E-business managers must make a profit on the goods and services they sell. But e-business retailers are still searching for strategies that work. To test current practices, we became 'phantom shoppers' and bought a randomly chosen set of CDs from a variety of E-business manager. Our findings suggest that order management and logistics skills are pivotal for selling profitably on the Website. In this article, we show how e-business managers can deploy resources creatively to attract the right shoppers, convert these shoppers into buyers, and improve the chances of repeat purchase while maintaining profit margins.

웹사이트의 사용성은 정보시스템 설계와 전자상거래 영역의 연구자 및 실무자들의 지속적인 관심의 대상이다. 높은 사용성을 가진 웹사이트는 사용자의 생산적 활동을 자극하고 사이트 내의 콘텐츠 소비량을 증가시키는 등 바람직한 결과를 낳을 수 있다. 항행성은 사용성을 평가하는 가장 중요한 지표 중 하나로 항행성의 개선은 사용성의 증가와 직결된다. 본 연구는 시선 분석을 바탕으로 대한민국 정부의 보건복지부 웹사이트의 항행성 개선을 통해 사용성을 증진시키기 위한 노력을 담고 있다. 실행 연구 방법론을 적용한 다년간의 연구 결과 홈페이지의 항행성을 개선시키고자 디자인을 바꾸었고 그 결과를 시선 분석법을 적용하여 추적하고 평가했다. 본 연구는 시선 분석 방법과 실행 연구법을 접목함으로써 전자정부의 서비스 개선을 항행성 측면에서 진단하여 사용성 개선 연구에 관한 이론적 시사점 및 실무적 교훈을 획득하였다.

전통적으로 새로운 기술에 대한 사용과 확산은 수용적 관점에서 많은 연구자들에게 관심거리였으며 신기술 수용후의 사용행동에 대한 설명을 위해 사용-확산(use-diffusion) 패러다임이 제시되었다. 본 연구는 새로운 마케팅 도구로서의 의료 웹사이트와 어플리케이션에 대한 소비자들의 사용유형과 지속적 사용의도를 파악하기 위해 사용확산모형을 바탕으로 의료정보의 품질, 의료 웹사이트와 어플리케이션의 사용성, 개인의 혁신성, 주관적 규범 등 사용량과 사용다양성의 선행변수로 보았다. 연구결과 주관적 규범이 의료 웹사이트나 어플리케이션의 사용량에 미치는 영향을 제외하고 모든 선행변수들이 사용다양성과 사용량에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이 사용량과 사용다양성의 사용유형은 의료 웹사이트와 어플리케이션이라는 새로운 의료 온라인마케팅 도구에 대한 지속적 사용과 유의한 연관성이있음을 알 수 있었다.

Various websites have been created due to the increased use of the Internet, and the number of documents distributed through these websites has increased proportionally. However, it is not easy to collect newly updated documents rapidly. Web crawling methods have been used to continuously collect and manage new documents, whereas existing crawling systems applying a single node demonstrate limited performances. Furthermore, crawlers applying distribution methods exhibit a problem related to effective node management for crawling. This study proposes an efficient distributed crawler through stepwise crawling node allocation, which identifies websites' properties and establishes crawling policies based on the properties identified to collect a large number of documents from multiple websites. The proposed crawler can calculate the number of documents included in a website, compare data collection time and the amount of data collected based on the number of nodes allocated to a specific website by repeatedly visiting the website, and automatically allocate the optimal number of nodes to each website for crawling. An experiment is conducted where the proposed and single-node methods are applied to 12 different websites; the experimental result indicates that the proposed crawler's data collection time decreased significantly compared with that of a single node crawler. This result is obtained because the proposed crawler applied data collection policies according to websites. Besides, it is confirmed that the work rate of the proposed model increased.

Recently, the marine leisure industry has begun to make a mark on the growth engines of the Korean economy. Hence, various government research projects are in progress to catch up with the fundamental yacht technologies of advanced countries. Research on the integrated management technologies of sail yachts is carried out as a part of those projects. Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is a basic architecture for robust and high-level management systems. In this paper, we suggest a product-oriented Yacht Work Breakdown Structure (YWBS). General WBS has a drawback in that it can only follow the targeted purpose, but YWBS allows for a generic WBS approach. This concept allows us to apply WBS to multi-purpose uses. The YWBS is used as an infrastructure in information management and for data relationships in sail yacht management systems. YWBS is designed and managed by a web application, and the system is implemented with a website as a user interface. This application has not only a design function, but also a data transfer function that is based on the Microsoft Silverlight platform, a kind of Rich Internet Application (RIA) technology. Using this application, YWBS designers can communicate with the management system without added tasks like as uploading and updating.

최근 고용 시장은 프리랜서 비율 상승과 근무 형태 다양화로 인해 변화하고 있다. 그러나 현재의 업무 관리 서비스는 여러 도구를 사용하는 불편함이 있다. 이 논문은 급여 유동성을 갖는 근무자를 대상으로, 캘린더, 메모 도구, 급여 계산기를 통합한 업무 관리 서비스를 제안한다. 이를 통해 한 플랫폼에서 업무 관리를 수행하고, 급여 계산과 기간별 급여 조회가 가능해진다. 또한 일정 공유, 채팅을 통한 의사소통과 자료 공유로 팀의 성과 향상을 기대할 수 있다. 더 나아가, 서비스의 확장 가능성과 추가 연구의 필요성도 언급하고 있다.

