임상간호사의 감정노동과 직무 스트레스 정도 비교 (Comparison of Emotional Labor and Job Stress of Hospital Nursing Staff)

  • Purpose: This study was to investigate the relationship between the level of emotional labor and occupational job stress of hospital nursing staff. Methods: The survey was conducted from Mar. to Oct. 2009 to collect data from clinical nurses (N=496). Results: The study showed that nurses without religion and those working in big-sized hospitals had higher scores in emotional labor, and those of 26~30 years old felt the highest stress in the occupational role. The same applied to the married, more work experienced, atheist and those working in big-sized hospitals. Unmarried, under educated nurses with less work experience working in the big-sized hospitals showed higher scores in personal strain. The scores of the personal resources depended on religion, work experience, marital status and position of their jobs. Emotional labor was positively correlated with an occupational role and personal strain, respectively, but the emotional labor, occupational role and personal strain were negatively correlated with personal resources respectively. Conclusion: Intervention program is required to reduce overload of nurse's role and to relieve physical and psychological strains of the under-30-age-group. Also, social support and rational/cognitive coping must be reinforced.

이직의도가 있는 임상간호사의 소진경험에 관한 현상학적 연구 (Phenomenological Study on Burnout Experience of Clinical Nurses Who have Turnover Intention)

  • Purpose: This study was aimed to understand the meaning and essentials of the experience of burnout for hospital nurses with turnover intention. Methods: The design was a qualitative research of phenomenological study. Participants: Seven hospital nurses who had worked over three years and had experiences of turnover intention in a hospital with over 400 beds were included. Results: Nine meaningful themes related to burnout experiences and four theme clusters of 1) battery warning sounds almost out; 2) the player who hit the drum and double-headed drum; 3) the target flying arrow without a break; and 4) the pendulum swaying to turn over. Registered nurses (RNs) felt burnout with an overload of work and by the thought that it was illegal action for registered nurses to receive insufficient rewards for their work. RNs also experienced there were no problem solving strategies to verbal violence by patient and medical team. Conclusion: The findings show that burnout experiences for those who had turnover intention was developed from the insight that insufficient training to do work independently with over-load for nurses was not ethical. It suggests that it is necessary to rethink training systems for nursing and hospitals to relieve turnover intention.

  • Gondola is widely used as a construction facility to perform external finishing work without using scaffolding at a construction site. However, since 2000, there have been 17 deaths from now so these risks associated with work can not be ignored. Therefore, it is expected that it will contribute greatly to prevent related disasters if introducing necessary measures to prevent repeated related disasters and installing additional safety devices. In order to eliminate the risk factor according to the operation of the gondola, it is necessary for the operator to use it to use it while the examination of each product is completed, and to use the over load Dangerous arbitrary measures such as arbitrary operation of the prevention device, removal of the safety fence for convenience of work, installation of the wire rope installed in the air, falling out of the wire rope and falling to the ground Do not perform such sealing measures so that any operation of the overload prevention device can not be done so as not to take such arbitrary measures, or wire the power supply wire to the safety fence so as not to delete the safety fence. 영화에 나타난 번아웃 양상과 해결방식 연구: <꾸뻬씨의 행복여행>과 <잠깐만 회사 좀 관두고 올게>를 중심으로 (A Study on Burnout Aspects and Solutions in Movies: Focusing on and )

  • 최근 빈번히 사용되고 있는 '번아웃'은 치열한 경쟁 속에 사는 현대인들의 심리를 대변하는 대표적인 표현 중 하나다. 본 고에서는 직장인들의 힐링 영화로 손꼽히는 '꾸뻬씨의 행복여행'과 '잠깐만 회사 좀 관두고 올게' 두 편을 번아웃 관점에서 접근, 분석했다. 작품에서 나타난 번아웃의 증상은 무기력증, 짜증, 분노, 불면, 우울, 자살 충동 등이었으며, <꾸뻬씨..>의 경우 반복적인 상담업무에서 오는 가치 충돌이, <잠깐만..>의 경우 업무 과부하와 실적 압박, 동료 커뮤니티의 부재 등이 원인으로 작용하고 있었다. 이러한 번아웃 상태는 등장인물의 대사나 표정은 물론 다양한 사이즈의 부감쇼트와 낮은 조명, 주인공 앞쪽에 물건 배치 등을 통해 시각적으로 표현, 진단이 어려운 번아웃의 심리상태를 직관적으로 표현하고 있었다. 특히 번아웃의 진단 척도인 취미 생활이나 신체활동, 동료 커뮤니티의 유무 등이 번아웃에서 벗어나는데 도움이 된다는 것을 영화를 통해서도 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 이 연구는 노인장기요양 인력의 직무 스트레스와 직무 만족이 이직 의도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 이들의 이직 의도를 감소시키기 위한 제언을 하고 있다. 장기요양서비스를 제공하는 인력의 높은 이직률이 노인들에 대한 서비스 연속성과 서비스 질을 방해하고 있기 때문에 이직에 대한 해결책이 필요하다. 연구 대상은 전남지역 노인장기요양기관에 근무하는 사회복지사, 간호사, 요양보호사를 포함하는 직원 235명이다. 조사 기간은 2009년 7월 1일부터 10일까지 진행하였고, 자료수집은 자기기입식 방법의 설문지를 활용하여 수집하였으며, 분석방법으로 SPSS 12.0을 이용하여 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 이 연구에서 사용한 직무스트레스 척도는 MBI의 정서적 탈진 척도롤 활용하였고, 직무 만족은 한국노동패널의 전반적 직무만족도 척도를 활용하였으며, 이직 의도는 조직구성원의 자발적 이직 의도를 측정하는 척도를 활용하였다. 분석 결과에 의하면, 사회인구학적 특성으로 연령, 교육수준, 직위, 기관위치 등의 변수가 유의미한 영향을 미쳤고, 직무 스트레스와 직무 만족 변수도 이직 의도에 유의미한 영향을 끼쳤다. 연구 결과를 통해 이직 의도를 예방하기 위하여 직무 스트레스를 줄이고, 직무 만족을 높이는 전략이 필요함을 확인하였다. 결론으로 장기요양 인력의 이직 의도를 예방하기 위한 제도적 실천적 함의를 제언하였다.

