연장근로에 따른 아동돌봄 형태와 일 가족 갈등: 초등학생 이하 자녀를 둔 취업모를 중심으로 (Variations in Childcare Style and Work-Family Conflict Related to Extended Working Hours: Focusing on Employed Mothers of Preschoolers or Elementary-School Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate whether employed mothers' extended working hours have effects on childcare style and work-family conflicts. The data came from the 2007 Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women and Family(KLoWF) of the Korean Women's Development Institute. 475 females with preschoolers or elementary-school children were used in this study. The major findings can be summarized as follows: (1) Weekly average working hours varied by education, salary, and the presence of preschoolers. (2) The time of childcare was significantly shorter in mothers who work more than 50 hours/week (3) Mothers who worked more than 50 hours/week felt significantly high work-family conflict. These analyses pointed to the importance of obeying the law related to working hours as the most important thing to sustain work-family balance. Institutional foundations should be enabled to keep legal working hours.

임금근로자의 작업장 유해위험요인 노출이 근로환경에 대한 만족도에 미치는 영향 (The effect of the exposure to hazard factors on job satisfaction in employees)

  • This study was planned to investigate the effect of the exposure to hazard factors on work environment satisfaction. Existing researches about job satisfaction have focused on the general working conditions, such as working hours, wage, human relationship, job task and so on. Korean Working Conditions Survey was used for this study because that relevant questions were included. The effect of the exposure to hazard factors on work environment satisfaction may be produced by hierarchical regression analysis because of comparison with existing model for work environment satisfaction. The exposure to hazards factors were statistically significant effect on work environment satisfaction after adjusting other confounding variables, such as gender, age, educational level, job security, work hour, work load, work autonomy, social support, etc. This study has some limitation because that KWCS was cross sectional survey. Some researches about the causal effect and its mechanism may be suggested as future study.

  • When PCB soldering is performed with microscope due to the electronic components' microminiaturization, workers' awkward upper body postures and difficulties being in focus among lens, object and eyes are one of reasons for productivity decline. The object of this study is to investigate the level of difficulties of work and the extent of productivity improvement by changing work interfaces from the work using microscope to the work using LCD monitor. Independent variables was usage of microscope and image system and dependent variables were upper body segments including neck, shoulder, back, and waist, task convenience and eye fatigue. The Visual Analogue Scale (10cm) was used for questionnaire and one way ANOVA (two levels) and two sample t-test were conducted. In addition, RULA rating was conducted for working postures. The result showed that interface changes of LCD monitor, suggested by productivity comparison per one Man Hour, highly contributed to work convenience and productivity improvement.

일 소아 중환자실에서의 12시간 교대근무가 간호사의 직무만족도, 삶의 질, 안전사건 보고 및 시간 외 근무에 미치는 영향 (Impact of 12-hour Shifts on Job Satisfaction, Quality of Life, Hospital Incident Reporting, and Overtime Hours in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to compare job satisfaction, quality of life (QOL), incident report rate and overtime hours for 12-hour shifts and for 8-hour shifts in a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). Methods: A descriptive survey was conducted with a convenience sample of 36 staff nurses from a PICU in a regional hospital in Korea. Data were collected using self-administrated questionnaires regarding job satisfaction and QOL at 6 months before and after the beginning of 12-hour shifts. Incident report rate and overtime hours for both 12-hour and 8-hour shifts were compared. Comparisons were made using $x^2$-test, paired t-test and Mann-Whitney U test. Results: After 12-hour shifts were initiated, job satisfaction significantly increased (t=3.93, p<.001) and QOL was higher for nurses on 12-hour shifts compared to 8-hour (t=7.83, p<.001). There was no statistically significant change in incident report rate ($x^2=0.15$, p=.720). The overtimes decreased from $36.3{\pm}34.7$ to $17.3{\pm}34.9$ minutes (Z=-8.91, p<.001). Conclusion: These results provide evidence that 12-hour shifts can be an effective ways of scheduling for staff nurses to increase job satisfaction and quality of life without increasing patient safety incidents or prolonged overtime work hours.

