Due to its role in maintaining the health of scientific societies, research ethics (or integrity) is notably receiving attention by academia, governments and even individuals who are not engaged in scientific researches. In this paper, I will introduce some valuable papers dealt with plagiarism as a representative research misconduct. In general, researcher's results that will soon be published must meet the crucial scientific criteria: originality, accuracy, reproducibility, precision and research ethics. The definition of plagiarism is "appropriation of another person's ideas, processes, results, or words without giving appropriate credit." Compared to fabrication and falcification, plagiarism is often considered as a minor misconduct. With intentionality, however, plagiarism can be corresponding to 'theft of intellectual product'. The context of plagiarism is not restricted to the stage of publication. It can be extended to prior stages of proposing (i.e. preparing the research proposal) and performing (executing the research), and reviewing (writing the review papers). Duplicate publication is regarded as a self-plagiarism in broad interpretation of plagiarism. To avoid dangers of plagiarism, earnest efforts from all members of scientific community are needed. First of all, researchers should keep 'transparency' and 'integrity' in their scientific works. Editorial board members and reviewers should keep fairness and well-deserved qualification. Government and research foundations must be willing to provide sufficient financial and policy support to the scientific societies; Up-graded editorial services, making good use of plagiarism detection tools, and thorough instruction on how to write a honest scientific paper will contribute to building up a healthy basis for scientific communities.
This study's goal is to consider deeper about the Context-Communication Study on candidates of future petty officers in community colleagues, therefore the study uses theoretical approaches of the communications based on literature research. The petty officer majors in community colleagues need to set a curriculum to achieve the goal of the Context-Communication Study. The class, which is a continuous class from freshman to sophomore year, needs to be designed as a combination class of command/discipline major classes and communication studies. This study shows the detail ways of the Context-Communication Study to bring student's interests by using simulation studies with writing papers, training interviews, and presentations which all will be checked by their instructors. Instructors will get students to the point that they have upscale communication abilities and language abilities. Finally, this study shows limitations of the Context-Communication Study and suggests the further direction of research.

Purpose: Purpose of this study was to identify major trends of action research from 2006 to 2013 and suggest directions for activating and advancing domestic action research in nursing. Methods: A review was made of 118 action research studies in hospital settings reported in international journals. Search from PubMed, Ovid, and CINHAL was done using analysis criteria developed by the researchers. General and methodological characteristics and focus on changing outcomes of action research were analyzed. Results: The major group of researchers belonged to colleges/universities (40.7%). Methods included use of qualitative methods (61.0%), research questions (24.6%), and use of theoretical models (35.6%). Prevalent data collection methods were interviews (20.2%), and 48.3% showed more than a 1-cycle process including spiral circulation structure. Focus of changing outcomes of the 56 papers including more than 1-cycle were practice (66.1%), environment (8.9%), client-nurse (7.1%). Conclusion: Trends in action research in nursing were identified providing necessary reasons to increase action research in nursing as follows: needs of various researchers including stakeholders as well as healthcare providers, various research designs including unconstrained reflection and writing, specific presentation of adapted theoretical models and action strategies, and quality assurance for validity and reliability of research processes and outcomes.

After M. Porter proposed the concept of industrial cluster, a lot of academic papers and industry surveys have suggested that industrial cluster is the key factor to competitive edge and long-term economic growth. Industrial cluster is often defined as geographical concentrations of interconnected entities in a particular industrial field. And the agglomeration economy is regarded the key factor of developing the industrial clusters. The industrial clusters often have been growing over the territory of local governments. Therefor, the institutes supporting the industrial clusters and the companies in great-sphere level is required. The purpose of this paper is for comparing and analysing the institutes supporting the industrial clusters and the companies in great-sphere level including various local governments. As the result of this research, four types of the cooperative industrial supporting systems among various local governments are divided: 1. inducing foreign direct investment into domestic area by regional development agency, 2. co-developing research parks or industrial parks by some local governments, 3. taking regional industrial statistics and writing development strategies over the boundary of the local governments, 4. constructing internet portal sites networking the local companies, universities, research centers of the same industrial cluster.

High loading of printing and writing grades with fillers has many advantageous aspects in papermaking because it allows decreasing fiber use and reducing manufacturing cost. High loading technology, however, has some disadvantageous aspects as well. It decreases physical properties of papers, especially strength properties. The problem associated with high loading can be reduced by applying surface sizing starch solution onto paper surface. It is important to control the penetration of the surface sizing starch solution into paper web to obtain the desired property improvement. In this study, the effect of the addition of two polymers into starch solution on paper properties has been examined. PVOH and polyDADMAC were used as polymeric additives for surface sizing with oxidized starch. Viscosity of starch solutions and surface roughness of dried starch films on glass slides showed that some interactions between polymeric additives and oxidized starch have been occurred and the most extensive interaction with starch solution was obtained with high molecular weight polyDADMAC. Low molecular weight PVOH was most effective in improving folding endurance and internal bond strength. On the other hand, polymer addition showed no effect on surface strength of paper. This indicates that not the level of starch holdout but the bonding strength of starch itself has predominant influence on surface strength of paper.
Although over - 600 students in Incheon has been participated in the gifted education programs under the colleges and Office of Education Department every year, it is reported that the number of teachers have insufficient teaching abilities in primary, advanced, and after-advanced gifted classes. The Gifted Education Research Institute in Incheon University introduced R&E activities for the improvement of teachers' abilities in science research and student guiding. Professors in science department conducted the R & E activities to select the research thesis. The professors and the guidance teachers decided the directions of the research, and the guidance teachers who learned from the professors taught 3-5 students to practice the research. Five professor-teacher-student research teams in math, physics, chemistry and biology conducted the research after school and during the vacation for 7 months. The results of the research were submitted to the journals of research activities and the result papers were presented to the seminar. On this research, the possibilities and the difficulties of the R&E activities based of the journals of research activities, oral presentation and the research results reports were analyzed with a purpose of improving the professionalism of the science gifted teachers. Although the professors proposed many difficulties or problems about the R&E activities, the teachers reported that the R & E activities he1ped them to improve their research activities and student guiding techniques. The teachers acquired more knowledge on the principles of the science related areas than before. Moreover, they thought it was very meaningful experience in using the science related instruments, guiding the students' research and writing the research reports. The students also gave the positive responses with the increased interests in new science studies and with the experience of learning the way of research.

