Measurement of harmful factors occurring in Machinery and Core workshop (기계 및 중자 제조작업장에서 발생하는 유해인자의 측정)

  • This study is a survey on the effect of working security and worksite environment connected to the worst case of noise and dust which was generated in the manufacturing workshop of machinery and easting. The noise intensity of the manufacturing process tends to increase up to the limited strength of 90db (A) or the higher during the last 4~5 years in 1990~1994. This result requires a significant improvement of worksite environment of unit workshop. The concentration of dust in the gouging process tends to increase to a significantly high level compared with other worksite, which also requires a local ventilation method to reduce the dust diffusion. Organic solvents used most frequently in the manufacturing process machinery were the aromatic hydrocarbons, but were gradually diversed in recent years.

A Comparative Assessment of Hydrogen Facility Installation for Net-Zero Energy District Planning (제로에너지단지의 적정 수소 활용 규모 및 운용방식에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to evaluate the optimal size of the hydrogen facility to be installed in a zero-energy district in terms of load matching and facility efficiency. A mismatch between energy generation and consumption is a common occurrence in zero-energy districts. This mismatch adversely effects the energy grid. However, using an energy carrier such as hydrogen can solve this problem. To determine the optimal size of hydrogen fuel cells to be used on-site, simulation of hydrogen installation is required at both district-and building- levels. Each case had four operating schedules. Therefore, we evaluated eight scenarios in terms of load matching, heat loss, and facility operational efficiency. The results indicate that district-level installation of hydrogen facilities enables more efficient energy use. Additionally, based on the proposed model, we can calculate the optimal size of the hydrogen facility.

  • Value Engineering has been recognized as one of the construction management techniques for improving the value and benefits of whole project. However, due to the lack of the past data and inefficient free-thinking techniques, the idea generation during VE workshop is still inefficient and ineffective. Even though various studies related to theoretical methodology and technical systems relevant to database were conducted, VE team still mainly rely on their experience for idea generation. With this regard, this study suggests an approach of BIM-based idea bank and assesses its effectiveness by interviewing 20 VE experts in the industry. This approach covers the three steps of idea generation, consisting of 1) Developing BIM based VE database, 2) Generating VE ideas, 3) Updating VE ideas. The result showed that the proposed approach has great potentials to support VE team and improve the quality of VE ideas during creativity phase.

  • A design thinking-based collaborative workshop in which various stakeholders in the milk processing industry circulation ecosystem participated shows a new problem innovation paradigm that encourages the spread of practical prototyping culture. in the expression of empathy and collective intelligence among members on facing issues, the conversion of collaboration and communication methods, the business handling of the organization based on the design work method as 'creativity mechanism'. In this workshop, which was promoted in three stages of 'approach to problems', 're-definition of problems', and 'experience-based future vision design', participants themselves redefine real problems in terms of the accuracy of feed orders between feed suppliers and livestock farmers, ordering of feeds on time, cost reduction of feed supply and present new alternatives and expanded business areas. The results suggested in this workshop suggest the usefulness of design thinking in business innovation in that they presented how to approach the problem and a creative thinking system to find its solution to direct and indirect stakeholders of the industry as well as the improvement of supply and demand rate of livestock feed and quality.

A Preliminary Study of Prototype for Improving VE Workshop Phase based on BIM (BIM 기반 VE 워크샵 단계의 업무 향상을 위한 프로토타입 개발에 관한 기초연구)

  • VE workshop is performed based on VE expert' experiences without retrieving VE data of similar previous projects. Moreover, it usually omitted or applied for the sake of formality due to insufficiently understanding VE function, limited time, space and budget. Even though many studies have established VE databases for retrieving and reusing VE data, VE workshop is still inefficient and ineffective to improve projects' values. With this regard, this study proposes a preliminary prototype for improving VE workshop, which utilizes the state-of-the-art information communication technologies(ICTs) including Building Information Modeling(BIM), Mobile Computing(MC), Network Service System(NSS), and Database Management System(DBMS) for better managing, storing and reusing VE data. The prototype was developed to evaluate advantages and limitations. The results show that the proposed prototype can support visual VE data retrieval from similar previous projects, enhance communication among VE team and save much time and cost comparing to traditional VE. Through this, the productivity of VE workshop can improve efficiently and effectively.

