근로능력평가지표의 취업에 대한 영향 비교: 장애등급, ICF 활동참여수준, 일상생활 도움필요정도 및 자기평가건강상태를 중심으로 (Effects of work ability on the employment status of people with disabilities: Comparing degrees of disability, ICF activity limitations & participation restriction, levels of assistance needed for daily activities, and self-assessed health status)

  • 근로능력은 장애인소득보장정책과 장애인고용정책에서 정책대상자를 선정하는 핵심요인이다. 우리나라에서 사용하고 있는 근로능력평가지표인 장애등급은 의학적 손상에 기초하여 결정되는 것으로, 제대로 근로능력을 평가하지 못한다는 비판을 받고 있다. 이 연구에서는 장애등급, ICF 활동참여수준, 일상생활도움필요정도 및 자기평가건강상태의 4 근로능력평가지표들이 장애인의 취업여부에 대한 설명력을 비교함으로써 가장 적절한 평가지표를 찾아 내고자 하였다. 그 결과, ICF 활동참여수준이 장애인의 취업여부에 대한 설명력이 가장 높았으며, 이어서 일상생활도움필요정도, 장애등급, 그리고 자기평가건강상태의 순으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 장애인연금제 및 장애인고용정책 등에서 적절하게 활용할 수 있는 근로능력평가지표는 ICF 활동제한 및 참여제약 영역에 해당하는 지표들이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 ICF 활동제한 및 참여제약 영역을 바탕으로 한 근로능력 평가지표가 장애등급보다 더 적절한 근로능력평가지표라고 할 수 있을 것이다.

수준별 학습지 활용 수업이 과학적 탐구 능력과 태도에 미치는 영향 (Influencing on the Increase of the Scientific Inquiry Abilities and Attitudes by Using the Work-Sheets for the Differentiated Learning)

  • The aim of this study is to make it sure how pupils' science inquiry skills and attitude are influenced when they are taught by using the work-sheets for the differentiated learning according to their ability. In order to accomplish this aim, two classes of the fourth grade in the elementary school were distinguished into two groups: one was the experimental class and the other, the comparative class. The experimental class was given 52 hours of science lessons using the above sheets, and the comparative class, the general method of teaching. In order to compare their scientific interest and learning ability of the two groups each other, pupils were tested the standardized achievement in advance. The two groups were also given "ex post facto test" to measure the variation of their inquiry skills and attitude after the lessons. In addition, the experimental class was tested to measure their learning attitude after they are teamed the science with the sheets. The results of this study are as follows: 1. According to the percentile statistics of the science inquiry skills test between the two groups, the work-sheets for the differentiated teaming helped pupils develope their inquiry skills remarkably. 2. The work-sheets did not lead to significant difference between the learning ability of boys and girls. 3. The science lesson using the work-sheets showed positive influences in increasing pupils' scientific attitude. 4. About 77.2 percent of pupils accepted the excellent records of the evaluation in the science lesson using the sheets. It can be, therefore, concluded that the science lesson using the work-sheets for differentiated teaming is one of effective science lessons to increasing pupils' science inquiry skills, compared with the general teaching method.

노인의 주관적 건강과 근로능력, 경제활동 참여, 삶의 만족 간의 구조적 관계에 관한 연구 (Structural Relationship of Subjective Health, Ability to Work, Participation on Economic Activity, and Life Satisfaction among the Korean Elderly)

  • 본 연구는 노인의 주관적 건강, 근로능력, 경제활동 참여, 삶의 만족 간 구조적 관계를 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 최근 각 사회에서는 생산적 노화, 적극적 노년 등의 관점을 통해 노인에 대한 사회적 부담을 경감시키고 부정적 인식을 완화시키기 위해 노력해 왔으며, 특히 삶의 질을 향상시키기 위한 건강과 참여에 주목하고 있다. 본 연구의 분석 대상은 한국복지패널 10차 데이터(2015년)에서 65세 이상인 노인 3,392명을 대상으로 하였다. 분석 결과, 노인의 건강과 근로능력, 경제활동 참여는 삶의 만족에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 노인의 건강은 근로능력과 경제활동 참여에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 근로능력은 경제활동 참여에 정적으로 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 분석결과를 바탕으로, 노인의 삶의 만족을 향상시키기 위한 주요 요인으로써 건강과 근로 관련 요인들에 대해 중요하게 고려할 것을 제언하였다.

