extensible Markup Language (XML) is a new markup language for data exchange on the Internet. In this paper, we propose a language extensible Rule Markup Language (XRML) which is an extension of XML. The implicit rules embedded in the Web pages should be identifiable, interchangeable with structured rule format, and finally accessible by various applications. It is possible to realize by using XRML. In this light, Web based Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) can be integrated with rule-based expert systems. To meet this end, we propose the six design criteria: Expressional Completeness, Relevance Linkability, Polymorphous Consistency, Applicative Universality, Knowledge Integrability and Interoperability. Furthermore, we propose three components such as RIML (Rule Identification Markup Language), RSML (Rule Structure Markup Language) and RTML (Rule Triggering Markup Language), and the Document Type Definition DTD). We have designed the XRML version 0.5 as illustrated above, and developed its prototype named Form/XRML which is an automated form processing for disbursement of the research fund in the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAISI). Since XRML allows both human and software agent to use the rules, there is huge application potential. We expect that XRML can contribute to the progress of Semantic Web platforms making knowledge management and e-commerce more intelligent. Since there are many emerging research groups and vendors who investigate this issue, it will not take long to see XRML commercial products. Matured XRML applications may change the way of designing information and knowledge systems in the near future.

Nowadays, the World Wide Web (WWW) has become an important resource of timely information for the information-related people such as information scientists, librarians, and students in Library and Information Sciences area. They are information professionals who navigate the information on the internet. Also, they need to be information providers who build a WWW homepage. This paper is a study of the necessity, preparation, and building WWW Homepage files for school of Library and Information Sciences in the age of competition among disciplines. It is particularly focused on the colleges and universities in Republic of Korea (ROK) and North America area. The purpose of this study is to provide various kinds of reference information to prepare a homepage in the future as utilizing information on the internet effectively. Even though a Web page was necessary for a school of Library and Information Sciences to show news, and introduce the purpose of the disciplines and the curriculum of the school, and the professors of a class etc., it was not well-prepared yet in ROK. However, a web page was used well enough and prosperous in North America area (Canada, the United States, and Puerto Rico) comparatively. Those web pages were analyzed and studied to prepare for a good designing of homepages for school of Library and Information Sciences in Korea and for the age of competition among disciplines in this paper. Suggestions for designing a good homepage and guidelines for preparing a best one were studied after both reviewing literature and utilizing experiences by the author who currently serves in the School of Library and Information Sciences in Keimyung University and builds homepage for the school. As a result, the major suggestions are ; premiered, and they are as follows: (1) English version of a homepage is necessary, (2) Provide a multimedia presentation about the nature of a school (3) Incorporate a place to let people make suggestions on the contents (of a homepage), (4) Bear in mind that potential users must be familiar with abbreviations you used, (5) Absolutely do not use abbreviations that may make the content more difficult to understand, (6) Add a feature on the every single page that will take the user back to the main page, (7) Use clear, short and well-structured sentences and remember to divide text into paragraphs, (8) Date with a creation or modification date in the homepage to indicate the updated date, (9) Being a multimedia environment, use colors effectively (the guidelines were also suggested), and (10) Put colleges' name into the title of bookmarks to find out them easily.
Objectives : This study aimed to provide basic data on intervention strategies that occupational therapists can access by systematically analyzing the intervention and effectiveness for youth with disabilities. Methods : The RISS, PubMed, and Web of Science databases were used to search for papers published between 2006 and 2021. The keywords were "Disability AND Adolescents OR Young adult AND Transition education OR Transition program". Seven papers were selected for analysis, and the full text was reviewed. The keywords and national relations were analyzed and visualized using the WoS (Web of Science) and VOSviewer programs. Results : The participants were classified into five types (ASD or ADHD, ID, DD, and physical disability). The areas used for the intervention were mixed into three categories: occupation (academic), self-management (time), and interaction (personal relations and communication). Sociality and adaptation, quality of life, and at least one of the three categories of daily life activities showed significant improvement. Conclusions : This study can be used as basic data to expand the area where only OTs can contribute while grasping the research trend of the conversion program and presenting the direction of exchange with various experts by organizing the application and its effects.