근로여성과 산업피로에 관한 조사연구 (Study on Industrial Fatigue of Working Girls in a Spinning and Weaving Industry)

  • This Study was undertaken to evaluate the present health status and fatigue of the workers in T. Industrial Company in Pusan in Jan. 1971. The results were based on a question are from 354 working girls. The results of this study are as follows: 1. The largest portion of the workers, 20.2% of the questioned employees, were observed to lie at age 20. 2. Regarding their formal education, 76.0% of them had completed middle school. while only 7. 1% had graduated from high school, . 3. 63.0% receive 7-8 hrs. of sleep a day while 18.4% receive S-6 hrs. of sleep a day. 4. 36.4% spend leisure time reading: while 15.5% spend it resting and thinking. 5. 53.8% of them live in the company′s dormitory and 31.6% live at home. 6. Time spent in travel to work: 32.8% spent 40-49 min., 23.6% spent 10-29 min. 7. The shift times were reported as: 44.1% wonting from 8 A.M. to 4 P.M. and 33.9% working from 6. A.M. to 2. P.M. which is what they are doing now. 8. Regarding symptoms of fatigue: 1) Physical symptoms were: 48.3% complained of "feeling bean in the legs, ", and 39.3% complained of "general exhaustion. " 2) Psychological symptoms were: 37.6% said that "it is boring to talk"and 26.3% said" they had a desire to be alone". 3) Nitrogenic symptoms were 49.7% complained of "asthenopia"and 37.0% complained of"vertigo and "staggering legs". 9. When asked about the most fatiguing time during work, the following information was reported: 25.2% felt the first hour in the morning was most fatiguing while 22.9% felt the sixth hour in the evening, and 22.8% eelt the fifth hour at night was. 10. 38.4% complained of sleepiness at 3 A.M. and 35.0% at 4 A.M. during night work. 11. 38.1% found Sunday the most fatiguing work day and 20.% found Monday. 12. The results of the effects of their work on certain diseases: 51.1% showed those with anemia as most effected by work. 13. In their Response to the question, "do you eat breakfast\ulcorner"57.0%, the largest portion, answered, " none at all ": 36.3%, enough. 14. Regarding the accident rate relating to the length of time employed at the company 28.5% was the highest accident rate from 5year to 6 year. As a result of this study, it could be concluded that the employer should consider the following points: 1. employ according to the worker′s vocational aptitude. 2. adjust the shifts. 3. offer rest time and off days, and establish recreational facilities. In the end we can contribute to the promotion of the workers of the workers and to the prevention of accidents due to industrial fatigue.

경호원들의 장시간 경계근무가 심박변이도와 자율신경에 미치는 영향 (Influences of Long Hour Guarding in Bodyguards on the Heart Rate Variation and Autonomic Nervous System)

  • 본 연구에서는 경호경비현장에서 이루어지고 있는 실제적인 경호경비원들의 장시간 경계근무 중 발생하는 하는 생체리듬의 변화를 알아보기 위해 K대학교 경호학과 학생 9명을 대상으로 실제 경계근무와 같은 형태로 180분간 경계근무를 실시하였다. 30분 간격으로 HRV(Heart rate variability)를 통하여 심박동 변이도와 자율신경검사를 실시 한 결과 심박동 변이도 HRT과 SDNN은 유의한 차이가 없어 180분간의 경계근무 시간 동안 안정적으로 유지 하였다. 자율신경계의 전체적인 활성정도를 반영하는 TP는 안정시 보다 90분과 120분에 유의(p<.05)한 차이로 높게 나타났다. 또한 120분 이후에는 유의한 감소하여, 120분 이상의 경계근무에서는 자율신경계의 활성도가 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. VLF, LF, HF 모두 유의한 차이는 아니지만 120분에 감소하는 경향을 보여 TP 변화에 영향을 주었다. 교감신경과 부교감신경의 균형도를 나타내는 LF/HF ratio는 경계근무 30분에 유의하게(p<.05)높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 경계근무 120분 이후에는 집중력이 감소하는 것으로 사료되며, 경계근무 시작 30분 까지는 근무시작으로 인한 긴장감과 흥분감이 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • It compared subcontractor with contractor that are wages, the labor hour and labor condition of the work environment back are inferior relative. The subcontractor which basically the contract workers evade the dangerous process or the difficult work, the dirty work back what is called 3D the case which does to keep a business is many. so With life it will be threatened consequent health directly. The possibility where the subcontractor will be exposed to danger work came to be high. Together the reason of subcontract at managing the big business the case which becomes accomplished in objective, about lower the immediacy safety&health problem, subcontractor assigned workers is the actual condition only it could not be deteriorated more in public finance of the supply and enterprise and technical ability insufficiency. Consequently it prevents the subcontract which danger work is insensitive from this research and immediacy of the subcontract workers who is weak hygiene circumstance complement the plan it will be able to secure the immediacy safety&health subcontract workers, substantially to prepare in the hazard subcontract proprietor.

