Prediction of Energy Consumption in a Smart Home Using Coherent Weighted K-Means Clustering ARIMA Model

  • Technology is progressing with every passing day and the enormous usage of electricity is becoming a necessity. One of the techniques to enjoy the assistances in a smart home is the efficiency to manage the electric energy. When electric energy is managed in an appropriate way, it drastically saves sufficient power even to be spent during hard time as when hit by natural calamities. To accomplish this, prediction of energy consumption plays a very important role. This proposed prediction model Coherent Weighted K-Means Clustering ARIMA (CWKMCA) enhances the weighted k-means clustering technique by adding weights to the cluster points. Forecasting is done using the ARIMA model based on the centroid of the clusters produced. The dataset for this proposed work is taken from the Pecan Project in Texas, USA. The level of accuracy of this model is compared with the traditional ARIMA model and the Weighted K-Means Clustering ARIMA Model. When predicting,errors such as RMSE, MAPE, AIC and AICC are analysed, the results of this suggested work reveal lower values than the ARIMA and Weighted K-Means Clustering ARIMA models. This model also has a greater loglikelihood, demonstrating that this model outperforms the ARIMA model for time series forecasting.

가정전문간호사의 업무 스트레스 (A Survey on the Job Stress of Home Care Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the job stress in home care nurses. Method: The subjects were 139 home care nurses of hospital in an urban cities. The data were collected from 26 Man to 27 June by self report adherence questionnaire. Job stress was measured using CHN-PWRSQ(Community Health Nurses Perceptions of Work-Related Stressors Questionnaire). Result: The average score of job stress was 60.8. There were significantly high levels of job stress in those who have less than 10 years office period, those who have less than 2000000 won monthly salary than in their counterparts. With regard to the level of job stress by item, 'driving long distance and traffic jam', 'risk of traffic accident', 'bad weather condition', 'uncooperative family members', and 'uncooperative client/patient' were higher than other items. The age and office period were negatively correlated with job stress. Conclusion: The average score of job stress was 60.8. 가정전문간호사의 감정노동, 직무 스트레스, 개인적 자원의 직무만족도와의 관련성 (Relations of Job Satisfaction with Emotional Labor, Job Stress, and Personal Resources in Home Healthcare Nurses)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study is to identify effects of emotional labor, job stress and personal resources on job satisfaction in home healthcare nurses. Methods: The subjects were 149 home healthcare nurses working for home healthcare centers at 61 hospitals. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire from November 22, 2010 to February 28, 2011 and analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, Hierarchical multiple linear regression analysis. Results: The mean score of emotional labor level was $4.23{\pm}0.95$, that of job stress level $3.39{\pm}0.57$, that of personal resources $3.38{\pm}0.36$, and that of job satisfaction $3.31{\pm}0.40$. There were positive correlations among emotional labor, job stress, personal resources and job satisfaction. After age, educational level, job position, and work period in home health care, and traffic accident were controlled, the variables, emotional labor (${\beta}$=-.198, p = .034) and personal resources (${\beta}$=.236, p = .005) turned out to account for 13.3% of the job satisfaction. But job stress was not a statistically significant predictor. Conclusion: Home healthcare nurses were needed to minimize emotional labor and revitalize personal resources in order to maintain a comparatively high level of job satisfaction. Furthermore, it is necessary to carry out systematic education and an organizational management scheme into practice.

뇌성마비 아동의 대동작 기능에 대한 가정중심치료 효과 : 체계적 고찰 (Effectiveness of home-based therapy on gross motor function in children with cerebral palsy: A systematic review)

  • Background: Although children with cerebral palsy (CP) are able to walk independently, gait imbalance occurs due to abnormal muscle tone, musculoskeletal deformity, loss of balance, and selective motor control impairment. Gait restriction in the community and school is a major problem of rehabilitation in CP. Home-based therapy (HBT) provides a variety of interventions in which the therapist and the parent work together to resolve the activities and problems caused by the child's body structure. Therefore, we investigate the effectiveness of home-centered therapy on gross motor function in CP and try to present the possibility of clinical application. Design: A Systematic Review Methods: Research papers were published from Jan, 2012 to Jan, 2022 and were searched using Medline and PubMed. The search terms are 'family-centered' OR 'home-based' AND 'cerebral palsy'. A total of nine papers were analyzed in this study. The paper presented the quality level based on Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro) scores to assess the quality of randomized clinical trials studies. Results: The results showed that HBT for strengthening exercise in lower extremity has a positive effect on the isokinetic torque and gross motor function. home-based treadmill therapy in CP is effective to perform at least 12 sessions of treadmill HBP in which the therapist determines the treadmill speed every week and the child's own gait pattern is modified. Conclusion: These results suggest that it will be important data for founding evidence on the effectiveness of home-centered therapy on gross motor function in children with cerebral palsy to advance clinical protocols.

