  • We present a new collaboration model between industry and university through the case study of LG Electronics and Handong Global University. The aim of this education-oriented model is providing highly competitive engineers to the fields instead of accomplishing research projects or developing a new high-end technology. The proposed cooperation model is a win-win strategy for both academia and industry to have not only short-term but also long term benefits. We discuss how to develope and manage the demand-driven course which is the core program of our model. And we also evaluate the pros and cons of this collaboration model.

  • This study aimed to examine structural relationship among role stresses (i.e., role conflict, role ambiguity), burnout, depression, and turnover intention among non-commissioned officers. A total 299 non-commissioned officers were participated in this study. Correlation analysis through SPSS WIN 18.0 and SEM through Amos 20.0 were conducted. The results showed that role stresses were significantly positive correlated with burnout, depression, and turnover intention. In addition, it was found that burnout mediated partially between role conflict and turnover intention. It was also revealed that burnout mediated fully between role ambiguity and depression and between role ambiguity and turnover intention as well as between role conflict and depression. From above the results, the implications of this study was discussed in terms of the necessity for building strategy to decrease turnover intention and depression of non-commissioned officers. Finally, limitations and suggestions for further researches were discussed.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors affecting job satisfaction of nurses in nursing care service ward. The subjects were 127 nurses, nursing job satisfaction, nursing intuition, and nursing work environment using the 5 - point Likert scale. Data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, correlation and regression analysis using SPSS WIN 23.0 program. The results showed that the correlation between job satisfaction and independent variables in nursing and nursing care service ward was significant in nursing professionalism (r = .90, p <.001) and nursing work environment (r = .75, p <.001). In addition, factors affecting job satisfaction were in the order of nursing professionalism and nursing work environment (F = 31.516, p <.001), and explanatory power was 84.1%. Therefore, Therefore, the necessity of nursing convergency strategy for improvement of these is suggested.

  • The purpose of this study was to determine factors affecting the suicidal ideation in spouse caregivers of the elderly with dementia Living in the Community. The data were collected from 160 spouses of elderly people with dementia who use dementia support centers and long-term care service in seoul. Data were collected with structured questionnaires to investigate the general characteristics and suicidal ideation-related factors, and analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, Multiple regression analysis with SPSS win version 24.0 program. The significant factors affecting suicidal ideation were entrapment(${\beta}=.452$), SDAP(${\beta}=.273$), coping strategies(${\beta}=-.199$), it were explained 55.7%(F=19.199, p<.001). Therefore, counseling and education should be provided to help reduce the entrapment and enhance coping strategy with the dementia condition of the elderly with dementia. • With the pervasiveness of digital environment and expansion of new media, ICT (Information and Communication Technology) leads the role of consumer to change from a passive customer into an active co-producer. As customer participation in the fashion industry increases, this study attempts to explore the cases of customer participation as a co-producer in fashion industry through analyzing business models of companies, including Threadless, Blank label, Cut on Your Bias, Acustom Apparel, Thinkgivers. The results show that customer participation is mainly facilitated through design participation in fashion industry, with different level of participation and IT as well as different contribution target. Compared to the past, consumer’s preference is reflected through participation before the stage of production. Results indicate three main characteristics of customer participation in fashion industry. First, value co-creations using customer experiences and understanding customer needs are important. Second, active online communication among customers are critical. Third, it is important to ensure customer’s own item. From a customer perspective, participation enables them to purchase their own distinctive product and offers exciting experience and satisfaction over the production processes, and compensation can be used to increase customer participation. On the other hand, companies using customer participation can take advantage of cost reduction in product development, inventory, and marketing. Customer participation, as a win-win strategy for business and consumer, is expected to expand further in the future with the development of ICT.

  • Currently co-work programs between industries and engineering schools play an important role for mutual interests, win-win strategy. Industries can develop new technologies through the human resources and facilities in school and schools are able to have research achievements by applying their own theoretical abilities to real field of industries's projects. However most co-work programs between industries and engineering schools mainly focus on programs such as research projects with graduate research lab, on-site training for job and training program for field engineers. And more it is difficult for schools to make co-work programs targeted engineering education for undergraduate school students because of many constraints such as planing program, budget and indifference of companies. Therefore this paper introduces LG Electronics Display Idea Competition hosted by LG Display Division in Kumi, S. Korea and present what benefits to both school and company made through this program and unique model of co-work program for engineering education between school and company in country.

  • The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the working conditions, post-traumatic stress syndrome and the self-resilience of nurses, and find out the relationship between the post-traumatic stress syndrome and the self-resilience. Data were collected by questionnaire method among 220 General Hospital nurses at Gyeongnam G and J city. Data were analyzed by using SPSS 21.0 program WIN. The results of working conditions of the nurses majority were shift work 70.5%, currently working in the ward 54.6%. Scores were shown as Post-traumatic stress syndrome (28.20) and self resilience (39.98). There is a negative correlation (r =.226, p=.001) between the post-traumatic stress syndrome and the self-resilience. Based on the result, since working conditions of nurses caused psychological stress and nurses with high self-resilience eased the degree of post-traumatic stress, in terms of the personnel management of hospitals, a psychological intervention strategy should be considered.

  • This research aimed to verify whether family competency reinforcement had a mediating role on the effect of family cohesion of the Down syndrome family upon the independent life of children with Down syndrome. For the research, 146 families belonged to Down Syndrome Parent Assembly were surveyed and the statistical program SPSS WIN 25.0 was utilized for the data analysis. To verify the mediating effect, Baron and Kenny's causal step strategy was performed. As a result of the study, the higher the family cohesion of the Down syndrome family was, the greater the level of independence of the child was, indicating that the family cohesion had a significant static effect on the independence life. In addition, it was confirmed that the family competency reinforcement played a mediating role between the family cohesion and the children's independent living. Therefore, the results of this research suggested that it might be used as a policy approach and supporting plan for the realization of support for independence of Down syndrome children.

  • The mutual risk management in port is really important for operating the enterprise between container terminals who provide port service and shipping liners who use the port service. This study is performed to contribute to obtain the competitive power of domestic shipping and harbor industry by getting solution of mutual risk management which can make Win-Win strategy on each other as an alternative idea. We suggested two kinds of management models to promote common benefits between container terminals and shipping liners. It is necessary to push positive support and cooperation from government and belonging related organizations for activating the Gwangyang port. In this study, we presented the efficient method to manage mutual risks between container terminals and shipping liners.
