Online Face Avatar Motion Control based on Face Tracking

  • In this paper, a novel system for avatar motion controlling by tracking face is presented. The system is composed of three main parts: firstly, LCS (Local Cluster Searching) method based face feature detection algorithm, secondly, HMM based feature points recognition algorithm, and finally, avatar controlling and animation generation algorithm. In LCS method, face region can be divided into many small piece regions in horizontal and vertical direction. Then the method will judge each cross point that if it is an object point, edge point or the background point. The HMM method will distinguish the mouth, eyes, nose etc. from these feature points. Based on the detected facial feature points, the 3D avatar is controlled by two ways: avatar orientation and animation, the avatar orientation controlling information can be acquired by analyzing facial geometric information; avatar animation can be generated from the face feature points smoothly. And finally for evaluating performance of the developed system, we implement the system on Window XP OS, the results show that the system can have an excellent performance.

  • Fixture 일체형 LED 다운라이트(Downlight)의 광 효율 향상을 위하여 LED 장착위치 및 Reflector 길이, 히트싱크(Heat sink) 형태에 따른 광도(luminous intensity)와 기구효율(luminaire efficiency)을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 비교분석 하였다. 또한 히트싱크의 방열 설계를 시뮬레이션 하고 상용 LED 패키지 (Cree, XP-E P4)를 사용하여 시제품을 제작 하여 그 성능을 평가하였다. 그 결과 광속 9661m, 상관 색온도(CCT) 3,060K, 연색지수(CRI) 82의 광 특성을 갖는 LED 다운라이트를 개발하였다.

Agile Software Development Framework in a Small Project Environment

  • Agile methods are highly attractive for small projects, but no agile method works well as a standalone system. Therefore, some adaption or customization is always required. In this paper, the Agile Framework for Small Projects (AFSP) was applied to four industry cases. The AFSP provides a structured way for software organizations to adopt agile practices and evaluate the results. The framework includes an extended Scrum process and agile practices, which are based on agility and critical success factors in agile software projects that are selected from Scrum, XP, FDD, DSDM and Crystal Clear. AFSP also helps software managers and developers effectively use agile engineering techniques throughout the software development lifecycle. The case study projects were evaluated on the basis of risk-based agility factors, the agility of the adopted practices, agile adoption levels, and the degree of the agile project success. The analysis of the results showed that the framework used in the aforementioned cases was effective.

  • 본 논문에서는 Manta 형상 무인잠수정의 자유항주모델을 설계하였고 이를 이용하여 제어실험을 실시하였다. 제작된 MUUTV모형은 직진방향으로 1개의 추진기를 가지고 있으며, 승강타와 방향타를 이용하여 수심 및 방향 제어를 실시하게된다. MUUTV는 수심제어시 사용되는 수심을 측정하기 위한 압력센서, 방향제어를 위해 방향각 측정을 위한 마그네틱 컴파스가 설치되어있으며, 잠수정의 전체적인 운용을 위한 Windows XP기반의 소형 On-board PC104가 장착되어있다. 시뮬레이션에 사용된 6자유도 운동모델은 PMM실험과 이론적 추정을 통해 얻어진 유체동역학계수와 파라미터를 이용하여 구성된다. 잠수정의 운동성능과 제어응답을 비교하기 위해 PID, 슬라이딩모드, 퍼지, 제어기가 설계되었으며, 이를 통해 제어 성능을 비교하고자 하였다. 또한 제작된 모델을 이용하여 수심 및 방향제어 실험을 수조에서 실시하였다.

  • Automatic measurement system is required since cycle time and cost of production are increased by various factors in manual systems. This paper presents a machine vision based prototype measurement system for the automotive axisymmetric shape parts which are generally measured by a manual system that is required the tolerance of the part is very small on each machined surface. This measurement system adopts a method in which optical lens is transferred along the profile of the part to minimize measurement cycle time. The main interest of this paper is a development of an optimum measurement algorithm to the outside diameter of the parts that can be applied to various combinations of hardware. The operating system used to implement the whole system is Window XP and corresponding environment.

  • SrTiO3(100) 단결정을 3keV 아르곤이온으로 에칭하면 표면원소의 산화 상태가 환원되고 표면의 거칠기가 증가하는 것이 XPS와 SEM으로 측정되었다. 그러나 3keV의 산소이온으로 에칭하면 표면원소 의 화학적 상태도 변하지 않고 표면도 평탄한 상태로 계속 유지된다. 산소 이온에 의하여 에칭된 SrTiO3 기판상에 off-axis rf 스퍼트링 방법으로 성장된 YBa2Cu3Ox 박막이 아르곤 이온에 의하여 에칭 된 SrTiO3 기판상에 성장된 YBa2Cu3Ox 박막보다 높은 Tc,zero and Jc를 보여주었다. 이논문은 YBCO초전 도 박막의 성장과 전자공학적 활용을 위한 리토그라피 공정에서 이온밀링 공정의 조건은 매우 주의하여 선택되어야 함을 보여준다.

  • In this paper, we designed the bay control unit that is based on the microprocessors and integrates with the new technology of electrical, electronic, and mechanical fields. Nowadays the customers have required much more integrates multi protection relay, monitoring, control devices and power management for better and easier maintenance, performance, electrical system analysis and communication according to new trend of switchboard. This bay controller supplies those requirements of customers with easy handling and operation. This bay controller provides a graphic display with rear-lit liquid crystal LCD and push buttons as kinds of HMI. This bay controller provides the parameter setting program, various editors and fault recording and analysis program on Windows/95/98/NT/2000/XP for HMI. In addition, this bay controller can be set manually and this manual setting function helps user to interface easily.

  • 본 연구에서 3차원 지형공간정보의 구축 및 처리, 가시화를 위하여 개인용 PC와 임베디드 단말기의 포켓 PC환경에서 자료 호환 및 동시 운영이 가능한 실시간 3차원 GIS의 Prototype의 설계 및 구현과 적용 실험을 하고자 한다 OpenGL(Open Graphic Library)과 OpenGL|ES (Embedded System)를 활용하여 도시경관을 구성하는 주요객체인 지형, 건물, 교통, 식생 등을 통합적으로 저작 및 3D 객체 모델링 및 렌더링이 통합 및 개별 운영 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 구현 단계에서 개인용 PC 운영환경에서는 기능성 향상에 중점을 두어 공간 데이터베이스 설계, 텍스처 영상 매핑처리, 대용량의 3차원 공간정보 처리 및 관리, 가시화, 렌더링, 모델링 기능들을 제공하며, PDA 휴대용 단말운영환경을 지원하는 모바일 시스템에서는 실시간 모바일 저작기능과 렌더링 기능에 주안점을 두어 개발하였다. 한편 연구 결과로 구현된 시스템은 원도우 XP 기반의 개인용 PC와 PDA 단말기 상에서 3D 객체 자료구조가 호환되어 향후 다양한 응용이 가능할 것으로 생각된다.