간호사의 자아상과 간호업무성과와의 관계에서 셀프리더십의 조절효과 (The Moderating Effect of Self-leadership in Relationship between Self-image and Work Performance of Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the research is to investigate the effect of self-image on work performance and controlling ability of self-leadership in relationship in between self-image and work performance. Methods: The data were collected from Mar 16th to April 15th 2009, a descriptive survey study was conducted with 140 nurses. Results: The hypothesis "Self image of nurse would affect on work performance" is supported ($R^2$=.335, p<.001). In the hypothesis of "Self-leadership would have controlling ability on self-image and work performance", as a result of regression analysis in independent variables of self-image(A) and self-leadership(B), adding relation of both variable($A{\times}B$) would increase in 36.6% (p<.05). Conclusion: Self-image of nurse was confirmed that it had positive effect on work performance and that it had moderating ability on relationship between self-image and work performance. The shaping and strategic operation are required to increase self-leadership and positive development on self-image of nursed.

치과위생사의 비판적 사고 성향과 문제 해결 능력이 직무 수행 능력에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Critical Thinking Disposition and Problem Solving Ability on the Work Performance Assessment of Dental Hygienists)

  • 본 연구는 치과 임상에서 근무하는 치과위생사의 직무 수행 능력을 증진시키기 위하여 비판적 사고 성향, 문제 해결 능력, 직무 수행 능력의 관계를 파악하고자 치과위생사 335명을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구방법은 일반적 특성에 따른 비판적 사고 성향, 문제 해결 능력, 직무 수행 능력을 빈도와 일원배치분산분석으로 기술통계하였고 관련성을 보기 위해 상관분석을 했으며, 인과관계와 매개효과 확인을 위해 구조방정식 모형분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 대상자의 비판적 사고 성향과 문제 해결 능력은 연령, 최종학력, 근무경력이 많을수록 평균 총 점수가 높아졌으며 통계적으로 유의하였다. 직무 수행 능력도 연령, 학력, 경력이 높을수록 평균 총 점수는 높았으나 학력을 제외한 연령과 근무경력만 유의하게 나타났다. 대상자의 비판적 사고 성향, 문제 해결 능력, 직무 수행 능력간의 관련성은 모두 양의 상관관계를 보였으며 모두 유의하였다. 구조방정식 모형은 비판적 사고 성향에서 문제 해결 능력, 문제 해결 능력에서 직무 수행 능력, 비판적 사고 성향에서 직무 수행 능력 모두 직접효과가 있었으며 유의하였다. 비판적 사고 성향이 문제 해결 능력에 의해 매개되어 직무 수행 능력에 영향을 미치는 간접효과도 유의하였다. 즉, 직접효과, 간접효과가 모두 유의하여 부분 매개효과가 확인되었다. 결론적으로 치과위생사의 비판적 사고 성향과 문제 해결 능력을 동시에 향상하는 것이 직무 수행 능력 증진에 도움을 줄 수 있다는 것이다. 따라서 비판적 사고 성향과 문제 해결 능력을 같이 강화할 수 있는 다각적 교육과정 접근법 개발과 지속적인 시행이 필요할 것이며, 더불어 체계적인 지원구축으로 치과위생사의 직무 수행 능력의 증진을 도모할 수 있도록 제언한다.

사례관리자의 직무스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인 (The Affective Factors of Case Managers' Occupational Stress)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to learn the affective factors of case managers' occupational stress. Method: A total of 986 participants responded to a self-administered questionnaire that included 24 items of Korean Occupational Stress Questionnaire Short Form (KOSQSF), job satisfaction index, health behaviors, general characteristics, and variables related to work. The data collection of research was done from 17th to 21th of September, 2007. The data were analysed by t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression with SPSS 11.1 package program. Result: The results of this study were as follows: The overall job satisfaction rate of men and women was highly than that of the Korean worker's standard. There were statistically significant differences in occupational stress in work place, work department, work position, smoking, treatment in out-patient clinic, subjective & relative health-status, work load, supervisor's review on work-ability, and job satisfaction. According to the multi-variate analysis, occupational stress(47.6%) was related to job satisfaction, workload, individual work-ability, supervisor's review on work-ability, health status and gender. Conclusion: Occupational stress varied depending on the ten variables and was influenced by job satisfaction(35.7%) and 5 other variables. The results suggest that further follow-up study on case managers is necessary to relieve their occupational stress.

