The purpose of this work is to examine the voice onset times (VOTs) of the three types of plosives from the Seoul Corpus male speakers in their twenties. In addition, the factors known to affect VOTs were analyzed, including the place and manner of articulation, speakers, location in words, type of following vowels and speech rates calculated from the three consecutive words. Much of the findings agreed with those from earlier studies on Korean and other languages and new discoveries were made.

With Rapid Prototyping system, the efficient packing in a fixed work volume reduces build time when multiple parts are built in a process. In this paper, an efficient and rapid packing algorithm is developed for SLS system that has cylindrical workspace. A genetic algorithm is implemented to place as many part as possible in a vat. For fast computation, a collision detection algorithm "k-DOPs Tree" is implemented.

This is a study on Sil-Sil and Chun. Sil-Sil is a kind of turquoise. According to its burial place and use its identity was fixed, It was discovered in the Middle-East Asia like Iran and Tibet, Ancient China imported turquoise from these countries,. Korea also imported it in Shilla period. It was the empresses only who had the priviledge of using Sil-Sil for their ornaments such as hair-pins headdresses and combs. Chun was a sort of metal ornaments. Chun required a high-skilled work' and it showed how advanced its skill at that time.

Recently, the blockchain platform is changing the art market. Changes are taking place in many areas, including artists, collectors, art investors, and auction. The platform that provides distribution history information on artworks on a blockchain basis can be used when information on the work history is suspected or needs verification, and can be used to manage the distribution history information of stolen and lost artworks and confiscated artworks by the police. Several companies currently operate these platforms, but they operate various blockchain platforms according to their contents. In this paper, we will compare and analyze features of artworks blockchain platform.

To install heavy structures in the railway bridges, crane methods or launching methods using temporary structure have been applied. These methods are uneconomical because working yard is required, temporary cut of rail system, etc. In this study, various construction methods has been developed which are suitable to the filed conditions. In the case of simple span structure like plate girder bridges, the girder is loaded to troy system at the working yard and then transferred to the working place. To lift and lower the girder system, a new transfer system was developed. Different methods each for simple span bridge girder and long span girder were developed and detailed work procedures were proposed. Using these methods, the heavy structures can be installed with simple and safe work procedures and the construction cost and duration can be reduced.

$21^{st}$ century has seen a tremendous advancement in the field of Information and Communication Technology. The commercial utilization of Internet tools and technologies has brought change in the traditional working environment. The functioning in an electronic environment is far more complicated than working in traditional environment and this brings many challenges, threats and potential problems. In this paper we analyze the challenges, threats and potential problems in the working environment of Pokhara University due to application of Internet tools and technology. We have chosen four basic areas on the basis of use that include web resources, electronic mails, social sites and P2P technologies. The main focus is to analyze the impact on work place productivity, social interaction, use and abuse of technology and legal issues associated with them. We, finally summarize the findings and offer solutions and recommendations from the observed data based on direct survey conducted in Pokhara University, Nepal.

Pullout test known as Lok test among the test methods to evaluate concrete strength strength is a test method which is used to decide the form removal time by assessing the early strength of concrete in a new construction, or to control the quality of newly placed concrete. This method has inconvenience to place inserts on the form work in advance, however, the placing work is quite simple and it has advantage that the strength can be measured at field as long as the inserts are placed. In this study, the first step is to investigate the properties of test method itself, by performing the laboratory test which covers deviation of the method and factors affecting the results, etc. The second step is to correlate the result with cylinder strength and other NDT methods such as rebound hammer, ultrasonic method, etc. And that, the results are compared with foreign results to find the differences between the two. In this research, new factors such as moisture content, area of aggregate failure cross section and area of aggregate separation cross section, etc as well as wate-cement ratio and age are investigated.
