The enterprise find a solution to the problems such as a reduction of manufacturing period, accurate analysis for customer demand, improvement for customer service and rise of manufacture accomplishment. Internet is a good solution to such problems. Internet offers WWW(World Wide Web), remote control, file transfer and e-mail service. Among the services, WWW takes large portion because of convenient GUI, easy information search and unlimited information registration. Remote Monitoring Server(RMS) system that uses network service is constructed for chip mounter. Hardware base consists of RMS, chip mounter and C/S(Customer Service) server. Software includes DBMS and various modules in server home page. This provide product number, bad product number, trouble code, content and countermeasure in real-time information module, user information in setup module, detailed error information in fault diagnosis module, fault history in fault history module and customer information in customer service management module.

The growth of the World Wide Web and web-based applications is creating demand for high performance web servers to offer better throughput and shorter user-perceived latency. This demand leads to widely used cluster-based web servers in the Internet infrastructure. Load balancing algorithms play an important role in boosting the performance of cluster web servers. Previous load balancing algorithms suffer a significant performance drop under dynamic and database-driven workloads. We propose an estimation-based load balancing algorithm with admission control for cluster-based web servers. Because it is difficult to accurately determine the load of web servers, we propose an approximate policy. The algorithm classifies requests based on their service times and tracks the number of outstanding requests from each class in each web server node to dynamically estimate each web server load state. The available capacity of each web server is then computed and used for the load balancing and admission control decisions. The implementation results confirm that the proposed scheme improves both the mean response time and the throughput of clusters compared to rival load balancing algorithms and prevents clusters being overloaded even when request rates are beyond the cluster capacity.

본 논문에서는 웹 페이지 운영자가 웹 서버에 패스워드로 보호된 웹 영역을 배치시키는데 편리함을 제공하는 목적으로 새로운 패스워드 인증 방안을 제안한다. 이 방법에 따라 웹 영역은 접근 제한된 웹 페이지가 저장된 웹서버의 보안 디렉토리에 연결된다. 패스워드는 보안 디렉토리의 이름을 생성하는데 사용되며, 자바스크립트 코드는 보안 디렉토리영역 외부의 인증 웹 페이지에 포함된다. 이 스크립트 코드는 사용자가 입력한 패스워드를디렉토리 이름으로 변환시키고, 보안 디렉토리 내부의 접근 제한된 웹 페이지를 지시하는 완전한 URL을 형성한다. 따라서, 패스워드를 아는 사용자만이 유효한 URL을 구성할 수 있고, 접근 제한된 웹 페이지를 검색할 수 있다. 이 방법에 따라, 웹 페이지 운영자는 서버 독립적인 방식으로 패스워드로 보호된 웹 영역을 배치할 수 있다.

In this paper, we have designed a Home Networking System using an embedded linux board. The system based on the World-Wide-Web is composed of three parts - a Server, a Client and a Simulator. The Home Networking Server is built in an embedded board using an embedded linux kernel. A web-server and Home Networking Server Seryice Demon programming with a Jaya-Language is included in the board. Clients can connect to the server board using a web-browser in the desktop computer, PDA or any other machines which include a web-browser. For this purpose, we made the client program using a Java-Applet. So, the clients who connect to the server for the control of the applications, download the class-file and execute the client-program in the web-browser. So, the clients don't need any other programs to control the applications from a remote place. The size of server board is very small (86.3$\times$74mm), which makes it very useful not only for the Home-Networking-System but also in many other fields, e.g., embedded robot control system, etc. Using an embedded board instead of a desktop computer is good for a simple network environment and it occupies only a small space to make the system.

미국, 유럽 등 해외 선진국에서는 농업생산환경 모니터링 시스템을 구축하여 작물 생산량 예측, 기상 변화 및 이상치 관측, 작물 재배지 분류 및 면적 산정 등 작물 생산에 영향을 주는 요인에 대한 정보 취득과 분석에 활용하고 있다. 이러한 시스템은 오픈소스 및 상용소프트웨어를 활용한 웹 기반 시스템이며 원격탐사자료를 활용한 다양한 정보 제공이 이루어진다. 본 연구에서는 농업생산환경 모니터링을 위하여 널리 활용되고 있는 GeoServer, ArcGIS Server를 이용하여 Map Server 및 Web Application Server가 구성되었으며 응답시간 및 데이터 전송량 평가를 통하여 향후 농업생산환경 모니터링을 위한 시스템 구성과 이에 대한 성능평가를 진행하였다. 동일한 조건에서 구축된 시스템은 응답시간 및 초당 데이터전송량에서 GeoServer가 상대적으로 우수한 결과를 나타내었다.

