The current information system audit merely inspects a web based information system by focusing on checking items that are extracted from structured and information engineering model and object-oriented component model. As a result, the checking item of web contents and design is inadequate. This paper aims to extract audit framework in order to strengthen the audit of web contents and design during the development of the web based information system and to suggest checking items based on audit framework. For this, the web development process and web site evaluation model were studied, compared, and analyzed with the current information system development audit. From a result of the survey, it was found that the adequacy of the suggested audit framework and audit checking items is above the average value. It is believed that the suggested audit framework is helpful for the audit of web based information system.

As the value of B2B integration gets more importance and the business process becomes more complex, BPEL4WS standard has been focused for the solution of the problems which is based on web service technology. Many vendors implement the standard in their systems to integrate B2B and web service based inner-Enterprise Application(EA)s. But there is no way to use the standard to integrate non-web service based EAs, because the standard is designed only for Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) over web services. This paper proposes Hybrid Service Orchestration Framework to participate web services and also non-web service based EAs in the business process as a partner using BPEL4WS standard. The framework introduces Hybrid Service Architecture to represent non-web service based EAs as a service, so BPEL4WS could be used to integrate web services and non-web service based EAs. And the framework also introduces Hybrid Service Toolkit to support software level facilities. The paper also introduces Hybrid Orchestration System that is based on Hybrid Service Orchestration Framework.

The purpose of this paper is to propose an analytical model for evaluating Internet Web sites, that is comprehensive and flexible enough to accomodate different categories of Internet Web sites. This paper is intended to identify critical success factors of Internet Web sites to determine criteria for evaluating the Web sites, and use the criteria to develop a framework for comprehensive evaluation of Internet Web sites. The framework consists of eight categories, including design, business functions, trustworthiness, interface, technology, community, contents, and others. An empirical study designed to validated the framework has been conducted for each of the three Web site categories, including (1) information provision, (2) product sale, and (3) customer service. The results show that ‘content ’ is the most important for information provision Web sites, ‘trustworthiness’for product sale Web sites, and ‘design’ for customer service Web sites. The framework may be used not only as a tool to evaluate Internet Web sites, but also as a checklist to improve the quality of a Web site that is under development.

모바일 웹 애플리케이션들이 다양한 모바일 디바이스의 성능향상으로 형태로 변화하고 있다. 하지만 기존 PC환경과 달리 개발환경 및 표준에 대한 고려가 적어 애플리케이션을 디바이스 별로 구현하는 등의 이유로 개발비용이 소모되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 MWeb-프레임워크를 통해 최근 각광 받고 있는 웹 프레임워크기반의 모바일 웹 개발을 수행하는 개발방법론을 제안하며 이와 더불어 다양한 디바이스에서 동일한 사용이 가능하도록 모바일 웹 표준 준수를 지원한다. Ruby on Rails기반의 모바일 웹 개발 아키텍처를 정의하고 이를 바탕으로 모바일 웹 표준을 준수하는 애자일 개발방법론을 적용한 프로세스 모델을 제안한다. 제안한 모바일 웹 개발 프레임워크를 통한 사례연구를 수행하여 제안한 프레임워크를 검증한다. 이를 통해 개발 수행 시 애자일 개발방법론을 도입하여 신속한 개발을 수행할 수 있으며 모바일 웹 표준 환경을 준수하여 모바일 웹애플리케이션의 품질과 신뢰성을 획득할 수 있다. 향후 연구로 제안한 MWeb-프레임워크의 다양한 사례연구를 통해 잠재적인 문제를 개선하고 이를 바탕으로 표준화를 제안한다.

본고는 크게 두가지 주제로 구성이된다. 첫번째로는 HTML5 기반의 mobile Web application platform 구조에 대해서 상세히 소개한다. Web application platform은 기술 구조상 mobile OS에 내재되어 native형태로 배포되는 Browser engine을 포함한 platform 부분과 native Web platform 상에서 구동되는 HTML5 application framework 부분으로 구성된다. HTML5 application framework 구축을 위해 시장에서 널리쓰이는 open source로서 jQuery Mobile framework을 소개한다. 두번째로 해당 Web platform상에서 동작하는 Web application 개발시 부디칠 각종 성능 이슈 및 그것을 해결하기 위한 접근법을 다섯가지 기술 영역으로 나누어, 각 영역별로 적용 가능한 실기를 다룬다. 마지막으로 최적화시 사용가능한 각종 open source profiling 및 성능 최적화 tool에 대해서 소개한다.

