$Bi_2S_3$다결정과 $Bi_2S_3$ 무정형 박막은 증착방법에 의해서 성장되었다. 측정된 격자상수들은 기판온도 $210^{circ}C$에서 $a=1.708{\AA},\;b=3.943{\AA} 그리고 $c=3.943{\AA}$이었으며, orthorhombic 구조를 가진것으로 나타내었다. 다결정 박막 $Bi_2S_3$energy은 $289^{circ}C$ 에서 1.375eV로 측정되었다. 674nm의 중심에서는 변화된 광자흡수 구조로 생각되어졌다.

The promoter region of pyrC (dihydroorotase) gene of Escherichia coli was shown to have Fur protein binding properties by gel retardation assay. In vivo regulation of the pyrC expression was studied by measuring dihydroorotase activity and ${\beta}$-galactosidase level in the $fur^+$ and $fur^-$ genetic background. The expression of chromosomal dihydroorotase activity and ${\beta}$-galactosidase activity of pyrC-lacZ fusion plasmid was repressed to about 30% and 17%, respectively in the $fur^+$ strain compared to those in the $fur^-$ strain. Divalent ions such as $Fe^{2+}$ and $Zn^{2+}$ were not required for the repression. PyrC expression was also reduced to one half by 1 mM uracil. The effect of uracil was independent on the fur gene.

It is shown that every almost linear mapping $h:{\mathcal{A}}{\rightarrow}{\mathcal{B}}$ of a unital Poisson Banach algebra ${\mathcal{A}}$ to a unital Poisson Banach algebra ${\mathcal{B}}$ is a Poisson algebra homomorphism when h(xy) = h(x)h(y) holds for all $x,y{\in}\;{\mathcal{A}}$, and that every almost linear almost multiplicative mapping $h:{\mathcal{A}}{\rightarrow}{\mathcal{B}}$ is a Poisson algebra homomorphism when h(qx) = qh(x) for all $x\;{\in}\;{\mathcal{A}}$. Here the number q is in the functional equation given in the almost linear almost multiplicative mapping. We prove that every almost Poisson bracket $B:{\mathcal{A}}\;{\times}\;{\mathcal{A}}\;{\rightarrow}\;{\mathcal{A}}$ on a Banach algebra ${\mathcal{A}}$ is a Poisson bracket when B(qx, z) = B(x, qz) = qB(x, z) for all $x,z{\in}\;{\mathcal{A}}$. Here the number q is in the functional equation given in the almost Poisson bracket.

An abattoir survey was carried out on 376 Korean native cattle reared and slaughtered in Soon-chun area to determine the prevalence of Fasciola hepatica infections. The average prevalence of fascioliasis was 44%; the infection rate had a tendency to increase with age. The mean(${\pm}SE$) length and width of the flukes were $24.9{\pm}2.5mm$ and $10.5{\pm}1.7mm$, respectively.

Some hematological and biochemical indices were assayed in Korean native cattle naturally harbouring Fasciola hepatica infection and compared with uninfected controls. Affected animals revealed reduction in total erythrocyte count and hemoglobin content, and increase in total leukocyte count. Infected cattle had significantly lower levels of serum total protein, serum albumin and magnesium. Significantly higher values were obtained for the serum enzymes aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase.

For identification of four sibling species of the Anopheles hyrcanus complex found in Korea, the 5.8 rDNA-ITS2-28S rDNA region of each species was sequenced and the species-specific primers wee designed The amplified PCR products obtained from each species were analyzed by agarose gel electrophoresis. The result showed a single species- specific band, I.e. 559bp, 432bp, 322bp and 192bp for An. sinensis, An. sp., An. lesteri and An. pullus, respectively. In conclusion, the species-specific PCR primers designed from ITS2 variable regions functioned successfully and specifically, and can be applied as a useful tool for identifying species of the Anopheles hyrcanus complex found in Korea.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate relations among lifestyle, depression and health-related quality of life (HRQoL) of adult women in the Jeju Province. Methods: This study sampled 154 women aged 20 or older through convenience sampling and surveyed them from January to February, 2008. Results: The mean score for lifestyle was 3.7, for depression 12.1, and for HRQoL 75.2. There were significant negative correlations between lifestyle and depression, and between depression and HRQoL. There was a significant positive correlation between lifestyle and HRQoL. Conclusion: The results indicate that HRQoL of women is associated with lifestyle and depression. When developing programs to enhance health in women, consideration should be given to lifestyle and depression.

Histone acetylation as epigenetic marker plays a critical role in gene expression through the interaction of nucleosomes with DNA, modulating the efficiency which RNA-polymerase can interact with promotors to initiate transcription. After fertilization, highly acetylated chromatin takes place and maintain during 1cell stages. The hyperacetylation may lead minor genome activation for survival and cleavage, and then may affect embryonic genome activation and development to balstocyst. (omitted)

We are stepping into so called "aged society" stage, as the mature people account for 7% of the population by UN's standard yardstick. The goal of this research is to provide the fundamental source in producing ecological lifestyle uniforms of health and substantiality: LOHAS which are relevant to high performance and healthy body and take things like architecture, driving, surroundings, and recycling as main factors. the results of study were as follows: Therefore we can predict, through exerting researches about consumer's usage and preference of uniforms, that the garment business will be upgraded to the medical welfare and urban life style business level. All of the silver town resident we researched wear silver town uniforms, and the uniforms were chosen by the owner and operator. This research was processed through the survey of supervisors who were employed in senior residences. 66% of elderly changed their clothes for laundary every 2 days, The timing of removal of the old uniform was that 17% was less than 1 years, consideration of buying silver-town uniforms were consider materials, design, laundary, convenience of administration, durability, color, cost.

Statistical analyses used in clinical articles published on the Journal of Korean Neurosurgical Society were identified and appropriateness of statistical aspects in reporting results was assessed. Forty seven clinical articles were selected in this study, which were published from February, 2005 to February, 2006 on the journal. The frequency of statistical analysis was as follows : descriptive statistics only 24 [51.1%]. one type of statistical method 10 [21.3%], two or more methods 13 [27.6%]. An assessment of statistical aspects was performed in 24 clinical articles reporting inferential statistics. Ten articles [41.7%] did not adequately describe or reference all statistical methods used. There were six articles [25.0%] not reporting the confidence level used as the critical criteria of the statistical significance. In thirteen articles [54.2%] it seems more appropriate to implement multivariate analyses in addition to univariate analyses. We recommend that the journal readers should concentrate on improving their knowledge of basic statistics and statistical review for manuscripts submitted should be sought from professionals in the fields of biostatistics and epidemiology.
