간호⋅간병통합서비스 병동 간호사의 감정노동 파악 및 개선방안: 초점집단인터뷰 적용 (The Emotional Labor Status and Improvement Plans of Nurses Working in the Integrated Nursing Service Ward: Applying Focus Group Interviews)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the status of emotional labor of nursing personnel working in comprehensive nursing service ward and to suggest the way service improvement can be achieved. Methods: A total of 28 nurses working in comprehensive nursing service ward were divided into four groups to conduct focus group interview. All interviews were recorded and transcribed after the interview to perform data analysis in the order of data classification, topic categorization, and keyword derivation. Results: The five categories of subjects and relating keywords drawn from the focus group interviews are as follows: 1) Emotional labor experience: suppressing emotions, expressing emotions or actions that are different from reality, 2) Situations of emotional labor: verbal abuse and assault, sexual harassment, personal needs and errands, 3) Responses to emotional labor: responding directly, responding directly, receiving senior's help, using the organizational system, persevering, 4) Problems caused by emotional labor: work exhaustion, job change intention, job stress, 5) Protection plan against emotional labor: manual or education for nurses, education for patients and carers, compensation, tough sanctions though system strengthening. Conclusion: This study shows that although nurses working in comprehensive nursing service ward generally experience high levels of emotional labor, the problem solving of them relies mainly on personal response. Therefore, it is necessary to develop various measures to protect nurses in an organizational level response, thus to improve the comprehensive nursing service system.

  • 본 연구는 문화예술교육사 자격제도를 위한 연구의 기초적 도움이 되는데 의의를 두고 있으며, 강사풀 제도에서 현재 문화예술교육사로 발전해 온 문화예술교육사 자격제도의 중요성을 인식하고 보다 체계적인 발전방안을 연구하는데 연구의 목적을 두고자 한다. 따라서 문화예술교육사에 대한 선행연구 및 자료를 중심으로 경제적 사회적 교육적 가치, 현황 문제점에 대한 방안을 중심으로 연구하였다. 본 연구의 결론으로 교육과정 및 연수교육의 발전방안, 자격 취득 및 취업관련 발전방안, 현장에서의 발전 방안, 근로조건 및 강사 처우의 발전방안을 제시하였다.

  • 본 연구는 경기도와 강원도지역 시·군에서 현재 재난안전특별사법경찰로 활동하고 있는 일반직 공무원을 대상으로 현 운영상의 문제점에 대한 실태조사 및 개선방안을 도출하기 위해 설문조사 방식으로 이루어졌다. 재난안전특별 사법경찰의 전문성, 수사 환경 및 인적요인 등 현 운영 실태를 분석하여 제도의 운영상 문제점과 개선방안 및 활성화 방안을 도출하였다. 나날이 복잡하고 다양해지는 전문 업무영역 범죄예방에 대처하기 위해서는 재난안전특별사법경찰상을 재정립하는 방향을 제시하였다.

  • In general, since the types and types of ships, so complex and various variables are included to measure the amount of construction work. In addition, it is mot easy to predict the schedule or the number of working hours before ship construction, and it is also mostly inaccurate. As a result, the master plan is manually drawn up by the expert's experience, but there are limitations due to various factors. Medium and large shipyards are operating APS(Advanced Planning and Scheduling) system that reflects industrial characteristics to improve productivity in the planning stage, and utilize information from systems such as ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) system and MES (Manufacturing Execution System). On the other hand, small shipyards rely mostly on manual work such as Excel work based on the experience of the workers. Therefore, this study intends to develop a master plan management system that can efficiently manage the production process from the business planning stage in consideration of the characteristics of small shipyards.

실업계 고등학교 졸업생의 산업 현장 적응 현황 분석 (The Anaysis on the Adaptation Situation of Vocational High School Graduate's Industrial Field)

  • The primary objective of this study is to firstly survey and analyze the working environment and actual condition, secondly know their problems, and then provide the basic data about how to improve their working conditions. The specific study items for getting the goal above is as follows: 1. How does the industrial company connect with highschool vocational education well? 2. How does the mechanical technical highschool graduate apply with industrial field? The result of study is as follows: 1. In case of employment's information and the industrial educationed cooperation, the workers who has the working history in less than 5 years takes short to find the job. National high school graduates and those who get the job through the school and the teacher changed their job at short period compared to other. 2. There was no benefit about the same major's worker at industrial field. The workers admitted that there is the exemption fo military service and the certification's allowance, only for which is related to their job. The longer the workers stay their job, the more they had the chance to get the exemption of military service. National highschool were carried out the curriculum well as planed especially for their major subjects. Whereas, the public and private highschools weren't. The seniors of their job and the coworkers are very helpful for learning the actual knowledge. The workers said that the school's curriculum and club activity weren't effective applying with their working field. 3. The study says that the important things of their job is the knowledge of their major. Those who 80% answered that the worker must improve the knowledge of their major to be a good engineer. Learning from their senior in working field was very helpful. The question above was ranked as the first. 4. The answer says that the new changed job's pay is more than the previous job. That is, the reason of leaving the job is the pay gap. The most dissatisfaction and problems in present job was the environment of working and the working condition. 5. Regarding to asking next year's plan, the answer says that keeping the job was ranked as the first. That answer means that they conservative.