  • Based on the capabilities of smartphone cameras which have developed rapidly in recent decades, coupled with and the global market penetration rate, it will study the possibility of various international exchanges through smartphone filmmaking. This aims to achieve a civilian-oriented cultural exchange, instead of simply providing capital-oriented exchanges and film production education. The Smartphone Film Workshop was held as an auxiliary event of the Korea-Vietnam Film Festival, which ran from November 17 to 22, 2017. The three-day workshop, which took place within the festival period, drew attention for its international collaboration project between Korean film directors and Vietnamese film students. The researcher conducted practical-based research while participating as a mentor at this workshop. A step-by-step approach to the entire process of production and post-production was administered, including workshop team composition, scenario, and pre-production in Korea such as shooting equipment, schedule, completion of local works, and screening. Through an analysis of exchange cases at international workshops, we will use trial and error as ways to improve and consider the results of cultural exchanges and the effects of future expectations. Taking this empirical case study into account, we anticipate more active international exchanges through the smartphone workshops.

  • 지난 22일 23일 양일간 우리협회 9층 대회의실에서 항공우주산업개발기본계획 수립을 위한 Workshop이 정부·업계·학계·연구소 등 약 200여명이 참여한 가운데 양 일간 개최되었다. 항공우주산업개발기본계획 수립과 관련하여 동 기본계획에 반영해야 할 사항을 집중적으로 토의하여 다양한 의견을 수렴했던 이번 행사는 6개의 소주제별로 패널을 구성하여 기본계획(안)에 있는 내용을 근간으로 주제발표자가 검토한 내용을 발표하고 패널간 토론뒤 전체토의를 하는 방식으로 진행되었다. 첫째날은 ''''항공우주산업과 정부의 역할 및 지원방안''''이란 대주제에 3개의 소주제로 나뉘어 진행되었으며, 둘째날은 ''''항공우주산업의 INFRA 구축방안''''이란 대주제를 갖고 진행되었다. 본 지에서는 주제발표자의 발표 요약분을 게재하였다.

  • 저는 미국 농무성 식품안전검사처(FSIS)가2002.1.17$\~$1.19 (3일간) 홍콩에서 개최한 국제식품규격위원회(Codex) 아시아지역 Workshop에 한국대표단의 일원으로 참석하였다. 본 워크샵에는 아시아 지역 15개 국가, 50여명이 참석하여 Codex 업무와 관련된 주요 현안사항에 대한 설명을 듣고 상호간에 의견을 교환하였다. 본인은 본 워크샵이 식품안전성에 대한 중요성이 점증하고 있는 요즘에 식품의 기준$\cdot$규격 등에 관한 국제기준을 설정하는 기구인 Codex에서 최근 무엇이 논의되고 있고, 쟁점사항이 무엇인지 등을 축산식품 관련사항을 중심으로 기술하여 전국의 수의직공무원, 식품위생업무 관계자들에게 조금이나마 도움이 될 것으로 기대되어 참석결과를 보고형태로 기술하고자 한다.

  • 마이크로 머신이란 글자 그대로 기계의 크기가 몹시 작은 기계를 의미한다. 기계전체의 크기가 1mm정도 혹은 그 이하인 기계를 마이크로 머신이라 일컫는데 이러한 기계들은 주로 아주 작고 가변운 물체(예를 들면 미생물체, 세포등)를 조작하거나, 아주 작은 물리량(예를 들면 변위, 힘, 각도, 유량등)을 발생시키거나 측정하는데 유리하다. 마이크로 머신으로의 초대(I) (전기학회잡지 1992년 11월호 기술해설 참조)에서는 마이크로 머신(MEMS, Micro Eletro Mechanical System)의 대표적인 연구성과를 소개하고, 주요한 제작기술인 Surface micro machining과 MEMS에 관련한 주요학술대회중의 하나인 IEEE Workshop을 소개하고, 1993년도 IEEE MEMS Workshop에서 발표된 연구를 중심으로 최근의 연구현황을 살펴보기로 한다.
