뇌-컴퓨터-인터페이스를 위한 EEG 기반의 피험자 반응시간 감지 (EEG-based Subjects' Response Time Detection for Brain-Computer-Interface)

  • 본 논문에서는 인지적 긍정/부정 선택 과제의 수행 시 뇌파를 이용하여 피험자의 반응시간 RT(response time)를 예측하는 방법에 관하여 기술한다. 실험 task에서 피험자는 시각적 자극에 대한 반응, 문제의 해석, 손 움직임의 조절, 손동작 등과 관련된 뇌활동을 한다. 이와 같은 피험자의 정신상태의 변화를 CT(cut time), ST(selection time), RP(repeated period) 등을 정의하여 모델링하고, 선택시간 ST를 감지하여 피험자의 반응시간 RT를 예측한다. ST를 감지하기 위하여 측정한 뇌파로부터 $\alpha$, $\beta$, ${\gamma}$파를 분리하고, 공간적인 관계를 고려하여 설정한 4쌍의 전극들로부터 3가지의 특징들을 추출한다. 추출한 특징들을 분석하여 각 피험자별로 나타나는 상세 규칙(specific rule)과 공통적인 특징들로 구성된 일반 규칙(meta rule)들을 설정한다. 8명의 피험자를 대상으로 설정한 규칙들을 적용하여 평균 83%의 ST 감지 성공률을 보이고, ST 감지 이후 약 0.73초에서 RT가 나타나는 것을 보인다. 설정한 규칙들의 타당성을 검증하기 위하여 8명 중 2명의 피험자에 대해서 재실험을 하고, 이들 데이타에 적용한 결과를 보인다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법을 기존의 인지적인 정신상태 판별을 위한 방법들이나 왼손/오른손 동작구분 방법들과 결합하여 사용할 경우 BCI를 위한 기반 기술로 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

치위생과와 비치위생과 학생의 잇솔질과 구강위생보조용품의 사용실태 비교연구 (A Comparative Study on for the Use of Auxiliary Oral Hygiene Devices and Tooth Brushing between Dental Hygiene Students and Non-Dental Hygiene Students)

  • 본 연구는 S보건대학에 재학 중인 치위생과와 비치위생과 재학생 287여명을 대상으로 구강건강향상을 위한 잇솔질과 구강위생보조용품의 사용 실태를 비교 분석하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 잇솔질에 관한 특성부분에서 두과 모두 잇솔질 횟수는 하루에 2-3번(p < 0.05), 사용기간은 2-5개월(p > 0.05), 잇솔질 방법은 두 과 모두 안다고 조사되었으나(p > 0.05), 잇솔모의 사용에서는 치위생과는 보통모(51.2%), 비치위생과는 부드러운모(51.5%)로 조사되었다(p > 0.05). 2. 치실고리, 고무치간자극기, 물사출기, 혀세정기에 관한 인지도, 현재사용여부에서 두 과는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았으나(p > 0.05), 용도이해부분에서 유의한 차이를 보였다(p < 0.05). 3. 전동칫솔, 가그린에 관한 인지도, 현재사용여부에서 두 과는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다(p > 0.05).

배전자동화시스템에서 1선 지락 고장 시 고장구간 판단방법 (Faulted Section Identification Method in Case of Single Line to Ground Fault)

  • The DAS(Distribution Atomization System) determines a faulted section by using a FI(Fault Indicator) when the fault is occurred on the distribution networks. Sometimes FI is malfunction when the ground fault is occurred on a the distribution networks. As a result difficulties to make decision of faulted section. The cause of the FI malfunction is that the determination using the limited information of the installed area. In this study, a method is proposed to determine faulted section using the amount of the fault current instead of using the FI. This method is determinated faulted section using the fuzzy inference for the collected information from the all switches. The usefulness of the proposed algorithm is verified through the simulation test using PSCAD/EMTDC.