The World-Wide-Web have many advantages as a front-end of database systems. Hence in Internet applications, such as E-Commerce systems, the requirements for Web-based database applications have been increasing. In this work we propose a framework for java-based Web database applications-JaWAF(Java-based Web Application Framework). JaWAF has the 3-tier architecture of Client/Server, and consists of database gateway, application server, and communication and message component. When this framework is applied to the database applications developments, it can provide advantages, such as ease understanding and fast implementations of the Web applications. Thus we can build 3-tier Web-based database application systems with high scalability and distributed processing capability. Database gateway in JaWAF works as a daemon process that connects to the database systems and waits for requests from clients, and supports state-oriented service between clients and database servers. Hence the performance of Web applications could be increasing.

웹의 등장 이후 급속도로 증가하는 정보를 효율적으로 처리하기 위하여 시맨틱 웹이 등장하였다. 시맨틱 웹은 기계가 사람을 대신하여 정보의 의미를 이해하고 사용자가 원하는 정보를 자동으로 처리하는 웹을 의미한다. 본 연구에서는 시맨틱 웹 기술을 기반으로 구현된 애플리케이션들을 조사하여 차세대 웹으로 주목 받고 있는 시맨틱 웹의 이해를 돕는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해, 시맨틱 웹 애플리케이션의 전반적인 분석에 사용되는 시스템 프레임워크를 제안하였다. 제시된 프레임워크를 이용하여 최신의 시맨틱 웹 애플리케이션들을 분석하였고 분석 결과를 바탕으로 향후 보다 실제적인 시맨틱 웹 구현을 위한 도전 과제들을 언급하였다.

In this paper, we designed a new type of X-internet framework by using Flash component and server service API and analyzed its performance. Proposed X-internet framework uses Flash MX Professional 2004, Java, and software which opened middleware and database. Since proposed framework use the server service API that we developed in this paper and Flash player, this framework does not need server module. Proposed framework enables to obtain design with dynamic user interface compare to Web application and enables to reduce development time. In analytical results, it has been shown that proposed x-internet framework have efficient characteristics such as network traffic, low development cost and dynamic user interface implementation. Since proposed X-internet framework can operate in environment of current developer friendly, it is useful for development of various new application programs and we confirm it through Flash web mail implementation by using proposed x-internet framework.

This study proposed a structural and semantic framework for the characterization of events and segments in Web videos that permits content-based searches and dynamic video summarization. Although MPEG-7 supports multimedia structural and semantic descriptions, it is not currently suitable for describing multimedia content on the Web. Thus, the proposed metadata framework that was designed considering Web environments provides a thorough yet simple way to describe Web video contents. Precisely, the metadata framework was constructed on the basis of Chatman's narrative theory, three multimedia metadata formats (PBCore, MPEG-7, and TV-Anytime), and social metadata. It consists of event information, eventGroup information, segment information, and video (program) information. This study also discusses how to automatically extract metadata elements including structural and semantic metadata elements from Web videos.

웹 마이닝은 사용자의 웹 이용 분석을 위해 웹에서 발생한 데이터를 대상으로 유용한 패턴을 찾아내는 기법이다. 하지만 기존의 웹 마이닝은 웹 로그의 연속적인 특성을 충분히 반영하여 분석하지 못하였다. 이를 보완하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 프로세스 마이닝을 활용하여 프로세스 모델에 의한 순차적인 관계에 따른 웹 접속 로그를 분석하는 프레임워크를 제시한다. 프로세스 모델에 기반한 웹 로그 분석은 웹 페이지들을 이동한 사용자들의 행위를 이해하고 문제점과 개선방안을 도출하는 데 유용하게 사용될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 제안한 방법론을 이용하여 대학정보시스템의 웹 로그를 분석하여 적용 가능성과 그 분석 결과를 제시하였다.