녹색성장을 위한 가정경영의 가치와 실천 (Value and Practice for Green Growth from the Perspective of Family Resource Management)

  • Since environmental problems were globalized, discussions on 'Sustainable Development' started from Rio Declaration on Environment and Development(Rio Agenda 21). In Korea, the idea of 'Green Growth' was introduced and generalized since the celebration speech made on 8.15(Independence Day of South Korea) on 2008. And Low Carbon- Green Growth Basic Law was established on 2010. There are 3 strategies and 10 sub-tasks to achieve green country-traffic and green revolution of life. Family resource management is capable of changing life style from energy wasty to ecologically green. The value of family resource management plays a critical role in changing the lifestyle through influencing the goal and standard setting. So, this study is aimed to suggest the green value and green way of life from the perspective of family resource management. Results are as follow. First, the green value is to change from 'material-oriented' to 'people-oriented'. The 'material-oriented value pursues pleasure from possessing, but the 'people-oriented' value pursues pleasure from being itself. Second, the change from the value of 'human-mastery of the nature' to the value of 'mother -nature' is necessary. The value of 'human-mastery of the nature' seeks pleasure from the velocity and tangible outcome. But the value of 'mother- nature' seeks pleasure from the time to relax and slow way of life. 'Third, the change from the value of 'individualism' to the value of 'community sprit' is necessary. Individualism focuses on man's achievement, which may fall into family egoism. And the green way of life suggests the change from 'results-oriented' to 'enjoy the process itself", from 'consumption' to 'ecological restoration' and from 'work to home and then home to community'.

기혼자의 일-가족 전이에 미치는 영향 연구: 건강가정지원센터 이용유무에 따른 조절효과 중심으로 (Study on the Effects of Work-Family Spillover among Married Individuals: Focusing on the Moderating Effects of the Use of HFSC)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of individual characteristics, family characteristics, job characteristics, and family strength on work-family spillover in dual-earner families focusing on users and non-user of Healthy Family Support Centers(HFSC). The subjects were 703 people who lived in Seoul and Gyeonggi-Do. The results were analyzed by using the PASW 21.0 program. The findings of this study led to the following conclusions: First, the users of HFSC showed a higher level of family strength than the non-users did. This is the users had a high level of awareness of family's values and importance compared to the non-users. Second, the users revealed higher levels at a positive spillover from work to family and from family to work than the non-users. Therefore, it is confirmed that the users have a positive view of work-family spillover due to their family strength. Finally, there was a significant result at the moderation effects of work-family spillover according to personal traits, family and job characteristics. Specifically, work-family negative spillover was effected family strength through the age of the users' children. The result suggest that family strength has positive effects on the family cycle. It will be worthwhile to pay attention in future research to discover what is the appropriate support for dual earner families.

가정교과에서의 저출산.고령사회를 위한 교육과 실천 사례 (Education and Application for low Fertility.Aged Society in Home Economics Education)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 '저출산 고령사회' 대비를 위하여 가정교과의 역할을 탐색하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 2007년 개정 교육과정에서의 저출산 고령사회 대비 가정교과 교육의 내용요소를 찾고, 정부에서 진행 중인 저출산 고령사회 대비 정책에서 가정교과 교육이 수행할 수 있는 역할과 실천방안을 강구한 결과를 바탕으로 서울 중구 건강가정지원센터에서 "부모와 자녀가 함께 듣는 '가정' 수업"을 실시하였다. 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 저출산 고령사회 대비하기 위하여 가정교과는 선택으로서의 결혼, 가족생활역량의 강화, 건강한 가족문화 형성, 더불어 사는 이웃의 교육내용이 강조되어야 한다. 둘째, 이러한 교육내용은 '결혼 출산 양육에 대한 사회책임 강화', '일과 가정의 양립 가족친화적 사회문화 조성', '건강하고 보호받는 노후 생활 보장' 등의 새로마지플랜2010 사업과 서울특별시교육청의 저출산 고령사회 시행 계획에 포함된 '가족 친화 및 효문화 함양 교육 강화', '저출산 고형사회 관련 학교교육 강화', '양성평등 사회 조성 가치관 교육 강화' 등의 내용과 일치하였다. 셋째, 서울 중구건강가정지원센터에서 "부모와 자녀가 함께 듣는 가정 수업"을 실시한 결과 참가자들의 긍정정적 반응을 얻었고, 사회교육 현장에서도 중추적 역할이 가능하다는 것을 확인할 수 있다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 가정교과는 청소년들의 '저출산 고령사회'에 대한 의식을 함양시키고 이에 대한 가치판단과 자기 주도적 해결 능력을 양성할 수 있으며, 지역사회와 연계하여 저출산 고령사회 대비 교육이 실천가능하다는 사실을 알 수 있다.

