Propagation Models for Structural Parameters in Online Social Networks (온라인 소셜 네트워크에서 구조적 파라미터를 위한 확산 모델)

  • As the social media which was simple communication media is activated on account of twitter and facebook, it's usability and importance are growing recently. Although many companies are making full use of its the capacity of information diffusion for marketing, the adverse effects of this capacity are growing. Because social network is formed and communicates based on friendships and relationships, the spreading speed of the spam and mal-ware is very swift. In this paper, we draw parameters affecting malicious data diffusion in social network environment, and compare and analyze the diffusion capacity of each parameters by propagation experiment with XSS Worm and Koobface Worm. In addition, we discuss the structural characteristics of social network environment and then proposed malicious data propagation model based on parameters affecting information diffusion. n this paper, we made up BA and HK models based on SI model, dynamic model, to conduct the experiments, and as a result of the experiments it was proved that parameters which effect on propagation of XSS Worm and Koobface Worm are clustering coefficient and closeness centrality.

  • The new cyber world has created by Internet that is prosperous rapidly. But with the expansion of Internet the hacking and intrusion are also increased very much. Actually there were many incidents in Internet, but the damage was restricted within a local area and local system. However, the Great 1.25 Internet Disturbance has paralyzed the national wide Internet environment. It because the Slammer Worm. The worm is a malformed program that uses both of the hacking and computer virus techniques. It autonomously attacks the vulnerability of Windows system, duplicates and spreads by itself. Jus like the Slammer Worm, almost every worms attack the vulnerability of Windows systems that installed in personal PC. Therefore, the vulnerability in personal PC could destroy the whole Internet world. So, in this paper we propose a Internet Worm Expanding Prevention System that could be installed in personal PC to prevent from expanding the Internet Worm. And we will introduce the results of developed system.

  • 인터넷 및 네트워크가 급격하게 발전함에 따라 많은 피해가 발생하고 있으며, 이러한 피해중 웜은 많은 장비 및 네트워크 상의 위협을 준다 이러한 위협이 되는 웜을 잘 대처하기 위해서는 웜의 행동자체에 대한 파악을 반드시 해야 하고 이에 선행 연구작업으로써 웜 분류는 반드시 실시되어야 한다. 외국의 웜 분류 연구중 UC Berkeley와 시만텍사의 분류방안을 살펴보고 그러한 분류 방안에 기반한 트래픽 및 웜 행동 패턴을 기준으로 전파특성과 웜의 행동 단계별 기준하에 재정립 및 분류 기법을 제안하겠다. 이러한 웜의 분류는 차후 시뮬레이터 모듈의 구현과 칵 모듈의 조합을 통한 구체적인 웜 모델링에 대한 연구의 기초가 된다.

  • 인터넷의 확산과 이용자의 급증으로 웜바이러스에 대한 문제가 최근에 크게 대두되고 있다. 스크립트 형 웜바이러스의 경우 제작이 쉬워 누구나 몇 시간의 학습을 통하여 바이러스를 제작찬 수 있다. 이러한 문제의 심각성은 최근 7개월 동안의 바이러스 통계에서도 나타나는데 전체 바이러스 중 평균 22.5%를 차지하고 있다. 이러한 웜바이러스를 차단하기 위해서 여러 가지 방법들이 사용되고 있으나 E-mail로 급속하게 퍼지는 웜바이러스의 확산을 차단하기 위해서 네트워크 기반의 시스템 보호방법이 요구되어지고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 알려지지 않은 웜바이러스로부터 내부 네트워크를 방어하기 위한 면역시스템을 제안한다. 자동화된 면역 시스템은 분산된 각각의 웜바이러스 탐지 시스템들이 새로운 바이러스 정보를 동적으로 공유할 수 있도록 하여 새로운 바이러스로부터 해당 시스템과 그 시스템이 속해 있는 내부 네트워크를 바이러스로부터 보호할 수 있도록 한다.

Polymorphic Wonn Detection Using A Fast Static Analysis Approach (고속 정적 분석 방법을 이용한 폴리모픽 웹 탐지)

  • In order to respond against worms which are malicious programs automatically spreading across communication networks, worm detection approach by generating signatures resulting from analyzing worm-related packets is being mostly used. However, to avoid such signature-based detection techniques, usage of exploits employing mutated polymorphic types are becoming more prevalent. In this paper, we propose a novel static analysis approach for detecting the decryption routine of polymorphic exploit code, Our approach detects a code routine for performing the decryption of the encrypted original code which are contained with the polymorphic exploit code within the network flows. The experiment results show that our approach can detect polymorphic exploit codes in which the static analysis resistant techniques are used. It is also revealed that our approach is more efficient than the emulation-based approach in the processing performance.

  • Recently, number of tablet or Smartphone users increased significantly in domestic and around the world. But violation of personal information such as leakage, misuse and abuse are constantly occurring by using mobile devices which is very useful in our society. Therefore, in this paper it will talk about the problems in the network environment of the mobile environment such as tablet and Smartphone, Mobile Malware, hacking of the public key certificate, which could be potential threat to mobile environment. This thesis will research for people to use their mobile devices more reliable and safer in mobile environment from invasion and leakage of personal information. In order to use Smartphone safely, users have to use Wi-Fi and Bluetooth carefully in the public area. This paper will research how to use App safely and characteristic of risk of worm and Malware spreading. Because of security vulnerabilities of the public key certificate, it will suggest new type of security certification. In order to prevent from the information leakage and infect from Malware in mobile environment without knowing, this thesis will analyze the improved way to manage and use the mobile device.