Place names in North Korea has been regarded as an effective instrument of revolution since division of territory(1945) and as typical case which politcal ideology affected the place names. Especially in North Korea, self-reliance ideology(Juche Idea) and idolization of Kim Il Sung influenced the place names. With local administrative district reform in 1952, names of district and village were changed on national scale. National survey of place names were proceeded in 1964~1966 with direct support of Kim, Ilsung. After this survey, North Korea made alteration of place names in terms of idolization of Kim Il Sung family as well as socialist revolution. Encyclopedia of place names were widely published. Almost linguist were forced to produce writing and papers for the praise of the legitimacy of new place names. But it should be attended that research trend are slowly changed since 2000s. Research for idolization of Kim Il Sung has become a little importance.
This paper examines ${\acute{e}}pist{\acute{e}}m{\grave{e}}$ of ${\acute{e}}criture$ and its politics in Kim, Soo-Yung's poems, focusing on 'language-letter' images such as "speech", "language", "printing type", "letter", "brush", "book" and so on. While the previous papers fail to present the overall framework of analysis on 'language-${\acute{e}}criture$' images and to show political dimensions of discourse analysis, this paper tries to overcome these limitations. It explains images of 'speech' and 'language' on the basis of Heidegger's ontological thought, and analyzes writing-images such as 'type', 'letters' using Derrida's concepts of 'archi-${\acute{e}}criture$' and '${\acute{e}}criture$'. It also gives a new name to multiple images of 'book' in his poems as 'politics of ${\acute{e}}criture$' based on problematic such as Badiou's 'ethics of truths' and Derrida's '${\acute{e}}criture$'.

Quantitative and qualitative research explore various social phenomena using different methods. However, there has been a tendency to treat quantitative studies using complicated statistical techniques as more scientific and superior, whereas relatively few qualitative studies have been conducted in the medical and healthcare fields. This review aimed to provide a proper understanding of qualitative research. This review examined the characteristics of quantitative and qualitative research to help researchers select the appropriate qualitative research methodology. Qualitative research is applicable in following cases: (1) when an exploratory approach is required on a topic that is not well known, (2) when something cannot be explained fully with quantitative research, (3) when it is necessary to newly present a specific view on a research topic that is difficult to explain with existing views, (4) when it is inappropriate to present the rationale or theoretical proposition for designing hypotheses, as in quantitative research, and (5) when conducting research that requires detailed descriptive writing with literary expressions. Qualitative research is conducted in the following order: (1) selection of a research topic and question, (2) selection of a theoretical framework and methods, (3) literature analysis, (4) selection of the research participants and data collection methods, (5) data analysis and description of findings, and (6) research validation. This review can contribute to the more active use of qualitative research in healthcare, and the findings are expected to instill a proper understanding of qualitative research in researchers who review qualitative research reports and papers.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of instructors' utilization of the reserve collection in the university library. To accomplish this, an experiment-and-questionnaire study was done by selecting an experimental group for whom the teaching method utilizing the reserve collection was used and a control group for whom the method was not used. An experimental group and a control group studied were as follows: (1) Students take the 'Comparative Politics' course in the Department of Political Science. (2) Students take the 'History of 'English Literature' course III the Department of English Language and Literature. The data to test the hypothesis were analyzed by SPSS/PC+ routine. The results are as follows: (1) There were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in academic achievement(T(228)=6.69, P<.01). To investigate the difference in effect by major, the one-way analysis of variance was employed. According to the results, there were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group In the Department of Political Science and the Department of English Language & Literature. Therefore, students for whom the teaching method utilizing the reserve collection was used have higher academic achievement than those for whom the method was not used. (2) As for the degree of utilizing the library and its materials, there were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group(T(228)=8.87, P<.01). As for the results of the one-way analysis of variance to investigate the difference in effect by major, there were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in both departments. As for the degree of utilizing library catalogues and bibliographical tools, there were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group(T (228)=8.55, P<.01). As stated earlier, the one-way analysis of variance to investigate the difference in effect by major has shown that there were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in both departments. As for the degree of sincerity in doing homework and writing papers, there were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group(T(176)=8. 03, P<.01). To investigate the difference in effect by major, the one-way analysis of variance was again employed. According to the results, there were again significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in both departments. So, the students for whom the teaching method utilizing the reserve collection was employed used library catalogues and bibliographical tools much more than those for whom the method was not employed, and were more sincere in doing homework and writing papers. (3) There were also significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in degree of satisfaction in taking the course (T (228) = 6.61, P<.01). The results of the one-way analysis of variance to investigate the difference in effect by major was that there were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in both departments. Therefore, the degree of satisfaction of students who were taught by the teaching method utilizing the reserve collection is higher than that of those who were not taught by the method. On the other hand, the responses of the experimental groups of two departments as to the degree of satisfaction with their teaching method was investigated. The result shows that students who took the 'Comparative Politics' course in a small class which employed the seminar method were higher in degree of satisfaction with the teaching method than students who took the 'History of English Literature' course III a large class which employed a lecture-oriented teaching method.
