We researched the modern meanings of traditional dining table courtesy education and its correlation with the main values of contemporary personality education based on dining table courtesy education stated in the social norms texts of the Joseon dynasty. Among the social norms of the Joseon dynasty, we chose Sohak, Naehun, Dongmongsuji, Seonghakjibyo, Gyeongmongyogyeol, Jeungbosallimgyeongje, Sasojeol, and Koamgahoon for research. As a result of our research on these documents and books, the modern meanings of the courtesy education at the dining table can be summarized as follow. First, the courtesy education has table manners appropriate for the development level of early children. Second, it teaches right-handed dining manners that match the features of Korean food culture. Third, it has the self-discipline and the values of community life, sharing, solicitude, and communication. Fourth, parents and grandparents are involved in the education. Fifth, it has the core values of modern personality education: manners, filial piety, respect, solicitude, communication, cooperation, and responsibility. Future courtesy education at the dining table should include practical education programs that can consolidate the bond of sympathy between the home, school, and society, and can improve its practice; in addition, to expand the opportunities for education, proactive social support is demanded.

본 연구의 목적은 임신 중절을 경험한 기혼 여성이 가족세우기를 통해 겪는 변화를 알아보는 데 있다. 결과적으로 그 변화는 임신 중절 경험에 대한 새로운 인식과 기혼 여성 본인과 가족 관계에서의 변화가 될 것이다. 본 연구 참여자들은 임신중절을 경험한 40~60 대 기혼 여성 9명이었으며, 자료 수집은 개별적인 심층면담을 통하여 가족세우기 경험 전, 직후, 한 달 후로 3회기 이루어졌다. 본 연구는 Colazzi의 현상학적 방법론을 바탕으로 이루어졌으며, 분석 결과 15개의 주제 모음과 3개의 범주가 도출되었다. 이 연구를 통해 임신중절을 경험한 기혼여성들은 해당 경험을 의식적으로 떠올리지 않았음에도 그 경험이 삶 전반에 걸쳐 부정적인 영향을 미치고 있다는 것을 결과로 도출할 수 있었다. 기혼 여성이 경험하는 가족세우기는 무의식에 감춰진 긴장관계가 대리인을 통해 가시화되면서, 얽힘을 풀 기회를 제공한다. 그리고 그러한 기회를 통해 기혼 여성은 궁극적으로 임신중절 경험에 대한 새로운 인식과 가족관계의 변화를 겪게 되며, 자신과 가족관계에서 회복력을 키울 뿐 아니라 정서적 안정감을 가지게 되는 경험을 하게 된다.

This study identified the types of motives for reading consumer reviews of apparel products for online stores and classified shoppers into the groups based on motives. Data were collected from eleven Korean women by a focus group interview and from 313 females by an online survey. Respondents were in their 20s' and 30s' with significant experience reading consumer reviews of apparel products for online stores. The seven motives found by interviews were reduced to four types of motives by factor analysis: Right product choice and judgment of product value, risk reduction, saving time and money, and fun/killing time. The motive for the right product choice and judgment of product value was the highest and the motive for fun/killing time was the lowest. Consumers were classified into four groups based on motives: Utilitarian shoppers (25.8%), shopping-task oriented shoppers (36.8%), multiple-motive shoppers (19.7%), and moderate-motive shoppers (17.7%). There were significant differences among age groups and the amount of reading reviews posted on a product and the duration of reading reviews for online stores. In addition, managerial implications were developed.

본 연구는 여러 가지 대전액션게임들에서 나타난 여성 캐릭터들의 지위를 분석한다. 2016년 7월 15일부터 17일까지 미국 Las Vegas에서 세계적으로 유명한 대전액션게임 대회 EVO 2016이 개최 되었다. EVO 2016에서 9개의 대전액션게임들이 경쟁을 위해 선택 되었는데, 본 연구는 게임들에서 나타나는 여성 캐릭터들의 지위를 1) 출현 빈도 2) 능력의 2가지 기준으로 탐구한다. 대전액션게임에서 여성 캐릭터들이 남성 캐릭터들에 비해 어떠한 차이를 지니고 있는지를 분석 한 뒤, 가상 세계에서 나타나는 여성 캐릭터들의 지위와 인권에 대해서 생각해 본다.

This study is to understand the symbolism and meaning of Yeomim in Korean traditional clothing. Throughout the study, literature research and analysis have been conducted along with empirical studies. The results of the study are as follows. First, there are three types of Yeomim for Korean clothing. Various methods of Yeomim use different materials for tying clothes such as straps and buttons. Second, when we investigate how Yeomim of Korean clothing has evolved, left and right type of Yeomim had coexisted in ancient times and Dae had been used mainly to tie clothes. The Yeomim method has used various materials since the Goryeo Dynasty. During the Joseon Dynasty, right type Yeomim dominated with majority using Goreum. Third, Hanbok has consistently evolved with a unique bonding style that uses rectangular strap for Yeomim, from the ancient times. The particular Yeomim method of twisting a rectangular strap represents the circularity of space. In addition, Yeomim with a strap is characterized by the beauty of how its form can be highly flexible depending on the human body or location of Yeomim, which corresponds to an unbalanced and asymmetrical natural beauty unique to Korea.