한국어 문미억양에 관한 연구 (A Study on Sentence Final Intonations in Korea)

  • This study has two objectives. ft attempts to describe the forms and (He functions of sentence final intonations in Korean, and it also attempts to deal with the relationship between questions and rising intonation for Korean and English. The contents of this study are as follows. In Chapter 2, the version of Korean(standard Korean) which this study is assumed to analyse, the sources of material involved, and the method and scope of analysis are stated. Chapter 3, which is a preparatory stage for the analysis of the function of intonation in standard Korean in Chapter 4, classifies the material according to the type of intonation used. In Chapter 4i the discussion is entirely devoted to the function of Korean intonation. The conclusions of Chapter 4 are as follows: Firstly, intonation contours in Korean have the function of distinguishing the sentence types; the falling contour marks declaratives, Wh- interrogatives and imperatives, while the rising contour marks yes/no interrogatives. However, it is interesting to note that in the interrogative sentences with the inflectional ending '-chi', a very different phenomenon is observed; that is to say, most of yes/no interrogatives are marked by the falling contour and all of Wh- interrogatives by the rising one. Secondly, the falling contour in Korean is typically employed in performing the illocutionary act of assertion in rhetorical and tag questions. Thirdly, the intonation in Korean contributes to express the speaker's special attitudes or emotions. In Chapter 5, where the relationship between questions and rising intonation is examined, Liberman's theory turns out to be untenable. Further-more. this thesis shows that an explanation of the relationship between questions and rising intonation should have its basis on general linguistic facts.

소아(小兒) 행동양식(行動樣式)과 소증(素症)의 관련성(關聯性)에 관한 탐색적(探索的) 연구(硏究) (A Study for Corelation between Action Type and Physical Symptoms in Children)

  • Objective : This study was designed for find corelation between behavior and physical symptoms in child. Physical symptoms appearing related with weak viscera are selected. And behaviors related to selected symptoms are compared that of children with character type defined by jung, c. G. Method: 497 children ( 3-11 years old ) who have visited two oriental clinic ( one is in Gang-Nam Gu Seoul (282 children), the other is in Joong-Rang Gu Seoul (215 children) ) from Jan. to Jul. 2006 were invested through the questionnaires, which were filled by their parents. These questionnaires have 61 yes-no type questions about behaviors on 12 situations, 36 yes no type questions about physical symptoms in 15 categories. 6 questions expected positive answer in child with weak spleen are categorized sp-q and 6 related weak lung, lu-q, 6 related weak kidney, ki-q. Numbers of positive answers in sp-q, lu-q and ki-q are counted so-index, lu-index and ki-index each. Corelation between behavior questions and 3 symptom indexes are measured and questions shown low significance level ( under 5% in pearson corelation, two-tailed ) are selected. Result: 15 behaviors related sp-index, 12 related lu-index, 12 related ki-index are selected and analysed. Conclusion : 1. Behaviors related sp-index is similar to that of Thinking Type children Grouped by jung, c. G.. 2. Behaviors related lu-index is similar to that of Sensation Type. 3. Behaviors related sp-index is similar to that of Feeling Type.

Classification System of EEG Signals During Mental Tasks

  • We propose accurate classification method of EEG signals during mental tasks. In the experimental task, the tasks of subjects show 3 major measurements; there are mathematical tasks, color decision tasks, and Chinese phrase tasks. The classifier implemented for this work is a feed-forward neural network that trained with the error back-propagation algorithm. The new BCI system is proposed by using neural network. In this system, tr e architecture of the neural network is composed of three layers with a feed-forward network, which implements the error back propagation-learning algorithm. By applying this algorithm to 4 subjects, we achieved $95{\%}$ classification rates. The results for BCI mathematical task experiments show performance better than those of the Chinese phrase tasks. The selection time of each task depends on the mental task of subjects. We expect that the proposed detection method can be a basic technology for brain-computer interface by combining with left/right hand movement or yes/no discrimination methods.