This study analyzed the related factors affecting to perceived gastritis or perceived enteritis for 11,753 Korean high school seniors who participated in the 2009 Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey (KYHRBWS). Of the subjects, 5,685 (47.6%)were male and 6,068(52.4%) were female and 8.7% of the students responded that they had suffered from gastritis or enteritis for a long time and the females had a slightly higher attack rate of gastritis or enteritis. Survey logistic regression models and decision tree analysis were used to calculate odd ratios and 95% confidence intervals. As a result, there was affecting to their stress and health behaviors in the risk of gastritis and enteritis, and that their lower level perceived health, smoking, heavy drinking or starting drinking before they were 13 years old and a higher level of perceived stress significantly affected the risk of gastritis or enteritis in the subjects(p<.001).
The IARC Monographs Programme on the Evaluation of Carcinogenic Risks to Humans has reviewed, summarized and evaluated 869 environmental agents and exposures as oj June 2000. This large collection includes all relevant published epidemiological data on cancer in exposed humans and results of bioassays for carcinogenicity in experimental animals. Since 1986. cancer data have been systematically supplemented by summaries of other toxicological data that are relevant to assessments of carcinogenic hazard. These include summaries qf genetic and related effects of chemicals. which have been prepared as Genetic Activity Profiles (GAP) by the U.S. EPA in collaboration with IARC. As the Mono-graphs have proved increasingly valuable and influential worldwide. they have evolved into an encyclopedia on environmental carcinogenic risks to humans. However. the Monographs have historically been prepared only as printed books with limited distribution. and the Monographs Programme has needed to adjust to expectations oj wider availability. Since 1998 the evaluations and summaries have been globally accessible by Internet from IARC (http://www.iarc.fr) and the GAP profiles by Internet from EPA (http://www.epa.gov/gapdb/). with the two web sites linked. Improved EPN/ARC GAP database and software. GAP2000. now link GAP profiles directly to the appropriate IARC web pages for summaries of evaluations of a given compound and its overall IARC classification. During the year 2000. by means of optical character recognition (OCR) technology the entire series of IARC Monographs is being converted to an electronic version. The first edition is now available commercially in CD-ROM format and will soon become available on-line at .

Geo-features play a key role in object-oriented or feature-based geo-processing system. So the strategy for how-to-model and how-to-manage the geo-features builds the main architecture of the entire system and also supports the efficiency and functionality of the system. Unlike the conventional 2D geo-processing system, geo-features in 3D GIS have lots to be considered to model regarding the efficient manipulation and analysis and visualization. When the system is running on the Web, it should also be considered that how to leverage the level of detail and the level of automation of modeling in addition to the support for client side data interoperability. We built a set of 3D geo-features, and each geo-feature contains a set of aspatial data and 3D geo-primitives. The 3D geo-primitives contain the fundamental modeling data such as the height of building and the burial depth of gas pipeline. We separated the additional modeling data on the geometry and appearance of the model from the fundamental modeling data to make the table in database more concise and to allow the users more freedom to represent the geo-object. To get the users to build and exchange their own data, we devised a fie format called VGFF 2.0 which stands for Virtual GIS File Format. It is to describe the three dimensional geo-information in XML(extensible Markup Language). The DTD(Document Type Definition) of VGFF 2.0 is parsed using the DOM(Document Object Model). We also developed the authoring tools for users can make their own 3D geo-features and model and save the data to VGFF 2.0 format. We are now expecting the VGFF 2.0 evolve to the 3D version of SVG(Scalable Vector Graphics) especially for 3D GIS on the Web.

A simulation tool for an optimal ATIS design and drivers' dynamic route choice behavior analysis is developed, which is applicable to urban networks. Due to the difficulty to make drivers feel the time pressure according to traffic conditions, current SP questionnaire survey type surveys have a limitation to capture correct driver reactions to real-time traffic Information provision. The simulator Is a web-based upgraded version, named WATiSim (Web-based ATIS Simulator), to quickly perform a wide population survey with a minimal cost using INTERNET Furthermore, the time pressure issue is lessened by its interface and simulation modules. After WATiSim mimicked a VMS based ATIS in a partial network of Seoul Metropolitan, reactions of drivers to various traffic conditions were surveyed through INTERNET and analyzed using a logit model. Drivers under the ATIS environment clearly understood the provided traffic information, and their reactions were closely related to traffic conditions, scheduled delay, trip purposes as well as toll charge if any.

