Simjae defined the relationship between Learning of Classics and Learning of the Mind-and-Heart as mutually interdependent. Clarifying "righteousness and principle" lies within the purview of "knowledge" and cultivating the mind-and-heart based on such knowledge lies within the realm of "action." Learning of Classics and Learning of Controlling the Mind-and-Heart thus can be understood as relationship between knowledge and action. If Simjae's theory of knowledge and action is applied to the relationship between Learning of Classics and Learning of the Mind-and-Heart, we can derive the following conclusion. His assertion that "knowledge precedes action" indicates that classical studies to explore the principle of goodness must precede mind-and-heart studies to cultivate the mind. In fact, only when we know what is the right principle can we cultivate our mind based on that principle. However, Simjae attached importance to action in terms of its significance. This means that the Learning of the Mind-and-Heart is "eventually more important" than the Learning of Classics which explores the principle of goodness. Thus, when linked to his theory on knowledge and action, Simjae 's philosophy founded on the twin pillars of classical studies and mind-and-heart studies can be summarized: "One must first delve into the principle of goodness through Confucian classical studies and then rectify one's mind based on knowledge thus gained."
The main purpose of this study is to explore the structure of local government social welfare finance and tendency of changing structure and what affects the change. We select GuRoGu budget from 2000 to 2007 as one of local governments in Korea to perform the study goal. After we analyzed the contents of the budget, we have developed the framework of analysis for reclassifying local government welfare budget. First of all, we find utility of the framework of analysis which classify local government social welfare budget as target groups, properties, and the source of the finance. Secondly, the structure of local government welfare finance has changed for 8 years. The rate of finance for direct service has risen more than that for indirect service, and the rate of finance providing material(or service) type has risen more than that of providing monetary type. The rate of the finance from central government has grown up rapidly, whereas that from local government has fallen off. The hypotheses that the rate of financial self-reliance and the increase rate of social welfare expenditure to the previous year play a significant role to the rate of social welfare expenditure are not clear in our study. But we find the central government's effects to the local government welfare budget has grown up. So, we propose if we analyze the hypothesis of incrementalism, we must divide the effects of the previous year expenditure from the effects of central government's policy.

AMOREPACIFIC has rapidly grown to become a successful global brand by persistently seeking and achieving success in foreign markets. In 2011, AMOREPACIFIC was ranked as one of the global top 20 cosmetics companies. What makes AMOREPACIFIC's global success noteworthy is that AMOREPACIFIC challenged the France and the US market, where competition level is the toughest. Lolita Lempicka, AMOREPACIFIC's perfume brand, was chosen as one of the top seven most popular brands in the women's perfume market in France. In addition, Amorepacific, AMOREPACIFIC's namesake skincare brand, is currently recognized as a top prestige brand in the USA. Their success played a significant role as a bridgehead for AMOREPACIFIC in becoming a global cosmetics company. The main object of this case study is to analyze how AMOREPACIFIC became a global cosmetic company through building key brands such as Lolita Lempicka and Amorepafic, among others. Therefore, this study reviewed AMOREPACIFIC's unconventional approach in launching Lolita Lempicka in France, and Amorepacific in the US by focusing on how they foresaw the future opportunities and employed innovative marketing strategies. Specifically, we focused on Amorepacific's marketing strategy under the critical period when AMOREPACIFIC achieved great success in France with Lolita Lempicka (between 1997 and 2004) and in US with the brand, Amorepacific (2003-2008). The case of AMOREPACIFIC's success in the global markets can give valuable lessons to companies that want to extend their businesses to foreign countries and ultimately become global. One such lesson is the importance of building a successful pioneer brand in a powerful bridgehead market. While domestic competitors first entered into less competitive markets such as those in South-East Asia, AMOREPACIFIC challenged the toughest markets such as the French and US markets where the incumbent companies waged the most intensive and severe battles against Lolita Lempick and Amorepacific. Through the success in France and US market, however, AMOREPACIFIC built a powerful base for its successful global expansion. Another valuable lesson is the importance of foresight in uncovering great opportunities hidden behind the trends without losing focus on the brand's core character and values. Lolita Lempicka and Amorepacific showed excellence in foresight competition, which led them to succeed against the intense competition from Goliath companies. If Lolita Lempicka and Amorepacific had just followed the popular market trend at the time, they would have never succeeded.
