An analysis of the Convergence structural model on well-dying awareness has been conducted with a sample of 769 retired seniors who are participating in sports activities, and the results are as follows; First, after testing the goodness-of-fit of our structural model on well-dying awareness among retired seniors participating in sports activities, the final model was a good fit with physical care, which is a sub-variable of health promotion behaviors, and physical wellness, which is a sub-variable of wellness, used as covariates. Second, as a result of influence verification, the structural model showed six paths in total: resocialization${\rightarrow}$well-dying awareness, resocialization${\rightarrow}$health promotion behaviors, resocialization${\rightarrow}$wellness, health promotion behaviors${\rightarrow}$wellness, health promotion behaviors${\rightarrow}$well-dying awareness, and wellness${\rightarrow}$well-dying awareness.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among health behavior, wellness condition, and stage of change in health behavior by risk of cardiocerebrovascular diseases (CVD) in male office workers. Methods: A total of 205 male office workers participated in the 2017 National Health Examination at a manufacturing/ R&D business in Seongnam and completed self-reported questionnaires. Results: There were significant differences in health behavior scores by risk of CVD (F=4.78, p=.009) and statistically significant differences in no smoking (F=5.86, p=.003), exercise (F=5.49, p=.005), and health checkup (F=4.39, p=.014). There were statistically significant differences in health behavior (t=-4.14, p<.001) and wellness condition (t=-2.61, p=.010) by the stage of change in health behavior. Health behavior had a weak positive correlation with wellness condition (r=.36, p<.001). Logistic regression analysis showed that, when adjusted for age and employment period, the probability of becoming attention or risk group was 11% lower for quitting smoking (OR 0.89, 95% CI 0.81~0.97, p=.006) and 18% lower for regular exercise (OR 0.82, 95% CI 0.70~0.95, p=.009). Conclusion: The direction of health management at the workplace should be changed to promote the wellness of all workers, not the management of the disease, and a health promotion program should be continued to emphasize health behaviors such as smoking cessation and regular exercise.
The purpose of this study was to examine the change of wellness health awareness among 168 university students od D city participating in sports physical fitness class. Wellness health awareness was surveyed using Korean Wellness Questionnaire (KWLS) and the collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and two-way ANOVA depending on the research purpose. The results showed that the wellness health awareness of university students did not show statistically significant interaction effect between gender and class(before and after class), but differences between gender and enforcement factors were significant in some sub - area). Based on these results, it is necessary to provide intensive health management class to university students for the solution of positive change of well-being health awareness besides various physical education class by each university.

This study attempts to find how the government policies regarding population aging may affect the life patterns of the baby boomers and what factors play a significant role in providing life wellness. This study uses the data provided by Korea Welfare Panel Study published between the years 2006 and 2011. First, according to the analysis of the data from Korea Welfare Panel Study in the year 2006, the factors affecting the life wellness are family relations, health and social relations. However, between the years 2007 and 2009, the major factor is not the present income providing security or life satisfaction. Second, the next significant factor in improving the wellness of life is family relations after health or occupation. Therefore, the government should provide them with re-employment programs prior to their retirement through which baby boomers can find employment similar or different to their present occupations. For improving the wellness of life, the most significant factor is family relations.
This study was aimed to verify the influencing factors on wellness by examining the relationships between self-efficacy for exercise, psychological need satisfaction in exercise, and wellness. The subjects of this study were self - report questionnaires collected from 88 male and female adults aged between 19 and 60 years during April 6 ~ June 8, 2017. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS/WIN 22.0 program using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient analysis, and multiple regression analysis. As results of multiple regression analysis, the factors affecting on the wellness of adults were a relatedness of psychological need satisfaction in exercise(${\beta}=.316$, p=.012) and self-efficacy for exercise(${\beta}=.279$, p=.008). Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to implement and develop a tailored wellness program that improves the psychological need satisfaction in exercise and exercise self-efficacy for adults.
