  • Purpose: This cross-sectional study aimed to evaluate the mediating and moderating effects of resilience in the relationship between experience of workplace bullying and its consequences among hospital nurses. Methods: The participants included 187 registered nurses working in general hospitals or a tertiary hospital in Busan and Gyeongnam Province, South Korea. Data were collected from October 25-November 30, 2019, using structured questionnaires. The moderating effects were examined using stepwise hierarchical multiple regression models. Data were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 23.0 statistical program. Results: The results demonstrated that resilience had a moderating role in the relationship between experience of workplace bullying and its consequences in hospital nurses (β=.01, p=.024). However, resilience showed no mediating effect. Conclusion: To prevent and control workplace bullying, as well as to minimize its negative effects, it is necessary to develop a program that can enhance the resilience of hospital nurses.

  • Purpose : This study aimed to explore and describe intensive care unit (ICU) nurses' experience of clinical adaptation. Methods : The participants were 14 ICU nurses with more than two years of working experience in the ICU. Data were collected through in-depth individual interviews conducted between July and October 2021. Theoretical sampling was used to the point of theoretical saturation. Data were analyzed using the Strauss and Corbin method. Results : A total of 79 concepts, 37 subcategories, and 16 categories were identified through open coding. Axial coding based on the paradigm model revealed that the central phenomenon was "The harsh adversity faced in the nursing field where life and death are determined" and the core category was "Enduring the adversity of caring for critically ill patients and achieving self-realization." ICU nurses' clinical adaptation process was explained in five phases: "confrontation period," "turbulent period," "seeking period," "struggling period," and "stabilized period." The five phases that affect interventional conditions were "Support from reliable people," "Recognition of administrative and financial support." Conclusion : This study provided novel insights for a comprehensive understanding of ICU nurses' clinical adaptation processes. Furthermore, the findings are expected to be used as basic data to develop multifaceted strategies to help ICU nurses' adaptation to critical care.

  • In this paper, we propose set-up model of silicon steel cold rolling mill. Until now, the working of Silicon Steel is operated using the look-up table value of roll force which a field operator finds by making good use of his experience. Therefore, the standardization of data and an improvement of the quality on product are very difficult. So we establish neural model using field data of various kinds of coil at each pass.

  • Multiple regression and stepwise logistic regression was conducted to examine the relationships of work conditions, individual characteristics, and burnout (emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, personal fulfillment). Subjects were 144 early childhood educators. Teachers most likely to leave the profession were more educated, has less teaching experience and reported higher levels of burnout (i.e. high emotional exhaustion and lower personal fulfillment). Turnover was also predicted by high depersonalization, lower personal fulfillment, working overtime, and perceived choice of other jobs. Implications of these results for early childhood programs were discussed.

  • Future robots, especially service and personal robots, will need much more intelligence, robustness and user-friendliness. The ability to learn contributes to these characteristics and is, therefore, becoming more and more important. Three of the numerous varieties of learning are discussed together with results of real-world experiments with three autonomous robots: (1) the acquisition of map knowledge by a mobile robot, allowing it to navigate in a network of corridors, (2) the acquisition of motion control knowledge by a calibration-free manipulator, allowing it to gain task-related experience and improve its manipulation skills while it is working, and (3) the ability to learn how to perform service tasks ...

  • This paper addresses the "PC vs. mainframe" issue by systematically evaluating the usefulness of PCs in an educational context. For this purpose the satisfaction of 47 undergraduate students working with a software package that is available on both PCs and the mainframe was measured and analyzed. The results of the analysis of variance show no interaction effects between computing context and computing experience. Users were more satisfied with PC LINDO than with its mainframe counterpart. Also experienced users showed significantly higher satisfaction than inexperienced users in this study.his study.

  • This study was performed to investigate LBP(low-back pain) prevalence rate and its related factors inphysical therapists. A self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted to 522 physical therapists in Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk. The LBP prevalence rate for recent 6 months was $61.7\%$. According to age, the prevalence rate was highest in the group aged 24 or less for both male and female physical therapistis. For male physical therapists , it was higher in smokers and drivers, but for female ones, it was not in a significant relationship with smoking and driving. According to work experience, the prevalence rates of those who had been working for less than one year were the highest, and those who had been working at hospitals and clinics were $69.1\%$, significantly high. According to therapy techinque, the prevalence rate related ti PNF was $71.6\%$, the highest and to occupational therapy was $34.3\%$, the lowest. According to working environment for six months, in both male and female physical therapists. LBP prevalence rate was in a statistically significant relationship with work hours during the day, night and weekend duties, repetitive works, motions that bend or twist the waist, the number of patients per day, the number of time to help patients per day, the number of time to carry medical equipment per day and the length of time to work standing. The rate was also higher when physical therapists fekt nire stress from their work. According to the result of multiple logistic regression analysis, male was in a significant relationship with work experience and motions that bend or twist the waist and female was in a significant relationship with work hours during the night and weekend duties, the number of time to help patients per day, motions that bena or twist the waist, actions taken to protect the waist. As for the developmental pattem of LBP in the group of physical therapists with LBP for six moths, $15.7\%$ of them had LBP for first time, $42.3\%$ had recurred LBP, and $42.0\%$ had chronic LBP. As for the causes of LBP, $51.7\%$ said that it was because they worked in the same posture for a long time, and as for how to treat LBP, 48.8% said that they treated themselvs or got help from their co-wokers. The results presented above suggest that physical therapists are exposed to high risk of LBP caused form occupational activities. Therefire, it is necessary to improve working environment to reduce the occurrence of LBP and to develop education programs for preventing the occurrence and recurrence of LBP.
