The objectives of this study were to identify recognition, intention and practice to premarital examination of women and to define the predictors of intention and compliance to examination. The subjects for this study were 257 women at a university, college, a bank worker and health clinic visitor in Busan city. The date for this study was collected from August 25th to September 24th 2006 by structured questionaries, and were analyzed mean, standard deviations(SD), $x^2$-test, t-test and multiple Logistic regression using SPSS/WIN 12.0. The mean performance of the premarital examination was 28.4%. Thirty-five point five percent of unmarried women and 71.6 percent of married women had experience of heard premarital examination. The score of attitude toward premarital examination were that single women was 23.04 and married women was 22.55, respectively. The scores of behavioral control cognition between unmarried women and married women were statistically significant different. The predictor of premarital examination intention was necessity of premarital examination, and the predictors of examination compliance were experience of hearing examination and behavioral control cognition. Based on the results of this study, promoting recognition and behavioral control cognition by community healthcare organization and health professionals for empowering the premarital examination of women were needed.

This study was performed to investigate the factors which impact on the health-related quality of life of young-old(65-69 yr), old-old(70-79 yr), and oldest-old(80 yr or above) women in vulnerable elderly received home care service from public health centers in B city. The data were collected from 383 elderly women using structured questionnaires from September to November, 2010. Multiple regression with the SPSS WIN 18.0 program were used to analyze the data. There were statistically significant differences among young-old, old-old, and oldest-old women regarding the health-related quality of life, life satisfaction, cognitive function, frail condition. The models including life satisfaction, frail condition, cognitive function, perceived health status, number of chronic diseases were explained variance of the health-related quality of life elderly women differently like 42.8% of young-old, 28.9% of old-old, and 31.5% of oldest-old. Finally, frail condition and life satisfaction were predictors in explaining the level of health-related quality of life among vulnerable old women regardless of age. Based on the findings of the study, health promotion programs should be developed to improve health-related quality of life of vulnerable aged women according to age differences.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship of the critical thinking disposition of paramedic students to their satisfaction with hospital clinical practice and intention of recommendation. As for data analysis, the statistical packages SPSS WIN 20.0 and AMOS 20.0 were employed, and frequency analysis, factor analysis, multiple regression analysis and structural equation modeling were utilized. Besides, Cronbach alpha coefficients were calculated to check item internal consistency. The level of significance was all set at .05. A survey was conducted to collect data from May 12 to August 25, 2012, and the answer sheets from 305 respondents were gathered and analyzed. The critical thinking disposition of the paramedic students was found to have a significant impact on their satisfaction with clinical practice, and the hypothesis about that was accepted. Their critical thinking disposition was found to exert a significant influence on their intention of recommendation as well, and the hypothesis about that was accepted. Finally, their satisfaction with clinical practice was found to affect their intention of recommendation in a significant way, and the hypothesis about that was accepted. The findings of the study suggested that in order to nurture professional and competent paramedics, the content of clinical practice should systematically be managed on a regular basis, and prolonged research efforts should be directed into program development.

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of the self- regulation of paramedics on their job satisfaction and turnover intention. The subjects in this study were 300 paramedics who worked at general and larger hospitals. A survey was conducted for about four months from May 6 to August 30, 2012. As for data analysis, the statistical package SPSS WIN 18.0 was employed to make a frequency analysis, and the reliability of the instrument used was checked. A factor analysis was made, and a correlation analysis was carried out to look for connections between the variables, and a multiple regression analysis was utilized. Concerning the general characteristics of the respondents, many of the respondents were female, in their 20s, unmarried and received junior-college or higher education. Self-regulation had a very close correlation to job satisfaction and turnover intention, and self-regulation affected the subfactors of job satisfaction. Self-regulation exerted an influence on job satisfaction and turnover intention. The findings of the study are expected to suggest how to boost the job satisfaction of paramedics to step up the development of the organization that they belong to.