Background: Researchers have previously commenced examining the degree of concordance between parent proxy and child self-reports on health-related quality of life (HRQOL) of many disease and impairment populations. Objects: To explore the differences between parent proxy and child self-reports on the HRQOL using Korean version of KIDSCREEN-10 questionnaires for applying to elementary school children and their parents who participated for a school-based wellness program. Methods: The focus groups were recruited for a school-based wellness program by implementing the following wellness services: 1) referring to a screening session for detecting potential posture-related musculoskeletal problems and 2) recommending home exercise programs. Before a primary field testing for the program, two focus groups were formed with a group of 9 parents and their 9 elementary school children aged 8-10 years of age. The parent proxy and child self-report versions of KIDSCREEN-10 questionnaires were administered to both groups after completion of the wellness program. Item level Rasch rating scale analysis was applied to compute logit scales of KIDSCREEN-10 questionnaire. Intraclass correlation coefficients (ICCs) and scatterplot of item difficulty between two reports were analyzed. Results: For fit statistics of parent proxy report, all items except 4 items (i.e., psychological well-being, mood/emotions, self-perception, parent relation) were found to be acceptable. For fit statistics of child self-report, all items except 3 items (i.e., psychological well-being, autonomy and home life) were acceptable. The relationship between two reports using ICCs were ranging from weak to very strong at p = 0.05 (i.e, ICCs = 0.011 to 0.905). Scatterplot analysis between two reports showed a major disparity on self-perception item at 95% confidence intervals. Conclusion: Both item level analyses and ICC comparisons provided a disparity between parent proxy and child self-reports of the HRQOL on self-perception item after competing a school-based wellness program. Therapist should consider the item as part of the HRQOL assessment.

Graduate well-being is foundational to academic success, and they are becoming more and more vulnerable. This is as they suffer from mental health challenges like anxiety and depression at rates six times higher than the general population. When the nature of their educational experience changes, such as when they had to stay in their homes during the COVID-19 pandemic, the stress on their mental health increases. The number of cases of emotional wellness among university students is considered a public health problem, but these young people often do not seek appropriate treatment. This study, therefore, aims to identify the influence of health behavior factors on graduate emotional wellness. This study used a questionnaire with a cross-sectional survey design. Questionnaires were distributed online to graduates from selected Private and Public Higher Education Institutions in Malaysia. The Partial Least Square Equation Model (PLS-SEM) was used to analyze the results of the study. Overall findings indicate that the health behavior factors have a significant influence on graduate emotional wellness. The findings from this study will benefit the management, academics, counselors, and other entities, including the Students' Representative Council, in identifying ways to improve services and upgrade the necessary facilities to enhance the graduate's emotional wellness.
The purpose of this study was to examine to identify factors affecting wellness of fire officials. This study collected questionnaire data from 219 fire officials working in Gyeongsangnam-do. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation, Sobel test and multiple regression analysis with IBM SPSS statistics 24.0 program. Wellness of fire officials was correlated with job stress(r=.-49, p<.001) and positive psychological capital(r=.70, p<.001). In addition, job stress showed a significant negative correlation with positive psychological capital (r=-.56, p<.001). As a result of analyzing the mediating effect of positive psychological capital on the relationship between job stress and wellness of fire officials, positive psychological capital showed a significant mediating effect. Based on the finding, it is necessary to develop an intervention program that strengthens positive psychological capital in order to improve the wellness of fire officials and reduce job stress.
This study developed a measure to measure wellness-seeking behavior in important areas of life for general adults in Korea and verified its validity. For the development of the wellness scale, 31 factors derived through literature review, expert interviews, in-depth interviews, open questionnaires 1 and 2, and 182 questions were selected as the final 10 factors and 99 questions. Through exploratory factor analysis of the results of the preliminary survey of 351 adults in Korea, 58 questions of 10 factors were derived, and some of the questions reflecting important concepts in each factor were revised, and this survey was conducted with 63 questions of 10 factors. In this survey conducted on 667 people, to verify the validity of the composition concept of this test, the entire sampling was divided into two groups, one group was subjected to exploratory factor analysis, and the other group was subjected to confirmatory factor analysis. As a result of exploratory factor analysis, 63 questions of 10 factors (work, community, family, others, economic power, self-esteem, leisure, physical health, spirituality, and self-growth) were finally derived, and confirmatory factor analysis using the structural equation model verified that the model fit criteria were met. Convergence validity was verified using the K-MHC-SF and Wellness Index for Workers to verify whether the derived wellness scale and its sub-factors actually measure wellness. As a result of analyzing the relationship between the variables and factors of the Subjective Happiness Scale and Life Scale to verify the validity related to the criteria, it was found to be a significant correlation. As a result of confirming the significance of each path through multiple regression analysis, the 'self-esteem' on the wellness scale was identified as the most important factor influencing subjective happiness and life satisfaction. Finally, discussions on this research process and results, academic significance and practical significance, limitations, and future research directions were presented.