본 논문에서는 대용량 전자메일 서버의 성능 데이터를 수집해 그 분석 결과를 웹 기반으로 관리자에게 제공하는 모니터링 시스템을 구현하였다. 이를 위해 전자메일 서버의 성능 데이터 수집 항목을 도출하고, 각 항목별 측정 임계치를 설정하여 전자메일 서버의 성능을 객관적인 수치로 표현될 수 있도록 하였다. 전자메일 서버의 성능 데이터 수집은 SCOM 2007 서버 모니터링 도구를 이용하였으며, 성능 분석 파라미터 설정은 마이크로소프트사에서 제공하는 Exchange 서버 관리 팩과 SCOM 2007에서 제공하는 모니터링 규칙을 이용하였다. ASP.NET 프레임워크 기반의 C# 프로그래밍을 통해 웹 기반의 성능 모니터링 프로그램을 개발했으며, 성능 분석 결과는 관리자에게 웹 기반의 성능보고서, 장애 보고서 및 가용성 보고서 형태로 제공된다. 장애 요소를 사전에 효율적으로 감지할 수 있어 본 시스템 적용 전후 비교시 60% 이상 장애 건수를 줄일 수 있었으며, 장애 발생시에도 복구에 소요되는 시간을 획기적으로 단축할 수 있었다.

최근 사용되는 유무선 공유기는 하나의 IP를 여러 대의 컴퓨터가 인터넷에 접속할 수 있도록 해주는 기능을 한다. 또한 웹 서버나 프린트 서버, 웹 하드, P2P의 기능을 하기 위해서는 PC나 서버에서 별도의 설정 또는 구축 작업을 통해서만 가능하였다. 본 논문에서는 OpenWRT를 지원하는 공유기를 활용하여 네트워크 설정과 방화벽 및 다양한 서비스 설정을 기반으로 한 다기능의 웹 서버를 구축 및 연구한다. 구축된 웹 서버는 보안이 강화된 서버를 통해 안정적이며 안전한 멀티미디어 서비스 및 인터넷 전화를 제공할 수 있다. OpenWRT기반의 웹 서버 공유기는 모바일 APP 및 PC프로그램을 통해 서비스를 제공받을 수 있다.

A web-based platform for structural analysis has been developed. The proposed web-based platform is a 2-tier system composed o( client and server sides to reduce the overburden on the server side. Smart Client is applied for the client side to improve the handling speed and UI. For the server side, MSSQL is applied to deal with database and used as a storage for the web. XML WebService is adpoted for the networking between the client and the server. To examine the efficiency of the developed web-based platform a sample study is carried out with a nonlinear earthquake analysis on a SDOF system.

This paper describes a DAVIC based VoD service system that allows access via the Web, taking advantage of the wide availability of Web browsers. A simple access mechanism of a DAVIC based VoD system, using a Web browser is adopted on the proposed system. The client and VoD server are compliant with DAVIC, a user can access the VoD server simply by selecting the Web server's address via a Web browser. A menu enables the user to select VCR-like buttons, to establish an S2 control flow and to send the commands contained in the buttons to the VoD server. A simple implementation shows the feasibility of the proposed approach.

본 논문에서 구현한 더블큐 웹서버는 동시에 들어오는 요청들을 두 가지로 분류하여 서비스한다. 캐쉬되어 있는 문서를 요구하는 요청은 서비스 큐에 넣고, 캐쉬되지 않은 문서를 요구하는 요청은 기다림 큐에 넣는다. 더블큐 웹서버는 서비스 큐의 모든 문서를 서비스 한 후 기다림 큐의 요청을 서비스한다. 이 방식은 디스크 접근 오버헤드를 줄이기 위해 캐쉬 된 문서의 서비스를 우선하는 정책으로 아파치 웹서버와 비교 실험 결과 서버의 성능과 평균 사용자 응답 시간을 향상시켰다.