  • Hull form designers have to design a ship with satisfying an economical, technical and environmental demand. When it is concerned by a technical and environmental demand, there will be a economical demand left to criticize optimization. In this case, there were used to be requirements which needs to meet only a best performance not concerning about input of Human resource. Life cycle's cost contains building cost and operation cost so that now we need to check Man Hour cost in building a ship. This research shows a correlation between hull form information, i.e. curvature, length, breadth and thickness of surface and Man Hour of the Shell plating manufacture with using Artificial Neural Network and Gentic Programming. This study will support to classify initial work, to have a high assumption possible through predicting a Man Hour and to provide a guide book to infer a building cost and a economical optimization hull form.

다탄성 Insole의 Workload 감소 효과에 관한 연구 (The Study on Workload Reducing Effects of Multi-Elastic Insoles)

  • The Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders (WMSDs) can be occurred by various factors such as repetition, forceful exertions and awkward postures. Especially, occurrences of the WMSDs on the waist and lower limb are reported in workplaces, demanded standing postures for a long time, in service and manufacturing industry. The static and standing postures without movement for a long time increase work loads to the lower limb and the waist. Accordingly, anti-fatigue mat or anti-fatigue insole is used as a preventing device of the WMSDs. However anti-fatigue mats are limited in space and movement. In this study, multi-elastic insoles are designed and shown the effects of the workload reduction for a long time under the standing work. The foot pressures and EMG (Electromyography) are measured at 0 hour and after 2 hours by 6 health students in their twenties. The 6 prototype insoles are designed with three elastic (Low, Medium and High). These insoles are compared with no insole (insole type 7) as control group. The EMG measurement was conducted to waist (erector spinae muscle), thigh (vastus lateralis muscle) and calf (gastrocnemius muscle). The foot pressure is analyzed by mean pressure value and the EMG analysis is investigated through MF (Median Frequency), MPF (Mean Power Frequency) and ZCR (Zero Crossing Rate). The results of the foot pressure show that the multi-elastic insoles had smaller foot pressure value than that of no-insole. Moreover, Insole 2 and Insole 3 have the smallest increasing rate in foot pressure. The EMG results show that the multi-elastic insoles had smaller EMG shift value than that of no-insole in 2 hour, and then shift value shows the smallest value in Insole 2. Therefore, this study presents that the multi-elastic insoles have reducing effects of the work load for a long time standing work in both side of foot pressure and EMG.

전장 정비환경을 고려한 전시 표준정비인시 산출방안 연구 (A Study on the Method of Computing Standard Wartime Maintenance Man-Hour Incorporating Wartime Maintenance Condition)

  • 군의 정비체계에서 표준정비인시는 정비부대의 정비능력을 판단하는 도구로서 정비 소요와 작업량을 결정하는 기준을 제공하고, 정비계획 수립의 기초 자료로 활용된다. 군 주요 장비의 평시 표준정비인시는 이미 선정되어 활용하고 있으나 전시 정비환경에서 표준정비인시는 미선정되어 이를 산출할 필요성이 제기되었다. 이는 전시에 정비 시설, 공구, 장비, 인력 등이 충분치 않고, 정비 목표와 수준이 평시와는 상이하므로 평시 표준정비인시를 직접 적용하는 것은 적절하지 못하기 때문이다. 따라서 본 연구는 전시 표준정비인시 산정을 위해 필요한 데이터를 수집·선별하는 과정과 기준을 제시하고, 표준정비인시 산출 프로세스에서 정비인시 분포의 특징을 분석하여 표준정비인시로서의 대푯값을 선정하는 방법을 제안한다. 제시되는 전시 정비인시 산출 프로세스는 먼저 전시 정비환경을 고려한 기준과 가정사항 등을 반영한 모델을 설계하고, 표준정비인시 도출의 통계적 기법을 결정하며, 전시와 유사한 환경의 평시 정비실적 데이터를 수집하여 기술통계 분석과 정비인시 분포를 추정 및 검증하고 최종적으로 대푯값을 제시하는 방법을 사용한다. 제안된 방법을 토대로 육군이 운용 중인 4개 주요 전투장비의 전시 표준정비인시를 도출하였으며, 해당 장비들의 정비인시 분포가 로그 정규분포를 따르고 있는 것으로 분석되어 신뢰성 있는 결과값을 제시하였다.