Breast angiosarcoma is a very rare manifestation. Herein, we report a case of breast angiosarcoma in a 21-year-old woman admitted to our hospital with a one-year history of a palpable mass with fullness and swelling of the right breast. The various imaging findings, including mammography, ultrasound (US), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), of this rare disease are described. The imaging findings of US and combined MRI of breast angiosarcoma were specific in this case. The imaging characteristics could be helpful in detecting and diagnosing breast angiosarcoma in young women with a palpable mass with fullness and swelling of the breast.

Purpose: This study was conducted in order to determine the physical effect on grip strength and balance ability of progressive resistance training using an elastic band for middle elderly women. Methods: We randomly recruited 13 middle elderly female subjects (from 75 years old to 84 years old). They practiced the elastic band exercise for 50 minutes once every week and were instructed to perform the same exercise as a home exercise for 16 weeks. Subjects who participated voluntarily had not participated in any other exercise program. Grip strength, one leg stance, and TIme Up & Go Test (TUG) were measured before and after elastic band exercise using the one group pre-posttest design. Wilcoxon's signed ranks test and simple regression analysis were performed using SPSS 18.0. Results: Significant differences in TUG and grip strength test scores were observed pre and post exercise (p<0.05), except one leg stance test. Significant correlation was observed only between age and change of right one leg stance. Conclusion: Progressive resistance training using an elastic band for middle elderly women was effective for dynamic balance and grip strength, but was not effective for static balance. Therefore, investigation of factors that affect improvement of static balance using an elastic band and the lasting duration of the effect and its association with age will be necessary in the future.

Wallenberg's syndrome is well known of dorsolateral medullary syndrome. A 56-year-old women was admitted because vertigo, vomitting, vertiginous ataxia, ipsilateral loss Rt. face and Lt. lower limb sense. The result of all performed laboratory tests were normal, but Sr-MRI scan was right lateral medullary infarction. And Br-MRA was focal stenosis of Lt. ICA. We present here one case of Wallenberg's syndrome, who was admitted at Kyungwon University Hospital From 25th Apr. to 21th May. 1998.

This study was conducted to inquire about the view on childrearing of university women for the purpose of building up the positive parent- child relationship and setting up preliminary parenting education program. The subjects were 137 university women who were freshmen to junior in one women's university in Seoul. Using the self-report questionnaire, data were collected from December in 1998 to March in 1999 and the contents which subjects wrote down were categorized by content analysis method. The results were as followed: 1. The age range of subjects were 20-22 years and main rearer was her mother(71.5%) 2. The view of subjects were revealed by 374 statements and then tied together 34 themes: 'exemplary parent model as a guider'(8.6%), 'determination for oneself' (8.0%), 'expression of love'(6.2%), 'humanity education'(4.8%), 'carrot and stick'(4.5%), 'respect of personality'(4.3%), 'sound living habit'(4.1%), 'conversation'(3.7%), 'regulation of greediness' (3.7%), 'supply of live experience'(3.7%), 'supply of broad and substantial vision'(3.5%), 'free choice'(3.5%), 'broad-mindedness'(3.5%), 'consideration'(3.0%), 'doing together'(3.0%), 'propriety education' (2.4%), 'pursuit of naturalness'(2.4%), 'looking for one's life'(2.4%), 'confidence'(2.1%), 'rearing by oneself'(2.1%), 'encouragement'(2.1%), 'cultivation of right sexual senses'(2.1%), 'desirable home environment'(1.9%), 'doing one's best'(1.9%), 'understanding'(1.6%), 'psychological intimacy'(1.6%), 'treat fair'(1.6%), 'pursuit of physical, psychological health' (1.6%), 'concerning'(1.3%), 'religious life'(1.3%), 'respect of individuality'(1.3%), 'cooperation' (1.1%), 'often-minded family'(0.8%), 'positive attitude'(0.8%). 34 themes were categorized by 12 categories once more: 'mature parenthood'(15.5%), 'acceptance' (11.5%), 'autonomy'(11.5%), 'pursuit of healthy life style'(9.4%), 'eagerness'(9.1%), 'making efforts'(8.8%), 'education'(8.8%), 'emotional bonding' (7.8%), 'respect'(7.2%), 'corporal punishment' (4.5%), 'supporting'(3.2%), 'composition of environment'(2.7%). In conclusion, we could expect that university women had a democratic view on childrearing with love and autonomy for a base. So we need to offer them nursing implementations such as preliminary parenting programs and parenting consulting in order to promote positive and interactional parent-child relationship by strengthening their desirable view on childrearing.

In order to establish a reliable and highly efficient method for genetic transformation of pepper, a monitoring system featuring GFP (green fluorescent protein) as a report marker was applied to Agrobacteriummediated transformation. A callus-induced transformation (CIT) system was used to transform the GFP gene. GFP expression was observed in all tissues of $T_0$, $T_1$ and $T_2$ peppers, constituting the first instance in which the whole pepper plant has exhibited GFP fluorescence. A total of 38 T0 peppers were obtained from 4,200 explants. The transformation rate ranged from 0.47 to 1.83% depending on the genotype, which was higher than that obtained by CIT without the GFP monitoring system. This technique could enhance selection power by monitoring GFP expression at the early stage of callus in vitro. The detection of GFP expression in the callus led to successful identification of the shoot that contained the transgene. Thus, this technique saved lots of time and money for conducting the genetic transformation process of pepper. In addition, a co-transformation technique was applied to the target transgene, CaCS (encoding capsaicinoid synthetase of Capsicum) along with GFP. Paprika varieties were transformed by the CaCS::GFP construct, and GFP expression in callus tissues of paprika was monitored to select the right transformant.