Anonymity is one of the key factors that influence communication and the work behaviours of people. It is even more evident in an online community where the role of anonymity can be akin to a double-edged sword: it can increase participation while at the same time having detrimental effects due to irresponsible and disruptive behaviour. Most studies on anonymous participation in groups or communities have reported this ambivalent view of anonymity: positive or negative. Furthermore, the effects of anonymous participation may be different in a dynamic sense because the task characteristics of participation can vary across time. In this study, we hypothesise that the effects of anonymity in online collaboration differ across the stages of collaboration. We analysed 2,978 featured articles on the English-language Wikipedia website and investigated the contributions of anonymous participants. While the contributions of anonymous participants were negative to collaboration efficiency as a whole, the negative effect of anonymous participants was stronger in the earlier stage than the later stage of collaboration. These findings indicate that the effect of anonymity has two sides in terms of collaboration efficiency in the same collaborative environment.

In spite of the socio-economic benefits of the construction industry, it accounts for many deaths, injuries and illnesses in many countries. In developing countries like Vietnam, the situation is even worse. Health and safety (H&S) management plays a crucial role in the efforts to improve H&S performance as it contributes to mitigating the risks of occupational injuries and illnesses. However, within the wider H&S literature in Vietnam, there is no insight into the current state of affairs of H&S management, particularly in terms of the management practices that need attention in order to improve H&S management across the construction sector. This study therefore presents the findings of an inquiry into the H&S management practices of contractors in Vietnam. The study employed a questionnaire survey which yielded 58 responses from contractors, particularly those operating in Southern Vietnam. Some commonly implemented H&S management practices by the contractors are: provision of personal protective equipment (94%), allocation of H&S supervisor on site (90%), and displaying of company H&S policy on construction sites, company website, and head/branch offices (86%). Some of the less implemented practices are: networking/engaging with other companies/institutions (e.g. government offices) about H&S issues (39%), rewarding workers for safe work behaviour (39%), reviewing and updating H&S plans (48%), and displaying regulatory H&S posters on site (45%). The findings have provided some insight into the current state of affairs of the H&S management practices of contractors in Southern Vietnam and could thus inform efforts by industry stakeholders to improve the aspects of H&S management that are lagging.

본 연구는 비즈니스 혁신의 하나인 프로세스 이노베이션에 대한 공공도서관으로의 적용가능성을 탐구한 것이다. 이를 위하여 문헌연구를 통해서 프로세스 이노베이션에 대한 개념을 정의하고 나아가 공공도서관의 사서들을 대상으로 서면 질문조사와 포커스그룹 인터뷰를 병행하여 도서관 업무를 수서 및 정리, 자료실 운영, 이용자 관리, 이용자 서비스, 프로그램, 자원봉사자 관리, 도서관 홍보, 도서관전산화 시스템, 시설 및 비품 관리, 서무와 통계 관리로 대분하고 각 업무별 세부업무를 확인한 다음, 공통분모를 도출하였다. 이어서 구글 행아웃을 통한 공공도서관 사서들과의 다자간 대면 인터뷰를 통하여 수서와 정리, 이용자 관리 업무에 있어서 프로세스 개선의 필요성 및 가능성을 확인하고 프로세스 이노베이션을 적용한 개선방안과 함께 새로운 적용 모델을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 도서계약 및 희망도서 관련 업무의 절차를 개선하여 보다 신속하게 이용자의 요구를 충족할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. 이용자 관리 부분에서는 미국의 30개 공공도서관에 대한 웹 사이트 조사를 통하여 회원가입 시 요구 사항과 가입 절차를 분석하고 나아가 기존 공공도서관의 회원가입 절차에 대한 프로세스 분석을 통하여 개선된 프로세스를 제공함으로써 이용자의 만족도 향상과 함께 도서관 업무 프로세스의 개선에도 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

본 연구는 교육연구기관에서 생산된 지식정보자원이 기관의 지식관리시스템으로 역할을 수행하는지 살펴보고, 국가지식관리시스템의 방안 제시를 위하여 시도되었다. 홈페이지에서 제공되는 지식정보자원을 '결과의 지식정보자원', '과정의 지식정보자원', '소통의 지식정보자원'으로 분류하고, 내용분석법을 사용하여 메타데이터의 적용 현황, 검색시스템의 구성 현황을 분석하였다. 연구결과, 홈페이지 지식정보자원 관리의 개선을 위하여 표준화된 유형별 메타데이터와 분류체계의 개발, 홈페이지가 기관 생산지식정보자원의 대외 유통 창구라는 인식 고취, 홈페이지 지식정보자원에 대한 다양한 검색기능과 지식지도 제공, 원문 획득을 위한 연계정보 제공, 조직 운영자와 홈페이지 관리자의 기관 홈페이지에 대한 지식관리시스템으로서의 인식, 모바일 환경에 적합한 데이터 크기 분할과 제공 단위의 다양화 작업, 내부 전자결재시스템과 홈페이지의 유기적인 연계 기능을 제시하였다.