Importance of an Integrated Assessment of Functional Disability and Work Ability in Workers Affected by Low Back Pain

  • Background: This study examines the relationship between functional disability and work ability in workers affected by low back pain (LBP) through an analysis of correlations between the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) and Work Ability Index (WAI). The role of personal and work factors on functional disability/work ability levels has also been studied. LBP is the most common musculoskeletal problem and a major disabling health problem worldwide. Its etiology is multifactorial. Multidisciplinary approaches may help reduce the burden of pain and disability and improve job continuity and reintegration at work. Methods: A cohort of 264 patients affected by LBP from an Italian outpatient clinic were included in a clinical diagnostic/therapeutic trial aiming at rehabilitation and return to work through an integrated investigation protocol. Data were collected during the first medical examination using anamnestic and clinical tools. The final sample is composed of 252 patients, 57.1% man, 44.0 % blue collars, 46.4% with the high school degree, 45.6% married. Results: WAI and ODI reported a negative and fair correlation (r = -0.454; p = .000). Workers with acute LBP symptoms have a higher probability of severe disability than those with chronic LBP symptoms. White collars without depressive symptoms reported higher work ability - even in chronic disability conditions-than those with depressive symptoms. Conclusion: The study found that ODI and WAI have a convergent validity and this suggests that the two tools measure capture distinctive aspects of disability related to personal, environmental, and occupational characteristics. The most important and modifiable prognostic factors found for ODI and WAI were depressive symptoms, workday absence, and intensity of back pain. The study also found a mild association between age and ODI. The study's findings highlight the importance of using a multidisciplinary approach to manage and prevent disability due to LBP.

국민기초생활보장제도의 노동공급 효과 (The Effects of the National Basic Livelihood Security System on labor supply)

  • 2000년 10월부터 시행된 국민기초생활보장제도는 기존에 근로무능력 빈곤가구에게만 제한되어 지급되던 현금지원을 근로능력 빈곤가구에게로 확대하였다. 근로능력가구에 대한 현금지원은 전국민에게 기초보장을 제공한다는 긍정적 측면에도 불구하고 저소득층들의 노동공급을 감소시킬 것이라는 우려를 야기하여 왔다. 본 연구는 한국노동패널 1-5차 자료를 이용하여 국민기초생활보장제도의 영향을 받을 프로그램집단으로 근로능력가구의 저학력자를 설정하고 이중차이모델(difference-in-difference model)을 이용하여 국민기초생활보장제도의 노동공급에 대한 영향을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 국민기초생활보장제도는 취업과 근로시간에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 우리나라에서는 근로능력자에 대한 현금지원이 노동공급에 영향을 미치지 않는다는 것을 제시한다기보다는, 오히려 제도내용이나 실시기간의 제한성 또는 조건부수급제도의 영향 등을 반영한 것으로 보여진다.

Work Ability Index: Psychometric Testing in Aeronautical Industry Workers

  • Background: The Work Ability Index (WAI) is an instrument that measures work ability. The wide dispersion of the WAI internationally has led to its adaptation for use in different countries. This study aimed to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Spanish version of the WAI. Methods: A methodological design was used over an opportunistic sample of 233 workers in the aeronautical industry in Spain. Reliability was evaluated through internal consistency. Factorial validity, known groups, and convergent validity were tested. Results: The Cronbach's alpha and item-total correlation indicated an adequate internal consistency. The confirmatory factor analysis, performed to evaluate the factorial validity, found adequate fit indices for a two-factor solution with a high correlation between the factors. Factor 1, "Subjectively estimated work ability and resources", was composed of 3 subscales and factor 2, "Ill-health-related", of 2 subscales. Subscales 4 and 6 had loading in both factors. Workers under 45 years of age obtained higher significant scores than older ones. Convergent validity was also evidenced since WAI was highly correlated with self-assessment of health status. Conclusions: The Spanish version of the WAI has shown evidence of reliability and validity in this study, supporting its use in individual and collective health surveillance by occupational health professionals. The factorial solution that was found has previously been reported in another international context. However, further research is needed to resolve the discrepancies detected in the role of some subscales between other national and international studies.

간호사의 비판적 사고성향과 간호업무환경이 임상적 의사결정 능력에 미치는 영향 (Impacts of Critical Thinking Disposition and Nursing Work Environment on Nurses' Clinical Decision Making Abilities)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the relationships of critical thinking disposition (CT), nursing work environment (NWE), and clinical decision making ability among nurses. Methods: A cross-sectional, descriptive study design was conducted on 192 nurses who had worked for more than six months in five general hospitals. A self-reported questionnaire was used to collect data, which included demographics, CT, NWE, and clinical decision making ability. Results: The mean score of CT was 3.5. The highest score was on the objectivity of CT and the lowest on systematicity. The mean score of NWE was 2.3. The highest score was on the collegial nurse-physician relations of NWE and the lowest on the staffing and resource adequacy. The mean score of clinical decision making ability was 3.3. In hierarchical multiple regression, affecting factors on clinical decision making ability were CT and NWE. Conclusion: The findings showed that clinical decision making ability is associated with CT and NWE. To improve clinical decision making ability, it is important to improve CT. In addition, it should be considered to improve NWE where the nurses can make a decision with their job through critical thinking.
