As the multidirection and posterior instabilities of the shoulder are not only uncommon but responds well to conservative treatment, the shoulder instabilities which requires surgical treatment are traumatic anterior type in most cases, Although various surgical procedures had been used in the past, Bankart procedure is the standard surgical method as a primary procedure in traumatic anterior instability, Nevertheless there has been changes in the techniques of Bankart procedure in order to minimize decrease of external rotation and effectively address capsular laxilty, Capsular shift might be needed if there remains excessive capsular laxity of the inferior capsule after repair of the Bankart lesion, Large bony Bankart lesion should be fixed if possible and severe glenoid rim erosion requires extracapsular bone block after repair of the capsule. Although a few surgical procedures are described for the management of Hill-Sachs lesion in special circumstances, Hill-Sachs lesion does not usually need to be addressed.

In J. Korean Math. Soc, Zhang, Xu and other authors investigated the following problem: what is the structure of finite groups which have many normal subgroups? In this paper, we shall study this question in a more general way. For a finite group G, we define the subgroup $\mathcal{A}(G)$ to be intersection of the normalizers of all non-cyclic subgroups of G. Set $\mathcal{A}_0=1$. Define $\mathcal{A}_{i+1}(G)/\mathcal{A}_i(G)=\mathcal{A}(G/\mathcal{A}_i(G))$ for $i{\geq}1$. By $\mathcal{A}_{\infty}(G)$ denote the terminal term of the ascending series. It is proved that if $G=\mathcal{A}_{\infty}(G)$, then the derived subgroup G' is nilpotent. Furthermore, if all elements of prime order or order 4 of G are in $\mathcal{A}(G)$, then G' is also nilpotent.

It is well known that for a Krull domain R, the divisor class group of R is a torsion group if and only if every subintersection of R is a ring of quotients. Thus a natural question is that under what conditions, for a non-Krull domain R, every (t-)subintersection (resp., t-linked overring) of R is a ring of quotients or every (t-)subintersection (resp., t-linked overring) of R is at. To address this question, we introduce the notions of *-compact packedness and *-coprime packedness of (an ideal of) an integral domain R for a star operation * of finite character, mainly t or w. We also investigate the t-theoretic analogues of related results in the literature.

In [5], Johnson introduced the primitivity of subgroups and proved that a finite group G is supersolvable if every primitive subgroup of G has a prime power index in G. In that paper, he also posed an interesting problem: what a group looks like if all of its primitive subgroups are maximal. In this note, we give the detail structure of such groups in solvable case. Finally, we use the primitivity of some subgroups to characterize T-group and the solvable $PST_0$-groups.

The obvious way to make a computer system more powerful is to make the processor as fast as possible. Furthermore, adopting a large number of such fast processors would be the next step. This multiprocessor system could be useful only if it distributes workload uniformly and if its processors are fully utilized. To achieve a higher processor utilization, memory access latency must be reduced as much as possible and even more the remaining latency must be hidden. The actual latency can be reduced by using fast logic and the effective latency can be reduced by using cache. This article discusses what the memory latency problem is, how serious it is by presenting analytical and simulation results, and existing techniques for coping with it; such as write-buffer, relaxed consistency model, multi-threading, data locality optimization, data forwarding, and data prefetching.

FMEA is a widely used technique to assess or to improve reliability of products at early stage of design and development. In order to implement FMEA effectively, it is important to utilize knowledge or technical know-hows. However, that is very difficult. In fact, if information on the failure modes is enough, it is important to consider a counterplan to eliminate critical failure modes. If engineers do not have such information, however, it is more important to know what failure modes of the component under consideration would undergo. This means that the purposes of performing FMEA varies according to the situation. Therefore, we need different kinds of FMEA charts to meet those purposes. This paper proposes two FMEA charts: one is suitable for detecting potential failure modes and the other is for product improvements.

Much evidence points to the fact that Korean traditional architecture has long reflected traditional Korean philosophy. If what this evidence points to Is true, there is much more insight to be gained about this connection. It is important to begin with the idea that Korean culture stemmed from Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism. All three share similar ideas, and this study will set out to prove that topology, an anti-Euclidean school of thought created at the end of the 19th century, shares many of the same core ideas as the three mentioned above. Transitively, if Korean traditional culture is reflected in Korean traditional architecture, and topology shares many of the same core ideas, it seems that topology should be accepted into the mainstream of architectural design. This study will aim to interpret space structure forms and space constructions of the Korean traditional architecture from the topological perspective.

This paper discusses various problems related to the teaching of English grammar at Korean universities. We first discuss whether English grammar should be taught at universities, and, if it is, what kind of English grammar needs to be taught. We propose that the English grammar we teach to Korean undergraduate students be eclectic in the sense that the traditional grammar established by Jespersen and others be the major source of instruction, supplemented, if necessary, by school grammar and also by linguistically oriented grammars such as generative grammar or cognitive grammar. Then we discuss the content of the English grammar that should be included in the curriculum : (i) present perfect vs. past, (ii) will vs. be going to, (iii) must vs. have to, (iv) may vs. can, (v) infinitives vs. gerunds, (vi) conative constructions, and (vii) the passive.

For surgical Treatment of spastic deformities of the foot, selective peripheral neurotomies were introduced. These neurotomies utilize microsurgical techniques and intraoperative electrical stimulation for better identification of the function of the fascicles constituting the nerve. Selectivity is required to supress the excess of spasticity without excessive weakening of motor strength and without producing exaggerated amyotrophy. To achieve this goal, minimum one fourth of the motor fibers must be preserved. Neurotomies may be indicated when spasticity is localized to muscle or muscle groups supplied by a single or a few peripheral nerves that are easily accessible. To help the surgeon decide if neurotomy is appropriate, temporary local anesthetic block of the nerve with bupivacaine can be useful. Such a test can determine if articular limitations result from spasticity, musculotendinous contractures, or articular ankyloses because only spasticity is decreased by the test. In additon, these tests give the patient a chance to appreciate what to expect from the operation.
