Purpose - This study explores the role of construal levels in predicting online consumer behavior on a retail website. It builds on the conceptualization that simply browsing a website and making actual purchases can be an outcome of how abstractly or concretely one thinks about that experience. This study examines the differential effects of intermediary websites' attributes and seller's product offerings in predicting frequency of visits and actual purchases. Research design, data, and methodology - Data were collected from 188 undergraduate students in a large university of Korea. Hierarchical regression model was utilized to test the proposed effect of website characteristics and seller attributes on visit and purchase. Results - We propose and find that online shopping website visits and purchase frequency have different antecedents. The results reveal that website visit frequency and purchase have different predictors and this can be explained through construal level theory. Specifically, we find purchase frequency is predicted more by website image and financial benefits can be more predictive in actual purchases. Conclusions - Consumer behavior on the internet can be delineated into website visits and actual purchases. First, uplifting the image of the website itself is much more important than just making offerings cheaper. Online shopping website should try to match its features to mental representations that customers go through from just visit (abstract) to purchase (concrete).
The purposes of this study were to investigate the impacts of shopping value, customer satisfaction, and switching barrier on consumer loyalty to website. For this purpose, the study tested covariance structural model which set relationships among independent variable(shopping value), meditated variables(customer satisfaction and switching barrier), and dependent variable(website loyalty). The data were collected from a sample of 239 internet shopper of college female students. The covariance structural model and research hypothesis analyzed by using SPSS 16.0 and AMOS 5.0 program. The results are as follows: First, the structural model is accepted significantly. Second, shopping value had a positive influence on customer satisfaction and switching barrier. Third, shopping value, shopping satisfaction of customer, and switching barrier had a positive impact on website loyalty. Forth, shopping value had a positive impact on website loyalty directly, it was found to have a indirect effect on website loyalty through customer satisfaction and switching barrier.

This study identifies how website attributes impact consumer loyalty to websites. For this purpose, the study tested covariance of a structural model which set relationships among independent variables (trust and site stickiness), meditated variables (relationship commitment), and dependent variables (website loyalty). The data were collected from a sample of 239 female college internet student shoppers. The covariance structural model and research hypothesis are analyzed using SPSS 16.0 and AMOS 5.0 program. The results are as follows: First, the structural model is significantly accepted. Second, trust and stickiness have a positive influence on the relationship commitment. Third, trust, stickiness, and relationship commitment have a positive impact on website loyalty. Forth, even if stickiness has no positive influence on website loyalty, it has a significant effect on website loyalty through the relationship commitment.
Websites support various user activities in a wide range of contents domain and so they require different approach to extract principal design problems. In the point of media perspective on websites, this paper figures out the relationship between designer, user and website and discusses design factors of usability. It aims for the basic framework for interface design. In the media perspective website is an information entity mediating user and designer. Information entity is composed of various design factors relating to user, designer, website and others. It intends that user and information entity are accommodative to each other and have common conceptual model. To do so it is necessary for achieving usability objectives such as effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction based on the understanding user goal, cognitive and affective characteristics. In the point of usability we examine design factors and features that are appropriate for users cognitive and affective function according to information entity model that constitutes contents, organization and representation level.

Recently, e-Biz Companies are paying attention to e-CRM in an effort to utilize meaningful customers' information obtained using their websites. e-Biz companies try to increase the profit by collecting customers' data, serving customers better through interactive communications and differentiating customers' management using their websites. Although it is found that corporates' websites play a critical role in e-CRM, only a few researches have been conducted related to the effective website design. Tn this study, desirable website design factors were identified through literature review, and an empirical study was conducted to identify how these factors are related to customer's loyalty measured via customer's intention for continuous use and recommendation the website to others. Also this study was designed to suggest a benchmark for the companies which plan to build a website for e-CRM in the future.
This study explored the current implementation status of corporate social responsibility (CSR) among textiles and apparel manufacturers and retailers in Korea, based on the Triple Bottom Line (TBL). We also investigated the provision of information related to CSR practices on the websites of companies. A quantitative content analysis was conducted to analyze the website disclosures of 61 listed companies categorized in the textiles, apparel, shoes, and luxury industry. Analysis was focused on the presence, accessibility, and the level of CSR website disclosure. Seven themes emerged by applying the constant comparison analysis. Using Scott's formula for pi, a high level of inter-coder reliability was achieved, ranging from 0.91 to 0.97. Regarding the three dimensions of CSR suggested in TBL, economic dimension was relatively more emphasized in the website disclosures of most companies, compared to social and environment dimensions. Website disclosures were further investigated, based on the product categories of each company. Limitations of this study and suggestions for future studies are discussed.
Purpose - The present study examines interrelationships among antecedent factors defining consumer behavior in selecting online shopping websites. Research design, data, and methodology - The study identified factors from existing literature and used Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) to propose a conceptual approach to explain consumer website selection behavior. Through extensive discussions among industry and academia experts, qualitative assessment of the relationship between various factors was determined. Results - According to the model, eight congregating factors do not converge directly for website selection, rather, they operate following a hierarchy of influence. The ISM and MICMAC analysis reveal that information on a website and website aesthetics play key roles in influencing website selection. However, convenience and the value proposition also play very significant roles. Conclusions - The study's findings can help the e-commerce industry, especially online retailers. The findings can be used to enhance e-retailer ability to attract, communicate, engage, achieve, monitor, and evaluate web traffic and design appropriate strategies. The study's prime contribution is the application of Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM) to the field of website selection.

Rapid spread of Internet, there appear so many commercial wedsites. Websites are not only tools to advertise a company or a product, but also value-added products inself. So we need a systematic approach(planning, design, implementation) to develop a website. But existing reserches on website development have corvered only technological issues such as network and HCI(Human Computer Intercation). In this research a framework is proposed to develop a website systematically using database of existing websites. This framework is composed of several stages-target customer segmentation, determination of services on website, dtermination of business model, functinal positioning, and evaution.
There is this research that supply better experience and satisfaction of most suitable in users standpoint to users through family restaurant website importance and assessment of satisfaction. Also, there is purpose of this research to supply pendulum in family restaurant internet marketing strategy establishment that website can achieve continuous role as marketing means to be not public information that drive revisit and substantial restaurant visit. Family restaurant website estimation received satisfaction assessment which do not get in importance (expected value) in general as analysis result. In other words, domestic family restaurants website are doing construction. operation by marketing means but real users are various interaction part that can collect and achieve about customer opinion except design part that can do to emboss company's image could see side that satisfaction is unenchanted and presented improvement way in website construction. operation on contents part of various and correct information offer and so on that customer infancy strategy part and user of event and coupon event etc. that is distinction robbers need. Also, realization possibility for restaurant prescription that latent customers who use net can raise family restaurant website revisit and substantial sale could see side.
