. The higer Happines Index score, the subjects bad lower Stress Response Iuventory total score. Each details were connected significantly. 2. The Qi-training group's mean SRI total scores and ill scores were higer than the non-training's significantly. 3. In Qi-training group, mean HI scores get higer as training longer.

This paper presents a low speed (1m/sec) elevator controller with a IGBT inverter (9.5KW). The major engineering problems of this development are noise suppression, thermal-dissipation and reliability improvement. The characteristic marks of this elevator are a single board controller, 40% reduced component, 40% reduced cubic content, EMI filter, vector controlled IGBT inverter.

Protopine is an isoquinoline alkaloid contained in plants in northeast Asia. In this study, we investigated whether protopine derived from Hypecoum erectum L could suppress lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced inflammatory responses in murine macrophages (Raw 264.7 cells). Protopine was found to reduce nitric oxide (NO), cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), and prostaglandin $E_2$ ($PGE_2$) production by LPS-stimulated Raw 264.7 cells, without a cytotoxic effect. Pre-treatment of Raw 264.7 cells with protopine reduced the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines. These inhibitory effects were caused by blocking phosphorylation of mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAP kinases) and also blocking activation of a nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells (NF-${\kappa}B$).

For the purpose of standardization and practicability of natural dyeing, the mordanting and dyeing properties of Puerariae Radix was studied. Appropriate extraction, dyeing and mordanting condition of Puerariae Radix were determined, and the effect of mordanting method on dye uptake and color fastness of dyed fabric was investigated. The maximum absorbance of Puerariae Radix solution was at 290nm and 301nm. The pH effect was stable in the color difference changes. The optimum temperature to extract Puerariae Radix was during 1 hour in loot. The effective dyeing temperature and time of silk were 80$\~$ 100$^{circ}C$, 1hour. The silk fabrics dyed with Puerariae Radix appeared yellow-brown. US value of dyeing fabrics was increased by Fe, and Cu mordant treatment. Mordanting treatment method affected color change of the dyed silk. In the case of Puerariae Radix light fastness of appeared more than 2-5 grades by mordant treatment. Perspiration fastness of appered more than 4 grades by Al, Sn, Cr mordant treatment. Fastness of abrasion and dry-cleaning appered more than 4-5 grades. These fastness improvement were generally effective for mordant treatment, specially Al, Sn, Cr.

Intracellular accumulation of bile acids in the hepatocytes during cholestasis is thought to be pathogenic in cholestatic liver injury. Due to the detergent-like effect of the hydrophobic bile acids, hepatocellular injury has been attributed to direct membrane damage. However histological findings of cholestatic liver diseases suggest apoptosis can be a mechanism of cell death during cholestatic liver diseases instead of necrosis. To determine the pattern of hepatocellular toxicity induced by bile acid, we incubated primary cultured rat hepatocytes with a hydrophobic bile acid, Glycochenodeoxycholate (GCDC), up to 5 hours. After 5 hours incubation with $400\;{\mu}M$ GCDC, lactate dehydrogenase released significantly. Cell viability, quantitated in propidium iodide stained cells concomitant with fluoresceindiacetate was decreased time- and dose-dependently. Most nuclei with condensed chromatin and shrunk cytoplasm were heavily labelled time- and dose-dependently by a positive TUNEL reaction. These findings suggest that both apoptosis and necrosis are involved in hepatocytes injury caused by GCDC.

As the modern-day Apartment Complex has varied community facilities such as health care center and self-improvement institutions affecting the residents' quality of life, this paper is for the in-depth understanding on how such Exterior Space vary and development plan should go. To be specific, this paper is to, based upon the theoretical contemplation on the concept and role of the Exterior Space to Apartment Complex, as well as drawing a conclusion on the development plan for subject areas as assessed. Subject areas of this paper are a total of twelve Apartment Complexes built since Year 2005 in nine different regions in Seoul. As such specialties and features as leisure of the senior citizen and female residents, the subject Apartment Complexes have provided opportunities, active and inactive, to the residents for leisure by qualitative improvement of facilities, as well as establishing the discrete brand value for the Exterior Space with featured design and spatial properties. Also notable is the eco-friendliness of the Exterior Space with cutting-edge technology, eventually appreciating the value of Apartment Complex.

Primary dissection of the renal artery is rare. Spontaneous renal artery dissection can be associated with diseases such as medial degeneration, neurofibromatosis, syphilitic arteritis, tuberculosis, polyarteritis nodosa, Marfan syndrome, fibromuscular dysplasia, or Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS). Among these causes, EDS related renal artery dissection is very rare worldwide and has not been previously reported in Korea. EDS are a group of heritable connective tissue disorders characterized by fragility of the skin and hypermobility of the joints. We describe the case history of a young man who presented with left side flank pain, hypermobility of the hand joints and showed left renal artery dissection on computed tomography and angiography that turned out to be the first complication of vascular type EDS.

Six new serovarieties of B. thuringiensis carrying specific H-antigen have minor differences in biochemical characteristics and morphological characteristics of crystals, which are commonly resistant against four antibiotics. The B. thuringiensis serovar. coreanensis is nontoxic to silkworm larvae, but it is moderately toxic against the Culex pipiens larvae. The B. thuringiensis serovar. konkukian and leesis are nontoxic against mosquitos larvae, but are toxic against silkworm larvae. The B. thuringiensis serovar. seoulensis, sooncheon, and yosoo are highly toxic to B. mori larvae and moderately toxic to C. pipiens larvae. The six serovarieties harbor different plasmid DNA patterns. A 102-kDa protein is a major crystal protein in the four serovarieties and a 86-kDa protein is in one serovariety.

It it is violated this order, it brings about confusion of functional activities of Qi(氣機) and it has a effect upon the five regions of the heart, the lungs, the intestines and stomach(腸胃), the limbs, the head so each differently symptoms come out, this is given a name to wu luan(五亂). this volume are described symptoms and law of cure of wu luan(五亂) therefore this is so called wu luan(五亂). this volume is divided three chapters according to contents, what can be acquired are summarized so follows: 1. chapter deals with symtematic order of functional activities of qi(氣機) 2. chaper deals with what confusion of functional activities of qi(氣機) bring out disease of wu luan(五亂) 3 chapter deals with needle-steadying technique(刺法) of curing wu luan(五亂).
