쇼크타입 수직방향 전신진동에 대한 생체동역학적 반응의 비선형성 (Nonlinearity of Biodynamic Response to Shock-Type Vertical Whole-Body Vibration)

  • Impulsive excitation on vehicle produces shock-type vibration on the seat, which has major frequencies and damping ratios dependent on the characteristics of the suspension, the tire, the seat cushion and so on. The response of single degree of freedom model to a half-sine force input was considered as simple shock-type vibration signal. Quasi-apparent-mass for fifteen subjects was measured with the shock-type vibration generated on a rigid seat mounted on the simulator, so its nonlinearity was apparently found over 6.3 Hz according to the difference of magnitude of the shock.

  • This paper addresses the issues and difficulties encountered in developing a 12-axis measurement system for the assessment of whole-body vibration exposed from the body contact area. The contents of related survey work and the ideas from Professor Griffin in ISVR, that have led to its successful development, are introduced here. The developed 12-axis measurement system is shown to satisfy the international standards of ISO 2631 and BS 6841 in EC. This system is expected to play a key role in assessing the ride quality of passenger cars that is rapidly becomes much interest in Korean car-makers and tyre-makers.

  • Vibrations exposured to human whole-body are transmitted through the contact area of a human body, such as feet, hip and back directly in contact with vibrating surface. they apparently leads to the decrease of human comfort, the reduction of working efficiency or normal activities, and, furthermore, causes the loss of health and safety. In this study, UH-1 vibration has been measured to produce the flight-time limitation at each mission Results of this study show that the most significant peaks appear at a main rotor blade-passage frequency and that the vibration level in ground is higher than that in airborne In addition, it is shown that the most affective aspect for the flight-time limitation is ground vibration level

30Hz 전신 진동운동이 척추세움근의 두께와 기계적 속성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of 30Hz Whole Body Vibration Exercise on the Thickness and Mechanical Properties of the Erector Spinae)

  • 본 연구는 30Hz 전신 진동운동 적용이 척추세움근의 형태인 두께 변화와 근육의 특성 변화인 기계적 속성에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 데 그 목적이 있다. N 지역에 거주하는 성인 남성 11명, 여성 13명 총 24명으로 모집단을 구성하였고 30Hz 전신 진동 운동군 12명, 허리 안정화 운동군 12명으로 나누어 시기별, 군간 상호작용, 군간 변화를 확인하기 위해 운동 전, 4주 후, 8주 후로 시기를 나누어 척추세움근의 두께와 근육 기계적 속성의 변화를 2요인 반복측정 분산분석(two-way repeated ANOVA)을 이용하였고 유의수준 α=0.05로 하였다. 시기와 군간 상호작용이 있는 경우에는 사후분석을 하였으며 유의수준 α=0.01로 하였다. 척추세움근의 두께, 주파수, 강성, 변형률은 시기별, 시기와 군간 상호작용에서 유의한 차이가 있었고(P<0.05), 원형회복속도는 시기별에서만 유의한 차이가 있었다(P<0.05). 본 연구 결과를 보면 30Hz 전신 진동운동은 척추세움근의 두께와 기계적 속성에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수가 있어 향후 전신 진동운동 기초자료와 임상에서 허리 안정화 운동으로 활용 가능성을 제시한다.

전신진동운동이 뇌졸중 환자의 균형 및 보행 능력에 미치는 효과: 메타분석 (The Effects of Whole Body Vibration Exercise on Balance and Gait Ability in Stroke Patients: A meta-analysis)

  • 본 연구는 뇌졸중 환자에게 전신진동운동을 시행한 선행 연구들을 종합하고 분석하여 전신진동운동이 뇌졸중 환자의 균형 및 보행 능력에 얼마나 효과적인지를 메타분석을 통해 알아보고자 하였다. 문헌 검색을 위한 전자 데이터베이스는 국회도서관, 한국교육학술정보(RISS), 한국학술정보(KISS) 및 누리미디어(DBPIA)를 사용하였다. 2010년 1월 - 2020년 8월까지 뇌졸중 환자에게 적용한 전신진동운동 선행연구를 조사하였다. 연구의 질 평가는 RCT(Randomized Controls Trials) 연구는 Cochrane group이 개발한 Risk of bias 2(RoB2) 도구를 사용하였다. 개별 연구들의 효과크기를 산출하기 위해 R version 4.0.3 프로그램을 이용하였다. 연구 결과는 전체 효과크기는 0.40으로 나타났으며 전신진동운동이 뇌졸중 환자의 균형 및 보행에 중간 정도의 효과가 있다는 것을 확인하였고, 균형의 효과크기는 0.44, 보행의 효과크기는 0.36으로 나타나 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다. 이와 같은 결과를 통해 뇌졸중 환자에게 전신진동운동이 효과적인 중재임을 알 수 있었으며, 더욱 다양한 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각한다.

