노인여성의 측면체형 분석 (An Analysis of the Somatotype of Elderly Women)

  • through Sid View Silhouette The purpose of this study was to pro-vide basic information for elderly women's clothing construction and to develop dress forms that can reflect the charac-teristics of their bodies. The subjects were 251 elderly women aged from 60 to 81. Data were collected from 34 photographic measurements of each subject and analyzed by factor analysis cluster analysis analysis of variance. The results were as follows: 1. A decrease in height the bustline drops as age increase. From a lateral view point most of the subjects have straight posture with protruding ab-domens but the somatotype gradually bends bends forward with age. 2) Five factors were extracted from photometric measurement which explain 81.0% of variance. 3 Through cluster analysis using 5 fac-tor scores four types were categorized. Type I was turning over somatotype Type II was swayback somatotype Type III was straight somatotype Type IV was bending somatotype according to its po-sition to the relative plumb liner and their side view contour.

40~60대 남녀의 골프웨어 구매 및 선호실태조사 (A Survey on the Purchase and Preference of Golf Wear for Men and Women in Their 40s, 50, and 60s)

  • 본 연구는 40~60대를 위한 골프웨어 설계 및 연구개발을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 연 1회 이상 라운딩 활동과 골프 연습 활동을 꾸준히 하고 있는 의도표집된 대상자 64명을 대상으로 골프웨어 구매 및 선호도 조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 골프웨어는 상설할인매장에서 구매하고 TV 및 인터넷광고를 통하여 정보를 활용하며, 구매빈도는 연간 1~2회로 연간 구입비 50만원~100만원 미만, 1회 지출 비용 20만원~50만원 미만이 가장 많았다. 골프웨어 구매 시 디자인을 먼저 고려하고 여성은 흰색, 남성은 검은색·회색을 가장 선호하였다. 남성은 PK 칼라의 단추여밈 스타일, 여성은 라운드 네크라인의 니트 스타일을 선호하는 편이었고 상의여유량은 여성은 세미 피티드, 피티드, 남성은 세미 피티드, 루즈한 핏을 선호하여 유의차를 보였다. 골프웨어 제작 시 고려사항으로 젊어 보이는 디자인에 대한 응답결과가 연령이 낮을수록 비율은 높아져 연령에 맞는 디자인을 우선시하여 골프활동을 위한 기능성을 반영한 골프웨어 설계가 필요할 것으로 사료되었다.

  • This study examines the clothing purchasing behavior of elderly female consumers based on their perceived age. This study grouped elderly female consumers by their perceived age and examined what influence the clothing selection criteria or fashion information sources have on individual clothing purchase behavior. From January $10^{th}$ to February $25^{th}$ 2008, data research was conducted on 194 elderly women in their 60s and 70s from Seoul. The SPSS 14.0 software program was used to conduct data analyses such as descriptive statistics, frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, ANOVA, and the Duncan test as a post-hoc analysis. The results of this study are as follows: First, the elderly female consumers were divided into three groups, younger, average, and older according to their perceived age. Second, the factors derived from the factor analysis of their clothing selection criteria included personal relevance, practicability, conformity, and economic efficiency. In addition, three factors of advertising/media-provided, consumer-provided and store-provided information were extracted from the factor analysis of fashion information sources. Third, there were significant differences in personal relevance and conformity that depended on the perceived age of elderly female consumers for clothing selection criteria. Fourth, in the use of fashion information sources, significant differences were found in all aspects of advertising/media-provided, consumer-provided, and store-provided information sources that depended on their perceived age.

A Case Study on the Costume Culture of the Head Family for Adolescent's Spot Experience Learning

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the cases of the head family's costume culture and to apply them to field experience education of adolescent's home economics subject. To examine costume culture, women in the two head families in the Hampyeong area, Jeollanam-do were interviewed. The findings had unique shroud making and custom in the Mo's head family of Hampyeong. Also it was found that the eldest daughters-in-law of the Lee's of Hampyeong have horizontally exchanged the information of the head family's costume with village women of the same family. They have initiated their costume culture directly through their daughters and it had the great influence on after-ages. The Spot experience program for adolescent to experience the head family's costume culture and life culture consisted of four subjects:(l)Educating the head family's traditional living culture including etiquette training, (2)head family village walk, (3)experiencing the head family's clothes life including natural dyeing and sewing, and (4)a field trip of Hampyeong Local Life Culture Museum. For a model experience of the head family's costume and life culture, three families with middle and high schoolers participated in 8- hour experience learning program.