Death has been one of the basic objects in philosophy and religion. Why do people feel afraid about death? Maybe it is because they don't know the situation after death or because they have a wrong idea about it. Someone may think that he/she doesn't care the situation. But this attitude is wrong. We must understand that our attitude about life is shaped by our knowledge of the situation after death. A recurrent theme about death in popular thought is the idea that death is mysterious. As we have seen, it is difficult to formulate a satisfactory philosophical analysis of the concept of death. If it is impossible to analyse the concept of death, then it is impossible to explain precisely what we mean when we say that something dies. It might be said therefore that, in virtue of this fact, death is mysterious. Of course, death is not distinctively mysterious - all other unanalysable concepts are equally mysterious in this way. Reflection on death gives rise to a variety of philosophical questions. One of the deepest of these is a question about the nature of death. Typically, philosophers interpret this question as a call for an analysis or definition of the concept of death. Plato, for example, proposed to define death as the separation of soul from body. However, this definition is not acceptable to those who think that there are no souls. It is also unacceptable to anyone who thinks that plants and lower animals have no souls, but can nonetheless die. Others have defined death simply as the cessation of life. This too is problematic, since an organism that goes into suspended animation ceases to live, but may not actually die. The eastern philosophers proposed to define death as the nonduality of life and death. Taoists, for example, do not believe in the Wheel of Life of the Buddhists nor in the Heaven or Hell of Christianity. Taoists view existence as glorious. The whole Universe, they teach, is a marvelous, vibrant Unity wherein everything, visible and invisible, pulses with energy and changes. As being develops through the experience of existence, its vessels are swept onwards by the mighty stream of the eternal TAO to other forms of expression and activity. Man does not die; he merely extends into new fields. Taoists teach that the end of a person is the return to the Ultimate Reality. "Life is uncertain - Death is certain": This is a well known saying in Buddhism. Knowing very well that death is certain and it is a natural phenomenon that everyone has to face, we should not be afraid of death. Yet, instinctively, all of us fear death because we do not know how to think of its inevitability. We like to cling to our life and body and so develop too much craving and attachment.
From the field survey of the main ethnic minority areas in the south China, it is found that political, economic, cultural and natural environmental changes are the main reasons leading to the change of customary law. The power mechanism of the customary law change include the three aspects, such as the promotion of country elite, the dominance of grassroots government, and the daily demands of the villagers, which promote the change of customary law alone or together. Through the application of customary law, the country elites can adjust and refine the rules of customary law in order to make out the new customary law and promote its development. In the current pattern of rural governance, grassroots self-government is actually the "official supervision of people's autonomy". The executive power of the grassroots government often intervene the practice of customary law and other informal rules. This is another mechanism of customary law change. Customary law arises from the practice of the daily life of the villagers. If the villagers think that the norms of customary law cannot meet the actual needs of daily life practice, the customary law will be promoted in the form of collective consultation. This is the most important dynamic practice mechanism of customary law change. Transformation and abandonment are the two ways to change customary law. No matter what kind of change does not lead to the demise of the customary law system, the demise of the customary law is only an outdated result, which is made by the universality, nature and objectivity of customary law. The procedure of customary law change is the process of continuation and rebirth about customary law. The result of the change is to produce the new customary law of keeping pace with the times, and the customary law will be presented with new content and form after the change. The continuation of customary law means the inheritance of traditional customary law, but it is based on the transformation of traditional customary law. The rebirth of customary law means that the traditional customary law is completely discarded. But it will produce new customary law rules and be based on the needs of social life practice. Customary law occupies a pivotal position in the normative system and the national law cannot be replaced. The purpose of customary law change will let the customary rules better adapt to the development of modern society, adjust the social relations more reasonably and better meet people's needs of production and life, which is decided by the character of customary law.
The present study was to investigate the psychological characteristics of Urie(義理; interpersonal morality) in Korean interpersonal relationships in terms of qualitative approach and quantitative approach. In study 1, the authors developed an open-ended questionnaire focused on Urie behavior and not Urie behavior. The results revealed that helping, trusting, and caring behaviors and historicality were the key elements of Urie relationships. On the other hand, selfish and distrusting behaviors disrupted Urie relationships. In study 2, the authors conducted video experiment in order to study how the subjects interpret and understand Urie phenomenon. This video stimulus composed of love and friendship. The main characters showed their conflicts between love and friendship. Thus, subjects were asked to answer their interpretations and understandings about what was going on according to the scene. In study 3, we made three kinds of scenarios which were constituted in conflict situation between close friends who works together at their own company. If one asks some favors to you against social justice, how do you do? Most subjects evaluated the whistle blowing behavior as moral and just. However, they evaluated the insider as not good friend. They evaluated one who did favor even though that behavior was socially unjust as good friend and having Urie. Consequently, Korean people emphasize on their human relationships in everyday life. Even at this point in the era of digital transformation, we are still facing many problems in the safety sector that cannot prevent the occurrence or spread of human casualties. When you are in an unexpected emergency, it is often difficult to respond only with human physical ability. Human casualties continue to occur at construction sites, manufacturing plants, and multi-use facilities used by many people in everyday life. If you encounter a situation where normal judgment is impossible in the event of an emergency at a life site where there are still many safety blind spots, it is difficult to cope with the existing manual guidance method. New variable guidance technology, which combines artificial intelligence and digital twin, can make it possible to prevent casualties by processing large amounts of data needed to derive appropriate countermeasures in real time beyond identifying what safety accidents occurred in unexpected crisis situations. When a simple control method that divides and monitors several CCTVs is digitally converted and combined with artificial intelligence and 3D digital twin control technology, intelligence augmentation (IA) effect can be achieved that strengthens the safety decision-making ability required in real time. With the enforcement of the Serious Disaster Enterprise Punishment Act, the importance of distributing a smart location guidance system that urgently solves the decision-making delay that occurs in safety accidents at various industrial sites and strengthens the real-time decision-making ability of field workers and managers is highlighted. The smart location guidance system that combines artificial intelligence and digital twin consists of AIoT HW equipment, wireless communication NW equipment, and intelligent SW platform. The intelligent SW platform consists of Builder that supports digital twin modeling, Watch that meets real-time control based on synchronization between real objects and digital twin models, and Simulator that supports the development and verification of various safety management scenarios using intelligent agents. The smart location guidance system provides on-site monitoring using IoT equipment, CCTV-linked intelligent image analysis, intelligent operating procedures that support workflow modeling to immediately reflect the needs of the site, situational location guidance, and digital twin virtual fencing access control technology. This paper examines the limitations of traditional fixed passive guidance methods, analyzes global technology development trends to overcome them, identifies the digital transformation properties required to switch to intelligent variable smart location guidance methods, explains the characteristics and components of AI-based public facility smart fire safety integrated system (ISFS).