치과기공사의 직무스트레스 요인이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Job Stress Factors of Dental Technicians on Job Satisfaction)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze dental technicians' job stress and Job satisfaction level and to examine its correlation. Methods: A self-administered survey was conducted from September 2 to October 2, 2019, on 230 selected dental technicians. The collected data were statistical data on frequency and percentage were obtained, and t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis and regression analysis were carried out. Results: When the job stress was analyzed, there were significant differences according to their field of work, working hours(p<.05). Their average score in the items about a job stress was 3.57. As a result of analyzing the job satisfaction of the dental technicians, there were significant differences according to their working hours, plan for task continuity in dental technician(p<.05). The average score in job satisfaction items was 3.11. Conclusion: As a result of research, that as for the correlation between a job stress and job satisfaction, a higher the job stress led to lower the job satisfaction, as every variable had a significant reverse correlation with each other. In addition, physical environment, heavy workload, conflict during the work performance, personal matters were identified as the factor that exerted the influence on both of job satisfaction.

  • This study investigated the pathways of factors affecting 173 employed mothers' second childbirth plans. Participants were all employed working mothers with an infant under 10 months old. The hypothetical model used in this research proposed that workplace childcare support, social support, value of children and parenting stress of employed mothers will directly affect second childbirth plans. Additionally, workplace childcare support, social support, value of children, marital satisfaction and job satisfaction will indirectly influence second childbirth plans as a result of parenting stress. The results of this research demonstrated that value of children and parenting stress were the factors which directly affected second childbirth plans of employed mothers. In addition, workplace childcare support, social support, marital satisfaction and job satisfaction indirectly influenced second childbirth plans as a result of parenting stress. This study suggests the need for the establishment and development of workplace childcare support and the need for enhancing the value of children. This research further suggests the need for policies aimed at increasing psychological well-being and decreasing parenting stress for working mothers who are contemplating second childbirth plans.

간호사의 교대근무내성 영향요인 (Influencing Factors on the Nurse's Shiftwork Tolerance)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the factors affecting shiftwork tolerance among nurses and provide basic data, ultimately, in formulating a plan for improving their shiftwork tolerance. Methods: The participants were 317 nurses who were working at three general hospitals in Daejeon and Seoul. Data analyzed t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and regression analysis using SPSS 20.0 program. Results: As for the sub-areas of shiftwork tolerance for the respondents, more than a half of nurses working at shifts suffered from insomnia, felt drowsy, complained of chronic fatigue, and were at the anxious and depressed state. Shiftwork tolerance differed by the daily intake of coffee and exercise. Shiftwork tolerance was significantly positively correlated with sleep-wake habits, hardiness, and flexibility and negatively correlated with a languidity. Regression analysis revealed that shiftwork tolerance was affected by age, sleep-wake habits, languidity, flexibility, and hardiness. Conclusion: To put the results, nurses had shiftwork tolerance affected by sleep-wake habits, languidity, and hardiness. It is therefore necessary to make a scheme for allowing nurses to improve hardiness and flexibility and decrease the languidity with the objective of improving their shiftwork tolerance.

  • In process for production of Rubber Scheme Product that have the most inferior Working Environment is Medicine mixture and Scheme processing. Applying automation and Environment Treatment technology to the hazardous chemical and mixture processing, Through developed 'Mixture Automatic Machine for hazardous chemical Interruption type that is occurred at mixing rubber medicines', we try to decline worker's intensity of labour, Also overcomes solution of work evasion phenomenon and manpower supply and demand's difficulty by forming agreeable working environment and through the automatic scheme and mixture processing by preventing that hazardous chemical had known as disease causes of various importance disease is exposed to worker during the work. and we plan to do so that production of high added value product may be available.

English as an Instructional Medium in Korean Higher Education: Focusing on the Perspectives of Professors

  • The study explores the way professors working in a private university in Korea perceive the recent English-medium instruction (EMI) frenzy in Korean higher education (HE) and the way they respond to its manifestation at their institution. Working within a qualitative research paradigm (Merriam, 2009), I gathered data primarily via one-time semi-structured interviews with ten participants who have offered or are offering EMI at the time of data collection and used a qualitative data analysis method. The findings illustrate that the professors view external factors residing outside individual universities, such as the college rankings and the university evaluation parameters, as the principal drive behind the current EMI boom in Korean tertiary education. Acknowledging the importance of strengthening the international competitive edge of Korean HE in the global era, the professors perceive the EMI policy positively expecting it to be beneficial for both students and institutions. They, however, problematize the blind acceptance of EMI policy and externally forced EMI expansion movement in Korean HE, which they believe will lower the standard of the academic experience of students. Experiencing first-hand the inadequate manifestation of the EMI policy at their university, the professors claim that a systematic long-term implementation plan and context-suitable approaches should be taken at both the national and institutional level for successful future EMI implementation and expansion efforts.