The emergence of the World Wide Web (WWW) has changed the scholarly publishing system. Today, Open Access (OA) scholarly publishing offers free access and wide dissemination for research findings anytime and anywhere as an additional value for scholarly content. Despite the potentials of OA publishing, its adoption and use is still low. This paper determines factors influencing the adoption and use of OA publishing by academic staff in universities in Nigeria using an adapted Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use Technology (UTAUT). The study applies methodological triangulation by combining quantitative and qualitative approaches. The empirical data were collected from 317 academic staff in universities in southwest Nigeria. The questionnaire forms were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (IBM-SPSS) 19.0 version to generate descriptive statistics, Analysis of Variance, and Hierarchical Multiple Regression. Thematically, analysis also applies to the interviews. The results show that awareness, attitude, performance expectancy, Internet self-efficacy, and facilitating conditions significantly influenced the adoption and use of OA publishing. The study also reveals that due to lack of OA policy, most of the respondents did not know about OA. The findings further establish that all predictors and moderating variables jointly contributed 64.4% total variance towards the adoption and use of OA publishing. One of the implications of this study is that there is a need for adequate facilities to support adoption and use of OA publishing. The findings inform the proposed framework for improving and evaluating the adoption and use of OA publishing. The findings also have theoretical, societal, and methodological significance to all stakeholders.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to investigate trends of oral health behaviors in Korean adolescents. Methods: From the 2005 to 2017 Korea Youth Risk Behavior web-based Survey (KYRBS) Secondary Data (study to 748,461). Independent variables were the year, gender, grade, and living area. Dependent variables were the rate of tooth-brushing after lunch, scaling, use of sealant, and oral health education within 1 year. Chi-squire tests were used to estimate the rate of oral health behaviors and trends. In addition, multiple logistic regression analysis was used to estimate the association between socio-economic characteristics and oral health behaviors. The analyses were conducted using IBM SPSS statistics 21 (version 21.0, IBM Corporation, New York, NY, USA). Results: The rate of tooth-brushing after lunch and use of sealant have significantly increased every year. Oral health behaviors were significantly associated with socio-economic characteristics. The rate of oral health education was higher among males than females, which was in contrast to other oral health behaviors. The scores for tooth-brushing after lunch, use of sealant, and scaling in females were 2.33 (95% CI; 2.27-2.40), 1.31 (95% CI; 1.29-1.33), and 1.20 (95% CI; 1.18-1.22), which were higher than those in males. The score for use of sealant in the highest household economy group was 1.13 (95% CI; 1.10-1.17), which was higher than the lowest economy group. Conclusions: We found positive trends of oral health behaviors in Korean adolescents.
The assessment of patient status in palliative medicine is essential for determining treatments and for clinical outcomes. The objective of assessment tools is to raise the quality of care for individual patients and their families. There are a number of tools available to assess pain, non-pain symptoms and quality of life. The tools are either uni-dimensional or multi-dimensional measures. Unfortunately, however, no single tool is recommended to be a superior to others in symptoms or quality of life assessment. Therefore, to select an appropriate assessment tool, one should consider the time frame and unique characteristics of tools depending on purpose and setting. The combination of prognostic index is highly recommended in prognostication, and web-based prognostic tools are available. Recently, a new objective prognostic score has been constructed through multicenter study in Korea. It does not include clinicalestimates of survival, but includes new objective prognostic factors, therefore, anyone can easily use it. For beginners in palliative medicine, relatively easy-to-use tools would be convenient. We recommend Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status to assess functional status, numeric rating scale for pain assessment and the Korean version of brief pain inventory for initial pain assessment. Asking directly with numeric rating scale or the Korean version of MD Anderson Symptom Inventory would be desirable to assess various symptoms together. We think that European Organization Research and Treatment Quality of Life Questionnaire Core 15 for Palliative Care is good to assess the quality of life, while Objective Prognostic Score is convenient as prognostic index for beginners.