  • This paper proposes an improved fault indication algorithm in a distribution automation system. A conventional fault indication method, so called YES-NO algorithm, could generate wrong informations under certain conditions such as line to ground fault, large motor double circuit line. In order to prevent mal-operation of fault indicator, direction of fault current are used as well as magnitude. The feasibility of the proposed algorithm has been testified by computer simulation using Matlab power system toolbox.

  • We generally use Yes-No algorithms for feeder automation algorithm. This logic determines the faulty section by fault current detection information of the fault indicators of each switches in distribution feeder. This paper presents the data acquisition method such as breaker's open status in fault and the determination method of faulty section using fault indicator's information of each switches.

실과교과의 교수 .학습 방법에 대한 교사들의 인식 (The Perception of Teachers on the Instructional Method of Practical Arts Education)

  • This study examined teacher perception of the instructional method. activities and material in terms of class quality enhancement. Also this study established instructional method. activities and material application Per 7th Practical Arts Education Course guidance domain. and type identification of the instructional method and activities unique to the Practical arts curriculum. Conclusions : 1. Teachers consider the instructional method and material beneficial. However in the item relevant to application of diverse instructional methods Per specific teaching objective and educational content in the actual classroom. the highest percentage responding. ‘relatively yes’ (39.7%) . balanced out with those answering. ‘no’(37.7%) 2. In linking the instructional method and material to secondary school home economics education, teachers experienced difficulty in teaching only the clothing education domain . 3. In each guidance domain, lecture method, problem-solving learning. cooperative learning. home project learning and functional learning were surveyed for instructional method suitability. Notably, home project learning was identified as a significant instructional method. This result begs in-dept analysis as home project learning may be utilized as a tool to compensate for the absence of practical educational objective condition fulfillment and to substitute for teachers unable to Provide such functional guidance in class. 4. In each guidance domain. role-playing. debate/discussion. case study research, practical exercise and activity reporting were rated as essential teaching ㆍ learning activities. 5. In each guidance domain.‘VCR’, ‘CD-ROM’ and ‘Web media’ were identified as suitable instructional materials .

초등학교 고학년생의 응급처치 교육실태 및 교육 요구도 (A Study on The Actual Condition and Demand Assessment of First Aid Education on Higher Grade Students in Elementary School)

  • Background and Purpose : Higher grade students in elementary schools are most adequate subjects for first aid training. The purpose of this study was to assess first aid education and needs of higher grade students in elementary schools. Method : The subjects of this study were 183 higher grade students from 8 elementary schools. Data were collected by the questionnaire during the period from March 19 to April 13, 2007. The data were analyzed through frequency, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, Independent Two samples t-test, One Way ANOVA by SPSS win 12.0. Result : 1. It showed that 78.1%(143 persons) of sujects answered that they learned first aid. 65% of sujects learned in the school(65%). 61.2% of sujects were taught by health teachers. 36.7%(67 person) of subjects was educated using practice with demonstration including lecture. Learned contents were action at emergency(50.8%), CPR(36.6%), splint (33.9%). 2. It showed that 90.2%(165 persons) of subjects answered that first aid and CPR education are necessary. Also 74.9%(137 persons) of subjects answered that will be educated first aid and CPR if opportunities is given. The 53.3%(73 persons) of subjects wanted teaching method using practice with demonstration including lecture. 3. The total mean showed $2.29{\pm}.48$ in needs of first aid education by 3 points Likert scale. Needs of first aid education was ranked Heimlich maneuver($2.41{\pm}.65$), splint and bandaging($2.38{\pm}.59$). Priority of intensive training showed patient assessment(38.0%) and CPR(19.7%) in first, splint and bandging(22.6%), CPR(21.9%) and Heimlich maneuver(21.9%) in second. 4. The needs assessment of first aid education showed statistically significant differences according to teaching method(F = 2.563, p = .025), education necessity yes or no(F = 2.474, p = .015), attending future education yes or no(F = 2.253, p = .026). Conclusion : These results suggest that First aid education for higher grade students in elementary schools must be consisted of most adequate content and method based on current education condition and needs assessment.
