  • In remote sensing, spatial/spectral distortions are recognized as two of the main problems in the pansharpening algorithm. Most pansharpening methodologies show a tendency to distort spatial information from objects such as buildings and vehicles because there are local spatial dissimilarities among multispectral bands in Worldview-2 satellite imagery. In this paper, we propose a new pansharpening algorithm in order to minimize the effects of the local displacement of spatial information in the pansharpening process. In experiments using Worldview-2 images, our method provided better spectral and spatial quality than pre-existing pansharpening methods.

  • Ecocentric worldview is considered as worldview that overcomes present environment problems and increases animal right. This study explores the formation of an ecocentric worldview for 4th-6th graders based on Peter Singer's research that divides the development of morality into family-centered, species-centered, and ecocentric worldview. The subjects of this study were 77 4th graders, 84 5th graders, and 91 6th graders in Daegu Metro- politan City. The results of surveying students' worldview based on the questionnaire developed by dividing into 6 questions are as follows. In most of the items in grades 4-6, the rate of formation of a species-centered worldview or a family-centered worldview was higher than that of an ecocentric worldview. However, in the case of 6th grade students was significantly higher than in other grades because they learned lesson on wolf restoration in the 5th grade science class. This may be seen as an effect of education, but since the ecocentric worldview did not appear high in other questions, it is reasonable to assume that 6th graders simply recited what they learned rather than forming a true ecocentric worldview. Therefore, there is a need for education that can help students to think, judge, and act on the basis of the ecocentric worldview consistently in any situation, rather than just memorizing the knowledge of the ecocentric worldview learned.

  • This study proposes the method for converging Buddhist Worldview into games. The Rogue-like game "Dungeed" and "Nectar Ritual Painting" were selected for analysis. Next, the characteristics of the Buddhist worldview in Nectar Ritual Painting and the Rogue-like game Dungeed were compared and analyzed. As a result, this study proposed game elements of Rogue-like that analyzed in the characteristics of Buddhist world view. In the future, we will examine the expandability of the game through the Buddhist Worldview.

  • In the era of transmedia, it has become normalized to use different media for the same content. The paper of this research is, in such a transmedia era, in order to meet the needs of the public, what elements should be considered when adapting a novel into a game. The study takes the novel "Zhu Xian" and its game adaptation "Zhu Xian Hand Tour" as the research object, focusing on the worldview and characters, analyzing the elements needed for the adaptation, and uses a questionnaire to understand players' satisfaction with the elements of the adaptation. The results show that the audience satisfaction of the worldview and character visualization elements in the adaptation of "The Zhu Xian Hand Tour" is high, but the basic information and appearance elements in the ethnic composition of the worldview and the character visualization elements need to be modified. The study can provide a design suggestion for game planners and designers.

  • Building information is essential for various urban spatial analyses. For this reason, continuous building monitoring is required, but it is a subject with many practical difficulties. To this end, research is being conducted to extract buildings from satellite images that can be continuously observed over a wide area. Recently, deep learning-based semantic segmentation techniques have been used. In this study, a part of the structure of the context-based ResU-Net was modified, and training was conducted to automatically extract a building from a 30 cm Worldview-3 RGB image using SpaceNet's building v2 free open data. As a result of the classification accuracy evaluation, the f1-score, which was higher than the classification accuracy of the 2nd SpaceNet competition winners. Therefore, if Worldview-3 satellite imagery can be continuously provided, it will be possible to use the building extraction results of this study to generate an automatic model of building around the world.

  • The paper argues for the necessicity of revising many fundamental concepts that we use in everyday situations and in communication such as reality, thought, language, the world and finally the truth. The paper develops the argument that what the word ′truth′ actually signifies cannot be addressed just by explicating what philosophy, science or even religion denote but that it can only be answered fully by the study of language and therefore in a larger context linguistics. Language is the very tool that enriches the communication between one another due to its diverse significations that one may use when expressing one′s views, thereby making life more enjoyable. The paper develops why the above corresponding argument should be justified by developing three outstanding views as follows. The world or reality is indistinguishable from the common worldview that we associate with without the means of language. That the worldview is in essence inseparable from the mental and intellectual representation of it and the only means of expression lies with language. And finally, that the language is a complex signification in itself in every aspect. Language in short is the very essence of what we define as being ′poetic.′ With these arguments in mind, we may once again ponder the signification of Nietzsche′s words when he states that "to see science through the lens of art, and art through the lens of life."

  • Big Data is a data analysis technology empowered by late advances in innovations and engineering. In any case, big data involves a colossal responsibility of equipment and handling assets, making reception expenses of big data innovation restrictive to little and medium estimated organizations. Cloud computing offers the guarantee of big data execution to little and medium measured organizations. Big Data preparing is performed through a programming worldview known as MapReduce. Normally, execution of the MapReduce worldview requires organized joined stockpiling and equal preparing. The computing needs of MapReduce writing computer programs are frequently past what little and medium measured business can submit. Cloud computing is on-request network admittance to computing assets, given by an external element. Normal arrangement models for cloud computing incorporate platform as a service (PaaS), software as a service (SaaS), framework as a service (IaaS), and equipment as a service (HaaS).

  • This study examined the effects of reflective writing activities utilizing environmental related mass media. Two classes participated as an experimental group (n=31) and a control group (n=30). Both groups of students learned five different topics on environment, such as diversity of ecosystem, global warming, desertification, reduction of the amount of carbon, and eco-friendly behavior. The experimental group students was taught utilizing mass media about each topic and had opportunities of reflective writing about each topic, while the control group of students was taught through lectures. The results indicated that students in the experimental group represented significantly better scores on environmental worldview, environmental sensitivity, and eco-friendly behavior compared to the control group students (p<.01).

His life teaches us the lesson that examining philosophical base and historical background is crucial to understand mathematics or mathematicians, and that it is necessary to overcome given conditions and environments rather than expect better environments to reach meaningful achievements.

  • This research focuses on the humboldt's thought for language. In Korea, only two themes, 'worldview' and 'nation' , problem of 'energeia' and 'ergon', was mostly researched. But we must research all together his thoughts, in order to understand his complete thoughts. His thoughts consist six themes : 1 . relation between thought and language. 2. problem of language-generation. 3. problem of translation. 4. substance of language. 5. worldview and nation. 6. energeia and ergon. From this five themes, we can understand, what his origin thought is. Therefore, we explained sequentially five themes in our paper. The theme 1, 5 and 6 are often interpretated between the scholars in Korea. But the theme 2 and 3 are not yet known. Therefore, we tried to explain it in this paper, what the problem of language-generation and the problem of translation are.tion and the problem of translation are.
