At the 8th Party Congress in 2021, North Korea announced a plan to build 50,000 housing units in Pyongyang, and this paper analyzes the economic effects and related informal costs of of the project. Currently, Pyongyang is experiencing a significant housing shortage. It is estimated that the number of households in Pyongyang increased by 184,000 between 1994 and 2020, while the estimated new housing supply during the period was only 30,000. Pyongyang's 50,000 housing units construction project is characterized by the goal of improving the living conditions of workers, the application of the new city construction method, and the largest state-led housing construction since the Arduous March. The project is expected to generate economic effects such as increasing workers' motivation to work, increasing tourism resources, and generating income from related industries. On the one hand, a significant portion of the construction cost of the 50,000-unit housing project in Pyongyang is passed on to companies and households in the form of informal cost such as quasi-taxes and manpower mobilization. In addition, there may be congestion in the power supply and sewerage facilities that occur when moving in. If these costs are not taken into account, the feasibility of a housing construction project may not be properly assessed, making it difficult to sustain it in the long term.

Al used in automobiles is mostly material, and according to the innovation of technique is in rapid development. Al die casting is an important field as today's trend of lightweight on automobiles. Valve housing in steering system improves driver's controling. The valve housing which is widely reliable to the most automobiles are developed this moment in our automobile industry. Therefore, they are produced by casting method which cost three times or even more expensive in production. If valve housing which is a part of steering system is produced by gravity casting, the space for manufacturing equipment will be increased, and more time and workers would be brought into service. For such reason, die casting would replace gravity casting in order to minimize cost of time, manpower, and working space. This study is the forming analysis of the 2 cavity die casting for automobile valve housing.

The demand for promoting industrialization construction methods is increasing in Korea to cope with various construction environments, such as the lack of construction engineers, aging construction workers, and the government's 52-hour workweek policy. The industrial housing accreditation system was introduced in 1992 to recognize and improve the quality of industrial housing, but only six companies are currently certified, and there are no records of constructing industrial houses. Currently, the industrialized housing accreditation system in Korea comprises standards for the recognition, revocation of recognition, and promoting the construction of industrial houses. Therefore, this study analyzed the regulations of the industrialized housing accreditation system, derived the problems of each regulation, and derived improvement directions to promote the industrialized housing accreditation system in Korea. Specific measures include expanding the current industrial housing accreditation scope to quasi (semi)-housing, revising the performance and production standards of industrialized housing, relaxing the building standards, and providing financial support to promote industrialized housing.

The aim of this study is to empirically identify the differentiating characteristics of determinant factors on sing-person households' commuting mode choice compared to multi-person households' one in order to establish the customized police directions to decrease private car use in commuting. While the study use the 2% sample survey data on the population and housing in 2015, it employ multinomial logit models on relative choice probability of such alternative commuting modes as bus, subway or rail, and walking, rather than driving. As potential determinant factors, the study employs demographic, socio-economic, and housing and residential one for both models of single-person and multi-person households. The study finds that the behavior of commuting mode choice has distinctive difference by gender, marriage status, physical activity constraint, job type, residential period in current housing of the single-person household's workers compared to the multi-person households' ones. Based on the findings, the study deduce ten commuting policy directions customized for the single-person household.

In our previous research, office workers are relatively frequent in self-reported symptoms suggestive of MCS/IEI compare to construction worker who highly exposed to VOCs compounds. However in that research, the subjects were too small to say it clearly. Based on that research results, self reported symptom surveys to 110 office workers and personal exposure concentration measurement were conducted to 13 of people. VOCs exposure levels were measured within office, house and other places during a week by Passive Sampling Method. In this study, it was found that the number of office workers who met the operational criteria of MCS/IEI was 23.6% similar to 24.5% of previous result, and average of TVOC concentration was appeared high state by order of office, house, and personal exposure.
