Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a valid tool for measuring the work environment of Korean nurses and test the validity and reliability of the instrument. Methods: This is a methodological study for developing and testing a measurement tool. The conceptual framework for the tool was formed through a literature review and in-depth interviews with clinical nurses. 260 meaningful statements were derived through this process, and 59 of the primary items were generated out of these statements. On the basis of the content validity test, 41 items were selected for the preliminary tool. A total of 350 nurses from 7 hospitals responded to the preliminary questionnaire in October 2011. Results: After the item analysis and the principal component analysis using varimax rotation methods, 11 items were deleted. Considering the conceptual framework and the scree plot, we extracted 4 factors from the final 30 items. These factors were organizational support, head nurse's leadership, support system, and relationship with coworkers, and their total variance was 54.4%. The value of Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ of the final tool was 0.92. Conclusion: The above findings revealed that the Korean Nursing Work Environment Scale (K-NWES) is an appropriate, valid, and reliable tool for evaluating the work environment of Korean nurses. Further research to perform a criterion validity test of the K-NWES is needed.

PURPOSE: It is known that work stress was linked to WRMDs in workplace. The purpose of this study was to identify the characteristics of work related musculoskeletal disorders (WRMDs) related to job stress among prosthetists and orthotists. METHODS: Eighty-six self-reported symptoms of discomfort (SRSD) and job stress were collected by questionnaire and analyzed. RESULTS: The results were as follows: Over 70% of respondents had WRMDs. The shoulder was the most painful region and each of "within 15 minutes", "once a week" and "severe moving or doing exercise" items were main characteristics in the SRSD. Finally, the "repetition of simple work" item in job stress ranked as resulting in "often discomfort" in over 43% of respondents. Additionally, there was a statistically significant correlation between job stress and pain intensity (p<.05, $r_s$=.36). CONCLUSION: Further studies are needed to identify the factors affecting musculoskeletal symptoms and job stress of prosthetists and orthotists in Korea.

Dental assistant in South Korea, The work is overlapped considerably between dental hygienist and dental practical nurse. Moreover, dental technician, hospital coordinator work in dentistry consultation deeply. It cause friction among work scope of occupation's type. Accordingly It is purpose to get basic data which is necessary to deduce division of work training and utilization of human resources in oral health distinguish clearly between business occupations. Also compared and analyzed via analysis of frequency and ANOVA above 10 works around something legal work of dental hygienist regarding work reality of dental assistant in dental clinic and hospital. Compare with scaling, representative item about 10 works center on legal work of dental hygienist, is implementing dental technician 9(75%), practical nurse 64(87.67%), etc. 11(64.71%). Dental assistant except dental hygienist is implementing indigenous legal work of dental hygienist. Dental institution secure enough man power, It is suggested necessity for policy means regarding role and work scope of dental assistant.

The standard of estimate is being used as basic material for appropriating construction expenses of public institutions and private institutions. The present thesis aims to propose a new form of a standard of estimate and a calculation method of work amount of equipment by targeting a representative construction type selected at river reservation work. The present thesis expects that the convenience of users can be expanded by improving applicability of a standard of estimate and simplifying a calculation process of work amount of equipment in a process planning stage so that the provision of work crew lineup information and daily productivity information is possible by a standard of estimate. In case of river conservation work, because the variables called work conditions act very largely, there exists much difficulty for generalizing productivity information and work amount of equipment, but if its accuracy could be enhanced by improving continuous productivity information and work amount information of equipment, the simplification of process planning establishment and cumulative process through a standard of estimate would be possible.

In recent years, apartment finishing work items have increasingly become more upscale and diverse, and the kinds have increased in exponential numbers. A huge amount of information about finishing work items is produced and changed in the stages of planning finishing work item design and selecting alternatives in the early days of an apartment project. However, there are many problems raised by the poor information management of finishing work items. Thus this study suggested a cost-based information management system to manage information about finishing work items generated in the initial stage of an apartment project. In order to build the suggested system, the investigator designed an information management system based on the concepts and organization of system. And after setting a scenario of selecting finishing work items by conditions including the initial information values of finishing work items, information management for each alternative, and cost fix or free condition, I implemented and applied a prototype of an information management system for finishing work items among the participants including the project manager, interior designer, and builder.

Recent advances in the Web technology have been changing our life in various aspects. These advances have brought us new paradigms of education. The Web provides teachers with many opportunities to implement wide ranges of new teaching and learning practices, which supplement the traditional classroom teaching-learning. Especially, the Web enables so-called WBI (Web-based instruction) system as a teaching aid. Now the WBI system can incorporate multimedia information with various communication and collaborative tools. In order for the WBI system to be successful, various supports are necessary. One of such supports comes from assessment. In this work, an item pool system for leveled assessment is designed and implemented. The proposed system has the following characteristics. First, the item pool is classified into three categories subject, semester, and chapter. This categorization makes lookup easier and faster. Second, any teacher can use the item pool system and enter their questions into the item pool. Third, the proposed system reflects various levels of students for each course. Thus, students can select their exams based on their progress and background. Finally, it can make difficulty of each item to be objective by repeated tests and refinements.

Much of the past work regarding repairable item stockage has concentrated on the development of models and policies for systems in steady state. However, there are important situations in which the transient behavior is most important. A dramatic example of this is the potential dynamic behavior exhibited by demands and service in the deployment of an Air Force squadron at the onset of a conflict. The purpose of this paper is to derive some probability distributions necessary for providing an integrated approach for a multi-echelon inventory system with nonstationary demands and service rates.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to improve awareness of male dental hygiene by investigating the dentists' perception of male dental hygienists' image and work performance in clinical practice. Methods: The participants were 102 dentists who agreed to participate in this study. They completed- a self-administered questionnaire survey available on a website. The questionnaire comprised 26 questions, with each item scored on a 5-point Likert scale. Results: The male dentists perceived that with an increase in the experience of male dental hygienists would be willing to pay more than for female dental hygienists. In the case of male dentists, male dental hygienists perceived that they would feel stressed in a women-centered work environment. Additionally, it was found that dentists who had experience working with Male dental hygienists responded more positively to work performance awareness than had no experience (p<0.05). Conclusions: Active employment of male dental hygienists in clinical practice, could positively change dentists' perception of male dental hygienists.