The bounce rate is the rate at which a user leaves immediately after visiting, and this study aimed to find out what attributes of a website affect the bounce rate. Web site evaluation items were defined as a total of 4 items and 27 evaluation attributes, including usability, information, service interaction, and technology, so that they can be commonly applied to venture companies in various industries through prior research. As a result of the study, 6 website attributes that affect the bounce rate were verified to be significant by discriminant analysis and decision tree analysis. Suggestions to reduce the bounce rate of venture business websites through this study are as follows. First, the path name of the website is displayed as mandatory and a pull-down menu function is added to facilitate movement to other pages. Second, it is good to expose core content that can attract users' attention in the form of a banner, and place internal link banners in the right place on sub-pages. Third, external links should be linked to a new window so that they do not leave the current page immediately so that they can be re-entered. Lastly, it is recommended to expose the contact information of the person in charge and consultation function as direct information for communication with customers, but if individual response is difficult, at least the consultation function must be added. These suggestions are expected to be of practical help in various fields such as website development, operation, and marketing. However, in special cases, a high bounce rate may be normal, so it should be considered according to the situation.

The assessment affects the learning motivation of students. If we know what factors in assessment affect motivation, we could find the method for stimulating the motivation. In this study, we used two kinds of method, the recollection paper and the questionnaire. 54 undergraduates of a university in Seoul made the recollection paper about the science learning before, and 63 undergraduates also answered the question for the effect of factors in assessment on the science learning motivation. In result, the factors in assessment that affect the science learning motivation of high achieving students are the achievement, difficulty, validity, and preparation for science fair. This study suggests that difficulty and validity of assessments remarkably affects the science motivation and the science fair is more affective to the science motivation than regular examination in school. Therefore we suggest two methods for the science motivation of high achieving students. The first method is to make questions that can assess scientific thinking faculty and investigating faculty without pre-learning and memorizing. The second method is to encourage various activities in science to increase the number of chance for participating in them.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to introduce the Institutional Review Board (IRB) member-based internal audit method performed at A University Hospital, a secondary medical institution, and to identify the differences in audit results according to the characteristics of each auditor and the factors affecting the internal audit results. Furthermore, we will find out what needs to be improved in the internal audits to achieve Quality assurance (QA) objectives for human subject research conducted in medical institutions. Methods: The auditors were divided into group A (IRB member belonging to institution A) and group B (clinical trial QA administrator belonging to other institutions) and independently inspected the 2 studies using the same internal audit checklist (consisting of 11 domains, 130 items), and the differences in the internal inspection checklists written by each auditor were compared and analyzed. Results: In the case of audit for the study 1, the number of missing checklists is 1 for group A and 0 for group B, and the number of the matters to be pointed out is 1 for group A and 12 for group B. In the case of audit for the study 2, the number of missing checklists is 2 for both A and B, and the number of points is 5 for A and 4 for B. The differences in the internal audit results written by each auditor that the authors verified are summarized as follows. First, there were more comments from group B auditor than from group A auditor. Second, the results may vary because each auditor has different criteria for evaluating the appropriateness of an item. Third, there are cases where the questions on the checklist are vague or the definition is not clear, so they have the same opinion but check it with different answers. Fourth, if the auditors make a mistake when filling out the checklist, it causes to led to different the results. Conclusion: We propose the following items that should be improved in order to conduct consistent and efficient internal audits. First, it is necessary to test the tool in order to carry out reliable and consistent internal audits. Second, it is necessary to complete specialized training related to internal audit before conducting internal audit. Third, before notifying the audit results, it is necessary to have a procedure or a final review system to check whether the audit contents are appropriate. Fourth, Institutional support is needed to recruit specialized personnel for internal audits.