The purpose of this study was to find the effect of servant leadership of sports administrator on job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior to provide effectiveness management. To accomplish this research objective, as the subjects 333 employees were selected who working at 3 branches of Korea Sports Promotion Organization and Korea Olympic Committee. As for data processing, this research made a frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation model analysis were utilized. The results using structural equation model indicated that servant leadership had directly positive effect on job satisfaction. and servant leadership had directly positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior. In addition, job satisfaction had directly positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior. The implications of the study suggest that sports organization administrator should strengthen servant leadership to build up effectiveness management.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between suicidal attitude and suicidal ideation of college students and also to provide the fundamental data in order to strengthen both the standard and the recommendation of media coverage in Korea. A total of 249 college students over the age of 18 years in B city and G do were enrolled for this study. The data were collected between June 9 and July 7 of 2014 and analyzed by using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression with SPSS 21.0. The mean score of a message of suicidal motivation reports 2 was $51.06{\pm}10.55$, which was the highest. The score of suicidal ideation was $10.41{\pm}12.88$. There were sign&ificant differences in suicidal thought with respect to school system, family income, pocket money, time of physical activity, smoking, and smart-phone usage in university students. It was shown that suicidal thoughts were significantly correlated with message of simple suicidal reports 1(r=.303, p<.001), message of suicidal motivation reports 2(r=.251, p<.001), and message of suicidal mourning man reports 3(r=.225, p<.001). As the suicidal attitude have a close association with reports of suicide, it is necessary that studies on a variety of factors influencing suicidal thoughts of students be repeated.

The aim of this study was to investigate the factors influencing nurses' pain management in patients with dementia. A total of 197 nurses were recruited from 30 long-term care hospitals in B city. Data were collected from June 25 to July 15, 2016. Data analysis was performed using the SPSS 22.0 program, which included a t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression analyses. The levels of knowledge were low with a score of 10.73 out of 18. The level of attitudes, self-efficacy, barriers and performance were 2.98, 3.34, 2.90, and 4.09, respectively. In addition, there were significant differences in the level of performance depending on the age (p=.046), long-term care (p=.009), and pain education (p=.004). The level of attitudes (r=.21, p=.006), self-efficacy (r=.51, p<.001) and performance were positively correlated with each other. A significant negative correlation was observed between the barriers and performance (r=-.16, p=.035). The meaningful variables that influence the performance were self-efficacy, long-term care, and pain education. These factors were responsible for 30.1%. Therefore, effective programs will be necessary to enhance pain management by improving the self-efficacy and knowledge of pain in dementia patients.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the level of job stress and organizational commitment, as well as to identify the factors that influence patient safety management activities among the operating room nurses. Participants were 136 nurses working at 1 university hospital and 9 general hospitals located in G metropolitan city. The data were collected between July 25 and August 7, 2014 using structured questionnaires. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 21.0. The level of job stress, organizational commitment, and patient safety management activities was 3.76, 3.09, and 4.15, respectively, out of a 5-point scale. Patient safety management activities were significantly correlated with organizational commitment. The significant factors that influence patient safety management activities were organizational commitment and number of patient safety education, which explained 23% of patient safety management activities. In conclusion, organizational commitment and patient safety education have a positive effect on the improvement of patient safety management activities of operating room nurses. It is necessary to develop various intervention programs for operating room nurses to improve organizational commitment and should be reinforced via continuous, systematic patient safety education on patient safety management.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of social support and self-efficacy on the relationship between the nursing work environment and reality shock among new graduate nurses. The participants were 260 nurses who had worked for less than 1 year at 3 general hospitals and 2 university hospitals, and who were examined from 15 June to 31 August 2015. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, simple regression analysis and moderated regression analysis with the SPSS WIN 21.0 program. In the results, the mean scores of the nursing work environment, reality shock, social support and self-efficacy were $3.06{\pm}.313$, $2.73{\pm}.401$, $3.90{\pm}.623$ and $3.73{\pm}.519$, respectively. Social support (F=16.744, p<.001) and self-efficacy (F=40.616, p<.001) had a direct influence on reality shock. Social support (F=7.743, p<.001) and self-efficacy (F=14.676, p<.001) also had a moderating effect on the relationship between nursing work environment and reality shock. Thus, we need to develop a preceptor education standardization and customized mentor program to enhance social support and self-efficacy, which can reduce new graduate nurses' reality shock in the nursing work environment.

The aim of study was to identify the reliability and validity of an evaluation tool developed on the basis of performance outcome in Women's Health Nursing simulation practicum. A total of 110 undergraduate nursing students were recruited from one college. Data collection of this study was conducted between August and December of 2014. The data were analyzed using factor analysis, multitrait/multi-item matrix analysis, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and Cronbach's alpha with SPSS win 20.0 program. An exploratory factor analysis demonstrated that the four-factor structures of 10 items explained 68.2% of the total variance. It was significantly correlated with the Critical Thinking Disposition scale(r=.42, p <.001). The Cronbach's alpha was 0.89,ranging from 0.61 to 0.92. The results of this study support the reliability and validity of this evaluation tool. It could be a useful tool in evaluating the performance outcome in simulation practicum for nursing students.