가정간호를 위한 간호과정 정보시스템 개발 (Development of Nursing Process Information System for the Home Health Care)

  • 본 연구는 가정간호사의 표준간호중재를 개발하여 이를 근거로 각각의 진단과 연결된 중재를 분류하고 프로토콜을 전산화하여 사용함으로써 의료기관간, 또한 의료인간의 격차를 없애고 서비스의 질 개선에 도움을 주고자 시행하였다. 연구방법은 크게 가정간호 표준중재 개발과정과 개발된 가정간호 표준중재 프로토콜을 전산화하는 과정으로 나누었는데, 가정간호 표준중재를 개발하기 위하여 먼저, 국내외 가정간호사의 직무분석, 대상자 사정 프로토콜 개발, 대상자 진단 프로토콜 개발, 대상자 중재 프로토콜 개발의 4가지 연구내용으로 구성하였다. 개발된 가정간호 표준 중재 프로토콜을 전산화하는 과정으로, 크게 가정간호 정보시스템을 위한 전략수립과 가정간호 정보시스템의 분석, 설계, 운영 및 평가 등의 4개 연구내용으로 구성하였다. 개발된 프로그램은 P시에서 가정간호사업 실시 기관에 근무하는 가정간호사를 대상으로, 가정간호 정보시스템 매뉴얼을 사용하여 직접 시범, 교육하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 표준 가정간호중재에 속하는 구성요소를 가정간호정보조사지, 가정간호경과기록지, 가정간호경과요약서, 가정간호종결 요약서 양식에 포함될 수 있도록 개발하였으며, 표준 가정간호중재가 개발됨으로써 가정간호사업부서 간의 정보교환이 용이하고 기록의 누락 및 중복을 막을 수 있으며 EMR, HMR 개발시 병원용어의 표준화에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

기업의 자녀돌봄지원제도가 미취학자녀를 둔 기혼여성의 이직의향 및 일-가정 상호작용에 미치는 영향 (The effect of family care program in workplace on turnover intention and work-family interaction for married working women)

  • The purpose of this study is to demonstrate how having a family care program in the workplace for working women with preschool children affects these women's work and family life. This study employs a panel analysis based on data from the Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women and Families. The major results are as follows. First, financial support for nursery care is only significantly related to the turnover of married women with preschool children. Second, the negative effects of work on the family are significantly influenced by financial support for nursery care and maternity leave. Third, financial support for nursery care is also significantly related to the positive effects of work on the family. In conclusion, a family-friendly care program including financial support for nursery care and maternity leave in the workplace is an important support system for working mothers in raising their children.

직무스트레스와 소진이 간호사의 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (Influences of Job Stress and Burnout on Turnover Intention of Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study were to understand the general hospital nurses' work stress, burn out and turnover intention and to identify the factors that influence on turnover intention. Methods: This study was conducted through a survey of 283 nurses having at least 6 months of work experience of 4 general hospitals in Seoul. Data were collected from September to October 2009. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ANOVA, and stepwise multiple regression test with SPSS WIN 14.0. Results: The score for turnover intention was 3.57 out of 5. Turnover intention was significantly correlated with work stress, burn out, and working position. The factors influencing turnover intention were organizational system, depersonalization, physical environment, work position, and occupational climate. The predict variables accounted for 27.9% of turnover intention. Conclusion: The results of this study show that factors influencing turnover intention are organizational system, depersonalization, physical environment, work position, and organizational climate. Therefore, nursing managers should understand the organization's climate and establish a reasonable organization system to decrease turnover intention.