노동강도 제거 및 양끝정렬 균일화를 위한 양끝절단포장적재시스템 개발 (The package loading equipment development cutting both ends in the process of packaging lumber for improving the working environments)

  • The package loading process of the lumbering industry is an operation that after a pair of workers bind three or six lumbers into one unit and cut both ends of the lumbers, transports the weight cargo of 30-50kg by one meter, pack and load at a height of 1.2 meters. This package loading process causes lots of noise and wood dust when workers carry out the heavy work as the above. Therefore we developed the monolithic both ends cutting package loading equipment in order to prevent from getting musculoskeletal disease. An loading bar working system of this equipment is improved from pneumatic pressure system to oil pressure system, furnished the newly designed flow dividers, and developed the new system that a both end array is loaded identically. Also we developed the safety equipment of loading bar in order to prevent workers mistake and overload from malfunction during the package loading process. The main cause of job evasion on working place could be solved by preventing the musculoskeletal disease and improving the working environments.

일반 간호사의 직무 스트레스 반응에 대한 결정 요인 (A study on the determinants of job stress responses of the staff nurses)

  • Purpose : This paper was attempted to identify the job stress related factors among the staff nurses and to provide the basic data concerning development of stress management program focused on hospitals. Method : The subjects were 309 staff nurses at two general hospitals in Seoul. Data were collected with self-reported questionnaires and analyzed by SPSS-PC+10.0 for descriptive analysis, ANOVA, stepwise multiple regression, factor analysis. Results : The subjects exhibit significantly highest level of 'the participation in decision making factor'. The mean score of 'control coping strategies' was higher than 'avoid coping strategies'. The mean scores of social support and stress responses were high. The main factor that affected the stress responses was 'the job characteristic factor' and it was explained 23.0% out of the total variance of the stress responses. Also, it would be explained 42.6% out of the total variance of the stress responses with 'the control coping strategies, work overload factors, social support, and participation in decision making factors'. Conclusion: For developing the hospital- focused stress management program for staff nurses, 'the participation in decision making factors' and 'the job characteristics' should be considered. Also, the organizational efforts and supports should be required to support and use of 'control coping strategies' of nurses

가정전문간호사의 직무스트레스 측정 도구 개발 (Scale Development of Job Stress for Home Care Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a job stress scale for hospital-based home care nurses in Korea. The process was construction of the conceptual framework, development of the preliminary items, verification of the content validity, item analysis and test of the reliability. The preliminary items were based on literature review and in-depth interviews with home care nurses. As a result, eight categories and sixty items were selected. These were reviewed by seven specialists for content validity and finally fifty one items were chosen. Data was collected from 180 home care nurses who were engaged in 87 hospitals from August to September 2003. The result of item analysis one was excepted, The final item count was 50. Categories were as follows: overload work(8 items), lack of specialized knowledge and technique(5 items), ethical dilemma(4 items), role conflict(5 items), interpersonal relationships(6 items), visiting home environment(9 items), driving conditions(4 items) and lack of administrative support(9 items), The reliability of the scale by Cronbach's alpha was .948 and the domain's reliability ranged from .649 to .841. The result of this study could be used to measure the job stress of home care nurses. However, for further validity and reliability, repeated studies will be necessary.

  • Unlike other mass production in small variety, shipbuilding process is a project-based method in single variety, which causes unpredictable volatility in the planning system. In shipyards, series of manufacturing processes from fabrication to erection is sequentially carried out. In order to predict unfavorable changes such as overload or low load of working volume, computerized simulation has been being gradually adopted. The data used in the simulation are processed from the database of the main scheduling and planning system. Thus the quality of those data is very crucial for the meaningful results. Unfortunately, research on the verification of data quality is very rare and hardly known to the authors. In this work, using the database of scheduling and product information system of a large domestic shipyard, the data required for the simulation are qualitatively analyzed and verified.

  • A web-based client/server program, MOVIDIK(Motor-Operated-Valve Integrated Database Information of KEPCO) has been developed to perform a design basis safety evaluation for a motor-operated-valve(MOV) in the nuclear power plant. The MOVIDIK consists of seven analysis modules and one administrative module. The analysis module calculates a differential pressure on the valve disk, thrust/torque acting at a valve stem, maximum allowable stress, thermal-overload-relay selection, voltage degradation, actuator output and margin. In addition, the administrative module manages user information, approval system and code information. MOVIDIK controls a huge amount of evaluation data and piles up the safety information of safety-related MOV. The MOVIDIK will improve the efficiency of safety evaluation work and standardize the analysis process for the MOV.
