Recently, due to the airtightness of buildings or the misuse of building materials, we have been witness SHS (Sick House Syndrome) which can have bad influences on the resident in an existing apartment house as well as newly constructed apartment house start to attract public attention. As a result of this situation, we went to restrict the TVOC (Total Volatile Organic Compound) and formaldehyde. But these guidelines concentrated on only TVOC although TVOC are consist of many individual VOC. Therefore, in this study, we will look about concentration change of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) by using Mock-up test. As result of test, the concentration of four individual VOC (Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, Styrene) showed quitely low level after 7 days. On the other hand the concentration of Xylene and formaldehyde showed low level after 14 days.

There has been preconceived assumption that, in good architecture, exterior and interior have to be harmoniously related to each other. However, in contemporary architecture, it is easy to witness that this harmonious relationship between exterior and intoner is severely challenged and various exterior surfaces have multi-faceted roles. Rem Koolhaas explained this sort of new situation in the light of 'lobotomy' that is a surgical method for mental disorders, based on the high-rise buildings in the early Manhattan. This study is started with the Rem Koolhaas' lobotomy concept and how this concept is applied to his projects. The multiple roles of exterior surface can be also found in many contemporary architects' projects. Among them, Jacques Herzog & Pierre do Neuron and Toyo Ito's recent projects are discussed to further analyze the new roles of surface and compared with Rem Koolhaas' case. Although the architects discussed present very limited scope of what is happening on the surface of comtemporary architecture, it is hoped to disclose some examples of new relationship between exterior and interior.

인터넷 사용의 증가와 함께 점점 확대되는 인트라넷 및 익스트라넷 환경에서 사용자 인증 과정은 필수적인 요소이다. 이런 환경에서의 인증 과정에 있어 현재 사용자 편의와 보안을 위한 단일 인증 시스템이 널리 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 단일 인증 시스템에서 사용되는 인증 기법을 사용자의 신원을 증명할 수 있는 매체(증거물:witness)에 따라 사용자가 아는 정보(something known by user), 사용자가 소유한 정보(something possessed) 그리고 사용자가 지니고 있는 정보(something embodied)로 분류하고 또한 인증 기법의 보안 강도에 따라 약한 인증(weak authentication) 기법과 강한 인증(strong authentication) 기법으로 나누어 분석한다. 인증 모델의 분석은 우선 단일 인증 시스템과 유사한 몇 개의 인증 모델을 먼저 분석하고 그 다음에 인증 시스템의 적용 환경, 인증 시스템의 인증 위치 그리고 인증 모델이 포함되는 시스템 계층에 따라 인증 모델을 분류한 후 각 인증 모델의 특징에 대하여 분석한다.

The purpose of this study is to present new design for religious habits which represen traditional Korean characters as well as prope charisms of religious congregations. The preliminary research was carried out through questionnaires. The result of this survey suggests the way how to improve the design of habits as follows: 1. The habit has to be simple according to the spirit of vowed poverty. 2. It is necessary to take into consideration the reality of Korean culture and the climate with four seasons 3. The habit is to be of help to give witness to evangelical life and safeguard the dignity of the religious state. 4. It has to be appropriate to the environment and circumstance of apostolic mission. 5. It has be funtional and conducive to apostolic activities and labors. 6. The design has to be such as will not alienate ordinary people. 7. It should express the charism of each religiou congregation as well as Korean identity. Consquently four types of inculturated habit design were newly developed and actual dresses or suit have been manufactured as a apart of this study.

In poultry, the selection against broodiness took up presumably naturally occurred mutations in the White Leghorn breed and led to an almost complete loss of the avian form of parental behaviour (incubation of eggs). Early studies on the genetics of broodiness demonstrated that the trait is polygenic with a major sex-linked effect. The reassessment of the studies on putative genes located on the Z chromosome, which are implicated in the control of broodiness, has resulted in the denial of this hypothesis. The recent experiments bear witness that incubation behaviour in chickens is not controlled by a major gene (or genes) on Z chromosome and there must, therefore, be major autosomal genes contributing to the expression of the behaviour. If a broody gene does exist on the Z chromosome it is one of at least three genes including two dominant autosomal genes, one causing and other one inhibiting incubation behaviour, with probably equal influence.

피해자 또는 목격자, 참고인 등 범죄관계인의 범죄신고, 증언, 진술 등에 대한 앙갚음을 목적으로 범죄를 저지른 경우를 보복범죄라고 정의할 수 있다. 우리나라의 경우 보복범죄로 인한 피해가 매년 증가하고 있으며 그 증가폭은 매우 높다. 그럼에도 불구하고 보복범죄에 대한 대응은 미진한 실정이라고 생각된다. 본 연구는 보복범죄에 대한 관련 법규정을 살펴보고 이에 대한 대응방안을 모색하고자 한다.

During the course of its efforts to host the 2012 EXPO in Yeosu, Korea, the Korean government promised to the members of the International Exhibition Bureau (BIE) to adopt the so-called Yeosu Declaration. Considering the year 2012 will likely witness the adoption of another global scale environmental declaration as such as the Stockholm, Rio and Johannesburg Declarations, Yeosu Declaration may contribute not only to emphasizing the theme of the 2012 Yeosu EXPO, The Living Ocean and Coast: Diversity of Resources and Sustainable Activities, but also to sharing its efforts to protect the environment with the international society. As there has been no precedence of adopting any declaration in the history of EXPO, a careful preparation for the adoption of Yeosu Declaration is necessary as suggested in this article.

In the past few years, the printing industry has witness a trend that has become ever more defined: due to the advent of digital technology, the production of short print runs has continued to gain in importance. An important initiative for the support of digital work flow in the manufacturing of printed products is CIP4 consortium. CIP4 stands for "International Cooperation for Integration of Prepress, Press and Post-press, it is an association of around forty international companies, mostly manufacturers of prepress, press and post-press, as well as suppliers and users. In this paper, we studied on the acting application of CIP4 work flow.

A cutting fluid can improve machining quality and tool life by maintaining the tool toughness and by providing a lubrication effect to reduce the friction between the chip and tool interface. Although liquid nitrogen as an environmentally safe coolant has been widely recognized in cryogenic machining, its function as a lubricant is plausible due to its chemical inertness, physical volatility and low viscosity. Since a reduced friction is a direct witness of the lubrication effect from a tribological viewpoint, this paper presents an evaluation of the apparent friction coefficient on the tool-chip interface in cryogenic cutting operations to prove and characterize the lubricity of LN2 in cryogenic machining. The mathematical approaches have been formulated to derive the normal and frictional forces on the tool-chip interface for the oblique cutting tests.
