Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the factors affecting mental health in the use of social welfare services by male elderly, and to provide basic data that are helpful for integrated mental health promotion programs suitable for each region by comparing and analyzing the Yeongnam-Honam. Results: As a result of the analysis, when comparing the two regions, annual income, age, and physical health were found to be the influencing factors among the personal characteristics of male elderly in the Yeongnam, and caring services were found to be the influencing factors of social welfare services. Among the personal characteristics of male elderly in Honam, annual income, age, and physical health were found to be the influencing factors, and caring services were found to be the influencing factors of social welfare services. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, three implications are presented as follows. First, it suggests that mandatory checkups are required not only for the physical health of male elderly, but also for the mental health. Second, the necessity of social welfare service policies that link health and welfare is presented. Third, the necessity of specialized mental health and welfare services by region is presented.

In this paper, newspaper articles were collected through '5.18' keyword search results and the news corpus was constructed from the collected data. In the articles of local newspapers 'Honam' and 'Yeongnam', the ideological differences regarding '5.18' were investigated. The ideological differences of local newspaper discourse through objective figures was analyzed.. The subjects of the newspaper articles, the frequency of nouns and predicates were analyzed. The use and meaning of the intended vocabulary were examined. As a result of analyzing the title of the newspaper article, the discourse written in 'Honam' emphasized the necessity of re - recognition of 5.18. In both regions, the word "Gwangju" is often used. However, 'Gwangju' in 'Honam' newspaper means spiritual space, not physical space. In Honam regional newspapers, there are many vocabularies describing the events such as 'shoot' and 'fire', this calls for recollection and memory of '5.18'. In the analysis of newspaper discourse, the analysis of the contrast between the local newspapers was very insignificant, but, this study was conducted to analyze the discourse among local newspapers.

'Sinunbong 1' is a japonica rice cultivar developed from the cross between "Sangjubyeo", high yield cultivar and 'Unbong 17', cold tolerance at Honam Agricultural Research Institute (HARI), NICS, RDA, in 2005. This cultivar has a short grain shape and about 111 days growth duration from transplanting to harvesting in Korean climate condition. This cultivar shows high resistant reaction to the blast, but susceptible to bacterial blight and strip virus. This variety has cold tolerance, compared to Odaebyeo. The milled kernels of 'Sinunbong 1' are translucent with non-glutinous endosperm. It has about 19.2% of amylose content and better palatability of cooked rice compared with 'Odaebyeo'. The milled rice yield of 'Sinunbong 1' is about 5.46 MT/ha under the standard fertilizer level of the ordinary transplanting cultivation. 'Sinunbong 1' would be adaptable to the northern plain, mid-mountainous, southern mountainous of Korea.

This study investigated the best condition when mixed sand with a river and crushed sand was used though the experiment for the properties of the concrete corresponding to the control of fine aggregate ratio to apply the mixed sand and properties of the fine aggregate at the ready-mixed concrete factory on Yeongnam and Honam. The physical properties of Yeongnam and Honam is satisfied with KS F 2526 and KS F 2527 except fineness modulus and passing amount of 8mm sieve. And, the mixed sand above two types which were incongruent to use individually was being used at each factory, and it was managed in accordance with KS. The flowabillity of the mixture proportion of concrete which was estimated by method of unit volume weight according to the fine aggregate ratio at each factory on Yeongnam and Honam was higher than existing mixture proportion. It was analyzed that the residual water due to decline of the surface area caused by reducing fine aggregate ratio was increased relatively. Accordingly, it was considered that the effect on the economic mixture proportion and improvement of durability might be possible.
