Objectives: This study was performed to investigate the nutritional status, health conditions, eating habits and experience and demand for nutrition dietary management of senior citizens. And these data are formed foundation of development of nutrition dietary management education program and contents in welfare facilities for the aged. Methods: We visited 3 public health centers, 3 senior citizens centers, and 4 welfare centers in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Chungnam province, and Daejeon area and carried out interview by semi-structured questionnaire for senior citizens older than 65 years who use those facilities. Results: The study included 17%, 30.7% and 52.3% of senior citizens from public health centers, seniorcitizen centers and and welfare centers, respectively. The age range of 43.9% of the population was 65-74 years and and 56.1% were older than 75 years. We observed that 83.2% of subjects took some medicines due to diseases that they have and 58.0% took prescription medicines for hypertension. The thing that they considered the most when selecting food was 'the taste'(p<0.05). Regarding the level of practice to keep the dietary life, they answered more than 'average' for most of items but answered less than 'average' for lot of salt intake, drinking, exercise. For the experience of nutrition dietary life education, only 19.8% answered 'Yes' and the service for nutrition dietary life management showed the highest score in the demand for 'provide nutritious food'. For the size of consulting group for nutrition/dietary life education, the public health center and welfare center preferred a larger group size but the senior citizens center preferred a smaller group. With regard to who will carry out the consulting, the demand for dietitian was the highest and the operation type showed the high demand in the order of consulting, education. The contents that they want to have consultation in nutrition dietary life education were diet therapy for diseases and the ordinary diet therapy for health. Conclusions: This study suggested the management of nutrition dietry life necessitates qualitative measures according to the different types of welfare facilities. For these, it is in need of development of counseling and education program included therapy for disease. Above all, the policy to secure dietitian of welfare facilities for the aged to perform these should be achived.

This study focuses on the relationship between time management behavior and parenting stress of mothers with developmentally disabled children. The participants of this study were 162 mothers whose children have developmental disabilities and attend pre-school and social welfare centers for early education. This study investigates the time management behaviors of the participants, and whether these behaviors have an effect on their time management satisfaction and parenting stress. The findings were as follows: 1) The time management behaviors of the participants were lower than average, scoring 2.87 out of 5. The order of dimensional scores from highest to lowest were sequencing, planning, recording habits, evaluating, and setting goals. 2) Time management satisfaction and parenting stress for the participants exhibited a negative correlation. 3) Adaptation behaviors of the children and time management behaviors of the mothers were factors that had significant effects on the mothers' parenting stress. These results showed the importance of time management for mothers with developmentally disabled children.

This study was conducted to understand current management status of welfare medical device centers and to suggest complementary point. Method: We surveyed 194 welfare medical device centers through the mail. The survey was done in three domains, i. e. management of service, assuring the health resources, offering the service. Results & Conclusions: According to the result of our study, several problems, which should be improved in the near future, were suggested. That were improving facilities(especially in sanitization of the devices), operating an education or training program for the personnel, and making up for the current management. It was very important for soft landing of long-term care insurance and improving quality of the elderly's life that 'Ministry of Health and Welfare' and 'National Health Insurance corporation' must support welfare medical device centers for discharging their roles

IT governance in order to achieve the strategic goals of the organization, leadership, organizational structure, and the process is defined. In order to achieve IT governance, organizational structure, leadership for spindle formation, maintenance, and standardized processes to specific and an effective ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) management model is needed. In this study, the K Authority Management Model of IT Governance ITIL - based research on service delivery and customer satisfaction through the effective information for ITSM (Information Technology Service Management, IT Service Management) building measures, information for business planning and performance management PMS (Project Management System, project Management System), survey on ICT service levels established through the process of planning and construction management models such as ITIL future research on the public portion of the proceeds from the ITIL management model can be utilized as a guideline when establishing a theoretical presents a base.