Development of Hydrogels to Improve the Safety of Yukhoe (Korean Beef Tartare) by Reducing Psychrotrophic Listeria monocytogenes Cell Counts on Raw Beef Surface

  • This study developed an antimicrobial hydrogel to control Listeria monocytogenes in Yukhoe (Korean beef tartare). Four hydrogels (hydrogel 1: 5% alginate+1% chitosan+0.2% $CaCl_2$, hydrogel 2: 1% ${\kappa}$-carrageenan+1% chitosan, hydrogel 3: 2% ${\kappa}$-carrageenan+1% $CaCl_2$, and hydrogel 4: 2% ${\kappa}$-carrageenan+3% $CaCl_2$) were prepared. The hydrogels then absorbed 0.1% grapefruit seed extract (GSE) and 0.1% citrus extract (CE) for 30, 60, 120, and 240 min to be antimicrobial hydrogels. To select the most effective antimicrobial hydrogel, their swelling ratio (SR) and antilisterial activities were determined. The selected hydrogel ($2{\times}2cm$) was then placed on surface of beef (round; $3{\times}3cm$), where L. monocytogenes (ca. $10^6CFU/g$) were inoculated, and the cell counts were enumerated on PALCAM agar. Among the hydrogels, the SR of hydrogel 1 increased with absorbing time, but other hydrogels showed no significant changes. Antimicrobial hydrogel 1 showed higher (p<0.05) antilisterial activity than other antimicrobial hydrogels, especially for the one absorbed the antimicrobial for 120 min. Thus, the antimicrobial hydrogel 1 absorbed antimicrobials for 120 min was applied on raw beef at $4^{\circ}C$, and reduced (p<0.05) more than 90% of L. monocytogenes on raw beef. These results indicate that antimicrobial hydrogel 1 formulated with 0.1% GSE or 0.1% CE is appropriate to improve the safety of Yukhoe by reducing psychrotrophic L. monocytogenes cell counts on raw beef.

인간의 양막유래 줄기세포의 체외 배양 시 소태아혈청 대체제로서의 인간제대혈청 (Human Cord Serum as a Fetal Bovine Serum Substitute for the Culture of Human Amnion-Derived Stem Cells)

  • 중간엽 줄기세포(MSC)를 체외배양할 때 사용하는 소태아혈청 (FBS)의 생물학적 불안전성은 이를 임상적으로 사용하는데 있어 제한점으로 작용한다. 본 연구에서는 소태아혈청 및 인간의 제대혈청을 사용하여 인간의 양막유래 중간엽 줄기세포 (HAM)를 각각 배양한 후, 세포의 성장속도와 유전자 및 단백질의 발현 양상을 비교하였다. 제왕절개 후 얻은 양막으로부터 HAM을 분리하여 10% FBS, 5% HCS 혹은 10% HCS가 각각 첨가된 DMEM 배양액에서 배양하였으며, 초기와 후기 계대의 세포를 얻어 이들의 생물학적 특성을 비교 분석하였다. 역전자 중합효소반응 결과, 혈청의 종류에 상관없이 배양된 세포들은 모두 OCT-4, Rex-1, SCF, FGF-5, BMP-4, nestin, NCAM, GATA-4, HLA-ABC 유전자를 발현하였으며, 이러한 발현은 초기 및 후기 계대의 세포에서도 마찬가지로 나타났다. 세포면역화학 반응 결과, FBS 혹은 HCS를 첨가한 배양액에서 배양된 HAM은 4번째 계대에서 collagen I, II, III, XII, fibronectin, $\alpha$-smooth muscle actin, vimentin, CK18, CD54, FSP, TRA-1-60, SSEA-3, -4, HLA ABC 단백질을 뚜렷하게 발현하였다. 그러나 desmin 단백질은 FBS가 첨가된 배양액에서 배양된 HAM에서만 발현되었고 vWF 단백질은 HCS가 첨가된 배양액에서 배양된 HAM에서만 발현되었다. 결론적으로 유전자와 단백질의 발현양상을 살펴본 결과, HCS가 첨가된 배양액에서 배양된 HAM은 전형적인 인간성체줄기세포의 특징을 나타내고 있으며, FBS가 첨가된 배양액과 비교하여 동등한 성장 촉진 효과를 가지는 것으로 보인다.

