BACnet/ZigBee 프로토콜 기반의 조명제어시스템 (BACnet/ZigBee-based Lighting Control System)

  • BACnet(Building Automation and Control networks) is a standard data communication protocol designed specifically for building automation and control systems. BACnet provides five options for datalink layer protocols and these five datalink layer options can be applied with various transmission media. Recently wireless technology prevails in automation area. ZigBee is a standard protocol based on IEEE 802.15.4 for low-speed wireless communication network. In this study, we propose a BACnet/ZigBee model that uses ZigBee wireless technology in a BACnet communication network system as a wireless datalink layer protocol. We also applied this model to a lighting control system to evaluate the feasibility of proposed technology. The technology proposed in this paper can extend the application of BACnet not only for building automation but also for home automation by taking the advantages of ZigBee wireless communication technology in BACnet communication network systems.

  • 무선통신기술의 급격한 발달로 인해 상용기술을 접목한 군의 통신 기반체계 또한 무선체계 위주로 변하고 있다. 하지만 군의 통신은 비밀스러운 내용이 많을뿐더러 특히 물리적으로 보안시스템이 불완전한 무선 환경에서는 적의 위협이 더욱더 증가될 것으로 예상된다. 최근 차세대 전술네트워크 통신 시스템이 All IP 기반의 무선체계로 전력화될 예정이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 무선 환경에서 예상되는 위협요소를 살펴보고 이에 대한 적절한 터널링 기법에 대해 연구해 본다.

A Study on Application Boundary of Wireless LAN's Communication for Space Variation

  • The objective of this thesis is to measure the limit of the real space where wireless Local Area Network (LAN) is used, and to apply this result as reference to set up a real Wireless LAN environment. The organized circumference was composed of Wireless LAN based on IEEE 802.11b of the American standard, and the examination is carried out on the campus. On the real condition of office environment and open space, the ratio of available distance to a signal at each distance was measured and this result was studied as data to embody wireless LAN on the campus. The measurement under an indoor environment was executed under circumstance having two walls and open space, however, was executed respectively under three circumstances: Where no obstacle, where one wall exists, and where two or more walls exist.

  • 본 논문은 간섭원으로써 4.5 GHz를 사용하는 UWB 센서가 동대역을 사용하는 피간섭원 광대역 무선 시스템에 미치는 간섭을 분석하였다. 분석방법으로는 Minimum Coupling Loss(MCL)와 Spectrum Engineering Analysis Monte Carlo Advanced Tool(SEAMCAT)을 사용하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 양립성 확보를 위해서 UWB 센서와 광대역 무선 시스템의 이동국 사이에는 1.2 m 이상의 보호 이격거리가 요구되었고 다수의 UWB 센서가 존재하는 경우에는 간섭 확률 5 % 이하를 만족하기 위해 UWB 수신기 PSD는 -68.5 dBm/MHz 이하로 요구되었다.

  • 일반적으로 하나의 모바일 디바이스에 직비, 블루투스, 와이파이, 3G 와 같은 무선통신 인터페이스가 여러 개 구비되어 있지만 서비스를 이용할 때는 고정적으로 하나의 통신 인터페이스만 이용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 통신 인터페이스를 효율적으로 사용하기 위하여 무선통신 인터페이스들 간의 능동적인 전환 기법을 제안한다. 이 기법은 통신 서비스에 따라 각 무선통신 인터페이스의 특징을 살려서 적합한 무선통신 인터페이스를 선택하고 전환하는 기법으로서, 전력 소비를 줄일 수 있고 인터페이스의 효율성을 높이는 효과가 있다.

  • Recently, nuclear power plants have been testing for application of wireless communication system to improve communication easier. Improving the availability of communication in NPPs, plant operation ability and good communication have contributed to the lower reactior trip frequency. In these regards, the possibilities of improvement in communication systems are reviewed detail. Especially, we reviewed the wire communication system, facility effect, regulation and new technologies. In this paper, we described the application of wireless in NPPs by studying EMI/RFI, EMC effect.

  • Various M2M applications have different quality-of-service(QoS) requirements to be implemented practically. QoS requirements are normally data rate and delay constraint. However, there are limited number of wireless communication chip solutions which cannot support QoS requirements for all M2M application. Hence, aggregated usage of plural wireless communication chip solutions should be needed to implement M2M applications. In this paper, we consider the case that two wireless communication chips using random access protocol work together to transmit data of an M2M application. In such case, data rate and delay performance are mathematically analyzed. In our results, practical data rate can be improved from 2.5 to 7 times while delay constraints are satisfied if we simply use two wireless communication chips together.

  • Currently, wireless communication environment in high-rise buildings are limited in the basement and ground floor facilities are not in common use do not part, in case of disaster is difficult for efficient repression. In this paper, wireless communication facilities on the ground floor of the skyscraper by building infrastructure, wireless communications is proposed to eliminate shadows. That the presence of various wireless communication systems, wireless communication system proposed by this paper, TPS laying coaxial cable seals leak, and the propagation shades in place by installing indoor antenna is the solution to eliminate shadows. The wireless communications solutions reveal the advantages and features, a method of constructing the proposed design.

  • This paper introduces the testbed configuration for telematics wireless communications using WiBro network, one of the next generation wireless communication networks. We review the architecture and core technology of WiBro network, and investigate WiBro based telematics services, WiBro testbed configuration, and function verification and test method for WiBro wireless communication access module.