The purposes of study were to analyze the characteristics of case management network for the homebound elderly in Puchon and to identify major factors that affect the number of network member. The population of this study was social workers who provide services to the elderly. The results show that license of social work and information closeness have a significant effect on the number of network member among the independent variables. This finding is important for case management in the network. As observed in relationship characteristics, the community welfare center established by the university and city government roles in promoting service coordination.

Recently, increasing attention has been paid to the welfare of farm animals, which have been evaluated using behavioral and physiological measures. However, so far, the measures have almost always been used to estimate poor welfare. In this review, firstly we focus on how oxytocin (OT) relates to positive social behavior, pleasure, and stress tolerance, and second on which management factors stimulate OT release. OT induces maternal and affiliative behaviors and has an anti-stress effect. Further, OT is produced during enjoyable events, and has positive feedback on its own release as well. Therefore, to some extent, the relationship of OT to positive normal behavior was mutually beneficial-heightened OT concentration owing to comfortable rearing conditions induces positive social behavior, which in turn may increase OT concentration. Hence, studies on animal welfare should pay more attention to increasing comfort and the stress tolerance, rather than only focusing on when stress occurs in farm animals.

This study focused on the system regarding leave of absence in relation to family welfare, which has become a routine in some western countries, in three different perspectives. Those were the relations between reduced working hours and quality of life, maternal recreation, and finally, relations between infrastructure of vacation and culture. Systematic settlement of reduced working hours and maternal recreation in Germany allowed more time among family members and made large contribution to the improvement of family welfare in general. Since the stability of society is strongly based on the stability of family, Germany deserved to be case-studied as a good model. The recent tendency shows that Korean workers are starting to spend more time with their own family members than with their colleagues, and, as seen in the case of Germany, the stability of family welfare will improve if various infrastructures for family leisure are properly established in Korea.

It is the post-corona era that we will soon face. It is time to achieve the original purpose of job training for health and welfare personnel operated by the Korea Human Resource Development Institute for Health and Welfare and to innovate change to maintain educational consistency. This study reviewed literatures to find alternatives for efficient and effective curriculum operation by integrating contents of health and welfare job education. Through this, we decided to check the possibility of building an open platform and suggest it as a sufficient alternative. It is expected that the establishment of the open platform for job education in the health and welfare sector will enable the education accessibility and the management of the learning management system of the subjects. Above all, it will contribute to the duplication of the education experts and the efficiency of the budget.

Today, the principle of competition is being applied to Non-profit sector also. Especially, as for the application of marketing technique to utilize internet to have big marketing potential, the efforts for the realization and application of positive marketing to be suitable for the real situation of each institution is necessary in connection with the donor development of social welfare institution. In this study tried to examine the charge of method to develop donor which is based on the development of information technique and the popularization of internet from the viewpoint of internet marketing and suggest the basic data about the present situation of donor marketing to use the effective scheme for internet marketing.

The purpose of this study is to develop human resources and management system model for home-based welfare services. For the purpose of the study, both of method of literature review about home-based welfare services and previous research and survey were used in the study. The subjects of the survey were Junior and senior high school students, the employed, housewives, the disabled, and the aged. They were considered as human resources for the home-based welfare services. Based on the result of the survey and related theories, the study suggests the model for the development of volunteers and management system composed of recruitment, education and training, disposition, management and supervision, and evaluation for home-based welfare services. Assuming linking and cooperation between volunteer center and agency using volunteers which provide home-based welfare services, the model was developed. The role of volunteer center is recruitment, education and training. The agency using volunteers is responsible for education, disposition, supervision, and evaluation related to practice. In the stage of recruitment, elaborating strategy considering characteristics of group was suggested. In the campaign, use of mass media, selection of timing, equal opportunity for all group were suggested. Also outreach strategy as a effective recruitment strategy was presented. In the stage of education and training, method and content of education in each stage of primary education and re-education were presented. In the stage disposition, method and content for the right volunteer in the right place were suggested. In the stage of management and supervision, supervision by coordinator and necessity of using volunteers as para-professionals was suggested. Also the necessity of program operation for volunteer maintenance and management was discussed. In the stage of evaluation, time, main body, and method of evaluation was suggested.