성인의 우울경향 및 스트레스와 식생활 태도와의 관계 (A Survey on the Relation between Depressive Trends, Stress and Attitudes of Food Intake in Adults)

  • A Survey was carried out to investigate relation between depressive trends, stress and attitudes of food intake in adults. In the assessing of Body Mass Index (BMI), the normal weight was 80.1%, overweight was 19.1%, obese was 0.7% in men, but normal weight was 90.3%, overweight was 9.4%, obese was 0.3% in women (p<0.001). It was represented increasing trends of obesity by the increasing of ages. Women thought their health condition was worse than men (p<0.001) 15.1% of all women tried to weight control. In changes of food intake by stress, 37.8% was increased to eat, 33.7% was reduced in women. It seems that women was significantly influenced by stress than men (p<0.01). In changes of food intake by stress in ages, 39.7% was increased of 20 years but over the 30 years was decreased or no changes of food intake (p<0.0001). All subjects wanted hot and sweet taste when stress-induced eating. 56.1% of men preferred to alcohol and beverages but 33.5% of women preferred to chocolate, cookies and breads of carbohydrate foods at the stressful conditions. But stress-induced eating dose not seems to be helpful for coping with stress in adults. In the distribution of depressive trends, the level of depression was higher in women (50.7%), whereas 34.3% in men (p<0.001). The most of 3li subjects represented attitudes of food intake below 60 scores that was needed improve and counseling of professional nutritionist. It was represented inferior to attitudes of food intake by the increasing of depressive trends and stress in women. It was higher level of overweight and obese in the below 60 scores of attitudes of food intake and higher depressive groups.

비이온 계면활성제, 유화안정제 종류에 따른 O/W 유화 제형의 유변학적 특성 변화 (Changes in Rheological Properties of O/W Emulsions according to the Type of Nonionic Surfactant and Emulsion Stabilizer)

  • 비이온 계면활성제와 유화안정제가 O/W 유화 제형에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위하여 비이온 계면활성제와 유화안정제 종류를 달리한 여러 제형을 만들어 이들의 유변학적 특성을 비교하였다. 친수성 비이온 계면활성제는 polysorbate 60 (Tween 60), PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil (HCO 60), octyldodeceth-16 (OD 16), ceteareth-6 olivate (Olivem 800) 등을 사용하였고, 유화안정제로는 cetyl alcohol, glyceryl monostearate, stearic acid 등을 각각 사용하였다. Octyldodeceth-16을 사용한 유화 제형에서만 상분리가 일어나고 나머지 제형은 모두 안정한 상을 유지하였다. 계면활성제 ceteareth-6 olivate와 유화안정제 cetyl alcohol을 혼합 사용한 제형의 점도, 경도, 크림성 등이 가장 높게 나타나고 유화된 입자 사이즈도 가장 큰 값으로 측정되었다. 이와 같은 결과는 유화 제형에 액정이 많이 생성되면서 네트워크 구조의 텍스처가 형성되었기 때문이다. 이 제형에서는 탄성적 특성이 크게 나타나고 힘이 가해지는 이력에 따라 점도 값이 달라지는 씩소트로픽 현상이 나타났다.

시트 마스크 사용에 따른 피부상태 변화 비교 연구 (Changes in Skin Condition by Frequency of Sheet Mask Use)

  • 본 연구에서는 60대 여성들을 대상으로 시트 마스크의 사용빈도에 따른 피부상태 변화를 비교 분석하고자 하였다. 2020년 5월 1일부터 2020년 6월 3일까지 5주간 실험을 진행하였으며, 연구의 목적을 이해하고 실험에 대한 서면동의를 받은 60대 여성 70명을 선정하였다. 본 연구의 실증분석은 모두 유의수준 5%에서 검증하였으며, 통계처리는 SPSS WIN 21.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 수분 증가와 거칠기 감소, 유분 증가 및 색소의 감소가 시트 마스크를 주 7회 적용한 그룹에서 효과가 있는 것으로 나타나 피부에 자극을 주지 않는 범위 내에서 시트 마스크의 사용빈도가 높을수록 피부상태에 긍정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 향후 피부 유형별 체계적인 측정과 개선을 시도하는 노력의 효과를 증대시키는데 기여할 것이며, 피부상태에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하기 위해 식습관이나 생활습관 영향, 유전적 영향, 생활환경 등을 살펴보고 요인별 비교가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

기혼여성의 라이프스타일 유형별 의복의 과시적소비 (Married Women's The Difference of Conspicuous Consumption of Clothing according to Lifestyle)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate general conspicuous consumption tendency of married women and to identify differences of the conspicuous consumption according to their lifestyle and socia-demographic variables. The data were collected via self-administered questionnaires from 423 married women (20 to 60 years old) in Daegu Metropolitan City. Data were analyzed by factor analysis, reliability analysis, frequencies and one-way ANOVA. Main results of this study are as follows: (a) Married women's tendency of the conspicuous consumption of clothing was generally low, (b) The more consumption-, achievement-orientated they were, the higher was the tendency to the conspicuous consumption of clothing. The more economy-, family- orientated they were, the lower was the tendency to the conspicuous consumption of clothing, (c) The younger they were, the more fashion-oriented they were and they showed the tendency of spending their money excessively to acquire clothing. The higher educational qualifications and household income were, the higher was the tendency of spending disposable income on clothing.
