The CrN/TiN/Al thin films for solar selective absorber were prepared by dc reactive magnetron sputtering with multi targets. The binary nitride CrN layer deposited with change in N₂ gas flow rates. The gas mixture of Ar and N2 was an important parameter during sputtering deposition because the metal volume fraction (MVF) was controlled by the N2 gas flow rate. In this study, the crystallinity and surface properties of the CrN/TiN/Al thin films were estimated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), atomic force microscopy (AFM) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). The composition and depth profile of thin films were investigated using Auger electron spectroscopy (AES). The absorptance and reflectance with wavelength spectrum were recorded by UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometry at a range of 300~1,100 nm.

Abelmoschus manihot (Linn.) is a medicinal herbal plant that is commonly used to treat chronic kidney disease and hepatitis. However, its effect on cell proliferation has not been clearly revealed. In this report, we sought to determine the effect of the flower extract of A. manihot (FA) on cell proliferation. Based on our findings, FA increased the proliferation of human diploid fibroblast (HDF) and HEK293 cells. Through cell cycle analysis, FA was found to increase the number of HDF cells in the S phase and G2/M phase. FA also increased the expression of cyclin D1 and enhanced the migration of HDF cells. By administering FA to HDF cells with ≥30 passages, a decrease in the number of senescence-associated β galactosidase-positive cells was observed, thereby indicating that FA can ameliorate cellular senescence. Collectively, our findings indicate that FA increases cyclin D1 expression and regulates cell proliferation.

SWAT 모형을 사용하여 수문 및 환경인자들의 예측에 있어서 수문응답단위(Hydrological Response Unit, HRU) 수를 적절하게 결정하는 것은 매우 중요하다. SWAT 모형에서는 수문응답단위라는 계산단위를 통하여 모형의 입력매개변수를 생성하고 모의를 수행하기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 SWAT모형에서 하천유역의 적절한 HRU 수를 결정하기 위하여 대상유역을 낙동강의 제 1지류이자 국제수문개발계획(International Hydrologic Project, IHP)의 국내 대표유역 중 하나인 위천유역으로 선정하였으며, 토지이용과 토양의 면적비를 조정함으로써 HRU 수를 여러 단계로 적용하여 유출량, 유사량 및 영양염류를 모의하였다. SWAT 모형의 적용을 위하여 위천 유역의 $DEM(30m{\times}30m)$, 토지이용도(1:25,000), 토양도(1:25,000) 등의 GIS 자료와 강우량 및 기상자료를 이용하였다. 본 논문은 위천 유역에 대한 적절한 HRU 수의 기준을 제시하였으며, 이와 같은 분석결과를 이용하여 모형의 입력자료 구축시간을 단축할 수 있어 차후 모형의 적용시에 모형의 적용 효율을 높일 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

본고에서는 여헌을 주인공으로 한 설화를 대상으로 하여 설화 전승의 주체인 민중들이 여헌을 어떻게 형상화하고 있는지를 살펴보았다. 현전하는 여헌 관련 설화는 무례한 관찰사 아들을 너그럽게 용서한<장현광의 소탈한 성품>, 의성 현령(縣令) 시 오월비상(五月飛霜)을 예견해 냉해를 막아낸 <여헌 선생의 예언>, 충북 보은의 '치마바위'와 청송 '여헌대'의 지명 유래 설화인 <치마바위>와 <여헌대> 4종밖에 되지 않는다. <장현광의 소탈한 성품>은 초라한 행색을 한 자신을 몰라보고 무례하게 군 젊은이를 너그럽게 용서하고 '검소함'과 '겸손'을 깨우쳐 주는 대학자의 소탈하고 너그러운 인품을 보여 준다. <여헌 선생의 예언>에는 백성들을 유교적 도덕으로 교화시키며, 백성들의 생업을 진작하기 위해서 힘쓰는 애민의식이 투철한 목민관의 모습이 그려져 있다. <치마바위>는 아내가 백성들로부터 전별 선물로 받은 비단 속곳마저 돌려주도록 한 청렴결백한 관리의 모습을 형상화하였으며, <여헌 선생의 예언>과 <여헌대>에는 앞날을 예견하는 비범한 도학자의 모습이 그려지고 있다. 이들 설화는 대체로 그의 성품이나 행적, 실제 사건 등을 토대로 하여 형성된 것으로 보이는데, 설화 속의 여헌의 형상은 '검소하고, 겸손하며, 도량이 넓고, 주역에 통달하였으며, 도덕적 경세관(經世觀)을 실천한' 그의 실제 모습에 근접해 있음을 알 수 있다.

Even though there has been a great deal of research and development for the compression techniques such as H.263, MPEG-1, and MPEG-2 in DVR systems, an efficient scheme for storing, accessing, and managing the huge amount of video data from multi-channel cameras needs to be developed. In this paper, we describe an implementation of MPEG-4 encoder for PC-based real-time multi-channel DVR systems.

The purpose of this study is developing a disaster prevention information system using Internet GIS to manage disaster information more efficiently and timely. This system has good potential with environment of Internet which has appropriate characteristics of rapidity, wide reach, generality, cost effectivity for disaster management. With this system, general user can easily retrieve disaster information with visuality such as maps. graphs, and texts just by using web browsers. Hence the need of developing Internet GIS system for disaster prevention is growing in these days.

Open loop microstepping control of two phase hybrid step motors provides enhanced step resolution, smoothness of operation, and removes most of the objectionable resonance phenomena. In this paper, we discuss the technigues about design and implementation of microstepping driver of two phase hybrid step motors.