전신 진동자극 훈련이 경직형 뇌성마비 아동의 하지 근 두께와 대동작 운동기능에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Whole Body Vibration Training on Lower Limb Muscle Thickness and Gross Motor Function in Children with Spastic Cerebral Palsy)

  • PURPOSE: This study aimed to quantify the effects of whole body vibration (WBV) stimulation training on the muscle thickness and gross motor function in children with spastic cerebral palsy. METHODS: Twenty children diagnosed with spastic cerebral palsy were assigned randomly to the Whole Body Vibration (WBV) group (n=10) and control group (n=10). The WBV group received vibration therapy including five different therapy, and the control group received only five general physiotherapy sessions. After 10 weeks of intervention, the muscle thickness was measured using ultrasound, and the Gross Motor Function D and E items were evaluated. RESULTS: After the intervention, both groups showed a significant increase in muscle thickness and gross motor function (p<.05). The WBV group showed a significant increase in the quadriceps femoris and tibialis anterior muscles compared to the control group, whereas no significant increase in the gastrocnemius muscle was observed (p<.05). The WBV group showed significant improvement in the Gross Motor Function D and E scores compared to the control group (p<.05). CONCLUSION: WBV training may be a useful way of improving the lower extremity muscle strength in children with spastic cerebral palsy, which may help improve the gross motor function.

굴삭기 운전자의 전신진동 및 작업소음 평가 (Evaluation of Whole-Body Vibration and Occupational Noise for Excavator Drivers)

  • This study was performed to evaluate the whole-body vibration and occupational noise for excavator drivers. Measurement, evaluation and assessment were based on the ISO 2631 and OSHA. Average vibration level was 0.65m/$s^2$(z axis) for breaking work and 0.36 m/$s^2$(z axis) for excavating work. Vibration levels during breaking work exceed the health guidance caution zone and this means that the drivers are exposed to potential health risks. Average daily noise exposure level was 86.4 dB(A) for breaking work and 84.6 dB(A) for excavating work.

  • This paper introduces experimental results of whole-body vibration exposed through the contact area between automotive seat and human body. Such vibration experiment was carried out for five automotive seats in use and four Korean individuals. Interestingly, the quantitative assessment of the ride values of the tested seats do not only enable us to judge the footnotes the Korean technology in automotive seat has left so far, but also lead to the systematic way of improving their ride quality, in addition in Korean automotive seats raised in this paper.

8주간 데드리프트 운동 시 전신진동운동이 재활스포츠 선수의 근 기능 특성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect in the Muscle Function Following 8-Week Dead-lift training with Whole-body Vibration in Rehabilitation for Sports Players)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects in the muscle function following 8-week dead-lift training with Whole-body Vibration(WBV) in rehabilitation for sports players. Method : Twenty young sports players. Each subjects were randomly assigned to a resistance training with Whole-body vibration group(TG, n=10), a resistance training without Whole-body vibration group(CG, N=10). The measurements which physical fitness test and joint torque test were performed before the randomization and after the 4-week and 8-week. The WBV group performed the dynamic Dead-lift exercise on a vibration platform during one minute. The CG group performed the equal training without vibration. The WBV and CON group repeated 5 set and trained two times weekly for 8-weeks. Paired t-test was used to test for differences between the groups at baseline and after 4-weeks and 8-Weeks. And independent t-test was used to test for differences between the groups at TG and CG. All analyses were executed using SPSS software 18.0. The level of significance was set at p<.050. Results : Following the 8-Weeks training sessions, an increase in the back-muscle strength was found to be greater for the TG compared with the CG group(p<.05). Muscle endurance was significantly decreased after training than before training only for the CG(p<.05). Isometric Hip/Lumber Extension/Flextion measurement was found to be significantly greater for the TG compared with the CG group(p<.05). The finding indicates that WBV effects as an efficient training stimulus to enhance muscle function by facilitating neural control trail. Following muscle activation in motor unit synchronization of the co-contraction of the muscles. Conclusion : The results imply that the WBV training may have enhanced muscle function in rehabilitation for sports players.
